Travis was great! We had a pretty large playlist, and he was able to make it all flow perfectly and fit it all in during the reception and the dance. He is very easy to get a hold of before the big day as well for anything that comes up. Would recommend to anyone in the Madison area.

We hired Travis for our wedding at the recommendation of our venue and could not have been happier! He was such an incredible DJ and had the dance floor going the entire night. He played a great mix of music for both our older and younger crowds to enjoy. All our guests had nothing but good things to say about him! I cannot say enough about Madison Mobile DJ and Travis our DJ. Request him if you can, you won’t be disappointed. My song request list was not long and I said go with the flow and play whatever. Which he did and I have never been to a wedding where the Dance floor is full the entire night. I have friends/family a month later still talking about how great of a DJ he was! I am more bummed that I didn’t get to dance more and hope to attend a wedding he is DJ’ing at because I absolutely loved all the music he played!

Travis was awesome, he went the extra mile to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch!! He made sure the best speeches were heard by everyone there, he asked of ahead of time for any special song requests so he could make sure he had them to play on our wedding day. He exemplifies professionalism. He played great music all night long. My best man also used their services for his wedding and they crushed. Travis did everything in his power to make sure we had our dream wedding, and sure enough, it was perfect!( aside from being during the pandemic and having to reschedule) Even with having to reschedule our wedding, Travis made sure to make it all work. We got married during COVID and had to make some last minute changes to have an outdoor reception. Travis and his team were completely accommodating to the changes. Our djay Rob asked all the right questions about what music and lighting we wanted. He was very professional and attentive and our guests loved the music at our reception.

We got married at the end of October and used Madison Mobile DJ for our reception. Our DJ was Travis, and he was outstanding. We gave him a short list of “must play” songs, and he filled in the rest with essentially perfect music for the crowd and occasion. I don’t think there was a single moment where the dance floor was empty, and he was there until the very last of the people left. We had no hiccups with the microphones for speeches, pacing, music, or volume, and he even checked on us occasionally throughout the night to make sure everything was going as we wanted. One thing we really appreciated was that he was able to blend in music suggestions from our guests! It really helped to make the night more personal and fun. Also, we went with a package that included the photobooth, and it was an absolute hit! Our guests had a ton of fun dressing up, and there was practically a line for the booth the entire time it was there. Plus, we got a book afterwards with copies of peoples’ pictures and comments from them, which was a great memento of the night! We would definitely recommend Madison Mobile DJ for anyone else looking for a wedding DJ!

Travis is and will always be my go to for a DJ! I know that no matter what he will do his best to help in any way possible if he can! He went above and beyond for me this event! He helped fill in for a DJ that decided to completely leave the bride and groom wondering what they should do. With a call, and some magic, Travis was able to provide a great set of music completely short notice that was loved by the whole party! We were lucky enough to meet Tim Williams at a wedding show in Madison and we instantly connected. Our biggest fear with a DJ was getting someone who wouldn’t listen to what we were looking for and we had no reason to fear with Tim. He was excellent at listening to what we were looking for and checking in with us if he had a question on something. He was great at playing music that brought and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. He has a real appreciation for good music and got so excited when we found common interests! We cannot recommend him highly enough!!

I was originally a bit nervous that we weren't going to have the DJ we first thought we would, but I honestly could not have hand-picked a better DJ than Mark from Madison Mobile DJs. He was a consummate professional from the start of the ceremony to the last song of the reception. And it wasn't just the fact that he was an excellent DJ, he was helpful to the point that it was like having an extra attendant. Once we were into the thick of things, I truly recognized that the services Mark was providing were important to the point of being necessary. Not only is Mark incredibly professional, he is a super personable guy! It's not surprising that he worked well with us and with the venue staff, but every guest that he schmoozed with had nothing but positive things to say about him. He handled requests sensibly and gracefully and was always in tune with the moment. After hearing the horror stories of family and friends when they booked DJs for their weddings, I literally (the dictionary definition of literally) couldn't have been happier with our outcome. It is impossible for me to recommend Mark highly enough for people that are looking for a DJ that can support the venue staff, support the wedding party, and to roll with the punches. If you want to avoid the stress of booking the best DJ in the southern Wisconsin area, simply ask for Mark from Madison Mobile DJs and sleep soundly knowing that you just crushed it.

