Covid was (is) still rampant. Not to mention it's cold, the roads are slick with ice, and the drive up the mountain to our rental house was, putting it mildly, scary. It didn't feel like we had a professional photographer with us, it felt Madison was a personal and close friend. She blended in seamlessly with our family, friends and guests, capturing the precious and in-between moments of our wedding party. My wife and I still talk about how the favorite moments of the entire week, were the moments spent with Madison as she followed us through snow and gusting winds (5 degrees at that). She gently directed our movements to create very natural and aesthetically pleasing images that we will cherish for a lifetime. It would be an understatement to say we are pleased with the finished images. We are ecstatic! If you are searching for a "photographer", keep looking. ure our big day. Unfortunately, our original wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic, but Madison was more than helpful and accommodating when we decided to postpone. To this day (3 months since our wedding date and a year and a half since our engagement photos), people still comment on our photos and our brilliant photographer. Leading up to our wedding, Madison exceeded our expectations. Helping lay the foundation for our day-of schedule (minute-by-minute breakdown!) to me texting her for weather predictions for our outdoor event (!!), Madison was there by our side, in our corner, the entire time. On the day of, it was a feeling of calm when she arrived at our home while I was getting ready. She was prepared to confidently face the day and ensured everyone was where they needed to be. She ran the show, kept everyone on schedule, and even when I wanted to give up taking photos because my feet hurt and my face felt like it was frozen from smiling so much (lol) she looked me square in the eyes and so patiently said, "it will be worth it"—I trusted her implicitly. We just received our full album and I can't even fully explain how beyond pleased we are with our photos. The moments Madison notices and the way she captures them is artful—sweet candids of our friends and family during the ceremony, shots where a breeze just-so-perfectly catches in someone's hair, glances and gazes, and hand holds to more editorial/documentary-style photos once the sun went down—every detail, every moment was captured to perfection. People often say that brides and grooms miss so much of their day—this is true. And we couldn't be more ecstatic that we chose Madison because, lucky for us, we're able to relive the day (over and over and over) through her photos. We can't wait to include her in all of our special family moments in the future.

Other - Madison brings a portable speaker to each shoot and let us choose the music to reduce nerves/make us more comfortable. - She made quick and impressive judgement calls on the fly on lighting, location, timing – she’s got an eye for these things. - She provided meaningful wedding-day tips outside of photography. - She sent us 50 photos in our sneak peek within 48 hours of our wedding day, and delivered all of our photos weeks before the agreed-upon date. - Madison is incredibly prompt at responding to emails and always has a friendly demeanor when we had requests or ideas. And finally, there is no shadow of a doubt Madison will be our photographer as we go through life’s big milestones. We’re so happy to say that she has become more than a photographer after meeting her and is now a friend. We cannot recommend Madison highly enough and are so looking forward to her capturing our future together.

Madison was there to answer all of my questions before the session, including lots of outfit questions. We did a sunrise session and I can't recommend that enough. I went in trying to manage my own expectations, because I know these beautiful genuine photos can be more chance than design. But man, did Madison deliver. We had an ~1.5 hr shooting time around Austin. We got over 100 photos and over 50% were beautiful frame worthy, blow-up-and-put-on-the-wall shots. Not to mention most shots felt really intimate - there was this make-me-smile kind of atmosphere to them, and I know I'll be flipping through them for years and years to come. For anyone having done a "natural" instead of studio photoshoot, you'll know that's quite the yield. Madison is a wizard with lighting and timing. She also runs a tight, professional process - from fun couples surveys to get to know us, to day of communication and preparation. I felt like I just had a fun date with my fiancé around town, and a cool friend came along and snapped pictures. Not to mention I truly enjoyed our cool friend's company - Madison's a romantic and a cheerleader for each couple's relationship. I think that contributes to her success. It's a huge shame that she was already booked for our wedding date. I know that I would go back to Madison without hesitation for any future events.

Being a 2020 bride came with many challenges, and Madison was able to work with us to make sure we still had the perfect day. Other than being a wonderful person and photographer, she was also able to get us edited sneak peaks just ONE DAY after our wedding. The completed album only took her about a week and a half to edit and have sent to us as well! We now have hundreds of beautiful images to hang in our home and reminisce with our families for years to come. As with many brides during Covid-19, I sadly had to move my wedding to 2021. The positive of having a very small legal wedding was that Madison, who's a bridesmaid, was able to not only capture the wedding but be there to support me. We were still working on the details of our legal wedding basically up to the moment we got married since the laws/regulations were constantly changing during Covid-19. When she arrived I was already getting ready and she got to work immediately making sure every small detail was captured.