Mark was our DJ for our wedding and he did a great job. Our communication prior to the wedding was good, I was able to send any questions I had and got them answered in a timely manner. On the day of our wedding Mark greeted us as our bus arrived to the reception and let us know how everything was going inside for the cocktail hour. Then he went over the names of our wedding party for our grand march which was great and allowed all the names to be pronounced right. During the dinner time Mark played nice soft music in the background. This was nice as it allowed people to still have conversations, but listen to something nice while eating. Towards the end of dinner Mark set everything up for our speeches. We had a wireless microphone which made them very easy. Mark was great about helping us let everyone know when cake was being served as well as when first dances were starting. He continued the night with great music choices that we had suggested as well as our guests. He played appropriate music at the perfect times and our guests had nothing but great things to say about Mark. We couldn't have had a better DJ for our wedding and were glad that Mark was a part of our Vendor choice. We would recommend Mark to anyone who was looking for a DJ.

Travis was quick to answer and address all of our questions and concerns – it is very evident how knowledgeable he is with all of this and it was a very good feeling to know we were in such good hands! When approaching our date, Travis connected us with one of his DJ's (Robb) who quickly reached out to review details and address all of our needs. Even on the phone before our special day, we knew how amazing he would be! He was so knowledgeable as well and took the time to really get to know what we wanted and went through the day with us. On the day of, Robb was an outstanding DJ and that’s an understatement. We had our guests taking his card and asking where we found him! Robb knew how to get the crowd going and LOVED doing it! We also got a photobooth which we would recommend as well. Our guests were going from the dance floor to the photo booth and were all smiles. We were in a bit of a pinch the week of our wedding when our DJ backed out. We were recommended to Madison Mobile DJ Service and they were able to fit us in last minute. Travis put us in the hands of one of his DJ's (Robb), and he was quick to reach out to us to go over the details. Robb was an outstanding DJ, we got multiple comments on how talented he was and how he played great music. Some things our guests said were "the music he played was awesome", "your DJ is fantastic", and "he played all of our requests". Robb really knew how to play for the group of people we had. We loved having them DJ our wedding and couldn't have imagined it any other way. We got married is October 2018 and our guests are still talking about our DJ! We would highly recommend them. We are a last minuet couple and even with our wedding that was no exception. We weren't given our DJ info until 3 days before our wedding. When Travis called i knew right away he was gonna be perfect for our wedding. He has a great sense of humor and was able to fit right in with the crazy requests from my family. I wasn't able to get him the wedding song list until 2am the day of the wedding lol and he had it all set and ready to go without issue. Even with everything being last minuet it was perfect. Travis is an awesome DJ and he knows his stuff and will work with you even if your as last minuet as we are. But I don't recommend being last minuet lol. Thank you Travis everything was perfect!

Our experience with Madison Mobile DJ service was amazing! Travis was our DJ and he was so patient with me. I was the nervous bride who had so many questions and tried to plan things way far in advance, and he assured me that we would be in communication closer to the date (10/20/18). We talked about a week before the wedding and confirmed that he received our questionnaire sheet. I hadn’t met him before but this company was the preferred vendor of our venue, so we felt confident booking them. The wedding day arrives and as a busy bride I didn’t have a lot of awareness of how and when things were getting set up. We went outside for some pictures before the ceremony, and Travis and I connected on some details. I could tell he knew what he was doing, knew the venue, and had enough experience to make sure everything was set up how we had hoped and how it worked best for him. He played our ceremony music and when the microphone stopped working, he was quick to bring in a replacement which was great! Before our grand march he met with us and our wedding party to make sure he had names pronounced correctly. I have to say, when we did our grand march and got seated for dinner, his music selection was amazing! We hadn’t even been served our food yet and I had people coming to me saying how great the music was! Travis was so great checking in to see if we needed anything, took song requests, helped give announcements to our guests (like when our late night snack was served), and really kept the dance floor going. He had light up toys for the kids, and the photo booth and Kyle our photo booth attendant were awesome as well! The props were fantastic and Kyle did a great job keeping the groups going and keeping the pictures organized in a book for us. We got compliments all night and the day after about the music and photo booth and compliments about how kind Travis and Kyle were to our guests and our other vendors. Even though I was nervous about little communication leading up to the day, he truly knows what he is doing and can be trusted to provide an amazing experience for your big day! We are so thankful Travis was there the help make our wedding day so memorable!

We loved Travis and Madison Mobile DJ! We hired Travis for our September 2018 wedding. He gave me his personal cell phone number where I could text or call him with any questions or concerns. He always texted right back or answered the phone right away. Leading up to the wedding, he kept telling me not to worry because he has years and years of experience and he'll make sure everything is taken care of. As a bride... you hear that from just about every vendor so I had my doubts because nothing ever goes perfect. Well.... Travis proved me wrong! At the reception, he got our guests pumped up before we did our grand march and announced everyone's names perfectly. He helped us stick to the timeline we gave him - which was so helpful since the whole day is a time crunch! He announced tables to go up for dinner and let it be known when we were starting speeches. He got EVERYONE on the dance floor and played what we requested. He even got the majority of the guests at our reception (we had 220+ guests) to get together to take a few HUGE group pictures. Travis was awesome! The uplighting was great too. We also had a photobooth from him and the attendant (I unfortunately don't remember her name) was so kind and professional! She found us at the end of the night before she left and told us how honored she was to help us out for the wedding and that she enjoyed our guests because they were so fun. We've had countless compliments on both our DJ and the Photobooth! We would definitely hire Madison Mobile DJ again if we ever need another DJ!

They were wonderful to work with! Their process before the wedding was very smooth, and really let them know what kind of music we like and what we were expecting for the day. The day of, we had Ryan as our DJ. He did a fantastic job! He got everyone out of the dance floor, and got the timing of the music just right, so there was a perfect flow for the whole evening. Travis and Mark were amazing to work with -- they were responsible, responsive, and played fantastic music that aligned with our tastes and preferences. Before the wedding, they contacted us well in advance and asked about our preferences in music, including "must play" songs, "do not play", and general tastes. We had A LOT of preferences across a wide range of music types, and Mark was able to incorporate all of our preferences in a fun, appealing, and perfectly timed way. During the wedding preparation, he provided helpful guidance on songs that we may want to use for speeches, entrances, etc. when we had questions. During the dinner, he helped cue us for speeches and made sure that we stayed on time. During dinner he played really great music that helped amplify the mood but did not overshadow speeches. Then, he cued the dance floor and the music he played all night was nothing short of amazing! He mixed old-school pop and r&b hits, with class songs, and modern songs with seamless transitions. He was judicious in the requests he took, which made our guests feel heard without allowing anything crazy to happen. It's rare that both parents and college friends love the DJ, but our parents and friends couldn't stop raving about the music at the wedding. Madison Mobile DJ service was a pleasure to work with and provided a wonderful experience. I couldn't recommend nicer or more talented DJs

Highly, highly recommend Madison Mobile DJ. Our DJ, Mark, was amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests about how awesome he was. He played every song that was requested and was great with making announcements before the dancing to make sure guests knew what was going on! I don't think anyone wanted to leave the dance floor (including my husband and I). We met with the owner several months before our wedding day and he really helped us choose what "DJ package" would be best for what we were looking for and it ended up working out perfectly! I will recommend this DJ service over and over to friends & family that are searching!

There are hundreds if not thousands of choices that you could make to DJ your wedding or event and Travis is right up there with the best. Anyone can pick a playlist of good music but where Travis set himself apart was his ability to control the crowd and entertain our guests right up until the last song. He was professional an responded quickly to inquiries before the event and was more than reasonably priced compared to other options. I was very impressed with how little direction Travis needed to get set up at the venue and put on the exact show that we were hoping for. Spend your time focusing on other details of your event, because Travis has the entertainment covered!

We used Madison Mobile DJ for our wedding reception on October 28, 2017, and were extremely happy with how our evening turned out! One of our groomsmen short-listed Madison Mobile DJ for us, and we chose them after meeting with Travis a few months before the wedding. Rather than jumping right into music or reception details, first Travis took some time to get to know us better – how we met, our general interests, etc. And when we got into the details, Travis really listened, grasped what we were looking for, and was very receptive to the amount of input we wanted to have. Cris Cruz was our DJ, and he absolutely crushed it! We only needed light MC-ing during the cocktail hour and dinner, and Cris did a great job keeping things moving without being intrusive. His tone is professional while being friendly and inviting at the same time (and as far as possible from the “obnoxious wedding DJ” we all try to avoid). The dance is really where Cris excelled. The flow, pacing, and song selection were all outstanding! Cris mixes everything live, so songs don’t simply fade-out/fade-in; he actually overlaps and mixes the songs so they blend one right into the next, which kept the dance floor packed all night! We are an American (groom) and Venezuelan (bride) couple, so our wedding had a mix of American and Latin guests, and Cris did such a good job employing a perfect variety of cultural influences and musical styles. In particular, Cris’s execution of La Hora Loca (a kind of “Carnival meets a wedding dance” Latin tradition) was amazing. We could not be happier with how our wedding dance turned out, and would absolutely recommend Cris to anyone looking for an awesome wedding dance!

Prior to our wedding day, we worked with Travis (owner) to identify the atmosphere we wanted. After that, he paired us with DJ Tim who we then talked with about our music requirements. It was a perfect match! Tim was professional, efficient and most importantly – fun. He read the crowd and kept our dance floor filled for nearly four hours. We actually had to have our shuttle driver come back for another trip because more people than expected stayed until the last song.

First the good: Our DJ, Tim, was AMAZING and that's the most important part of this whole thing. He kept people on the dance floor all night, checked in with us frequently, and any requests from us, he was right on top of. He made sure everyone giving a toast was comfortable and good to go. Only complaint with Tim was he pronounced our names wrong when first announcing us. Then the not so good: Service before the wedding was a little confusing and left me a little panicked. We did not know there were forms we were supposed to fill out until after they were supposed to be turned in, so that process with our requests was rushed. Plus, we were told to put our requests on a website request system, but when we asked Tim about that, it appeared it wasn't anything he was aware of. Getting a hold of the owner, and getting details about when we would be able to talk to Tim and start working out details was a process. I had no problem with only working out details weeks or two before the wedding, but that I didn't know that it wouldn't be happening until just before those few weeks was frustrating. Similarly, I had no problem calling outside business hours to reach the owner, but knowing which hours would have been best to reach him would have been helpful, as would have been more options for those hours. All in all, Tim was awesome the night of, which was the most important thing to us, but service in the weeks and months leading up to the wedding could have been smoother.

Highly recommend Madison mobile Dj service! They Dj'd my wedding and were great to work with! They helped me through the whole process and kept everything simple! They worked with having my ceremony and reception in two different locations and made it no fuss! Marco was our DJ and had the dance floor filled all night long! Also did the Photo Booth which was a huge success! Definitely worth the money!

The music was nice. Good selection Extremely loud for such a small space. I found myself outside on more than one occasion so I could have a conversation. Not that big of a deal. Certainly, someone could have simply asked him to turn it down. The real issues I had came at introductions. The DJ introduced the couple as Mr. And Mrs. Houston. This would be fine if it was not a same sex couple. I know he met the couple. He also was present for the entire ceremony, so I'm not quite sure how it happened, but certainly disappointing for the brides. Finally, they had arranged for a photo booth. The photo booth was there. But unfortunately it was malfunctioning. The photos would not print. Instead, you could enter your email address and the photos would be emailed to us. That's a nice feature! But we never got an email with the photos. On the second issue, I know the bride was not refunded her money, despite not getting the service she was promised. In my opinion, you have a lot of options when selecting a DJ. The DJ I had at my wedding was fantastic... There are good DJs out there. Avoid this one.

I was excited to work with Travis, he was responsive, professional and his company had great reviews. Things started off well, he treated us to lunch and upgraded our DJ at no extra cost. Things became concerning about a month before the wedding. I hadn't been spoken to our DJ and knew nothing about him. I asked to be put in touch with the DJ. The DJ (Sean) called and knew nothing about my wedding. He was dismissive and told me that I needed to let him do his job and not micro-manage. I agree, he is the professional, but there are also logistics that need to be discussed. I expressed my concern to Travis and he said he doesn't usually put DJs in contact with brides until 7-10 days before the wedding. On June 26, I emailed again, expressing concern about the lack of communication with Sean. We were going to be married in 5 days and heard nothing from him. Travis had him contact me the next day. I had filled out everything on the website and scanned my wedding party info. Five days before my wedding and the DJ was not aware that it was a same-sex wedding, but we still gave the benefit of the doubt. Sean and I spoke for 20 min. where we loosely went over details and he asked for pronunciation of names. The ceremony was smooth. When it came time to announce the wedding party, nearly every name was announced wrong. Finally, when it came time to announce my wife and me, he said "Mr. and Mrs. Houston" we didn't enter, then he said "Husband and wife" we still didn't enter. It took my dad running to the DJ booth to remind him that he was at a lesbian wedding. Sean did not facilitate the wedding as I would have hoped, I wanted him to announce tables for dinner, I wanted him to facilitate speeches, he didn't. Perhaps this could have been ironed out had we met and spoke. Sean referred to my spouse as "Marie" all night, when her name is Maria. When I spoke to Travis about my issue, he responded that Sean told him right away about the mistake and because of his mistake, Sean really tried hard to rock the dance floor, but isn't this what I paid Sean to do? In terms of music, Sean did well. It was fun, lively and people enjoyed the dance floor. We also paid for a photo booth. Within 25 mins. of the reception starting, the photo booth stopped working. Only the first few people received their pictures. Each person was given the option of entering an email address for the picture to be sent, not ONE person received the email. According to Travis, my guests didn't check their junk mail (I personally did and never received). Travis printed two copies of each picture and emailed them to us in an album. 53 pictures were taken, the photo booth was hardly used because it was broken. Additionally, it is now my cost to mail people their pictures or the cost of my guests to pay to print them out. Finally, guests should have been able to sign next to their pictures, we didn't get that because the machine broke. When I expressed this to Travis and that I'd like a refund for a service I paid for that didn't work, Travis replied that he would refund me $100 for "the inconvenience of having to wait for photos to be mailed." I firmly believe this is unacceptable. We paid for a service and we didn't receive it. Finally, Travis informed me of all he did...10% discount for being a teacher, paid for our meal when we met and upgraded our DJ. These were nice gestures, but nothing we asked for. I responded to Travis' last email and he never reached out to me again.

Travis was very friendly and easy to work with. Cris was the DJ for our wedding and he was phenomenal. He is definitely not your average wedding DJ. Cris guided us through the whole event and was flexible and accommodating all day. He knew how to read the crowd and the dance floor was full literally the whole night. We had a ton of complements on the music and could not have been happier with Cris!!! Highly recommended!

We used Madison Mobile DJ for our wedding in June and were extremely happy with everything. Travis was very attentive and made sure we were happy throughout the evening. He even brought glow wands for our grand march! We would definitely recommend Travis and Madison Mobile DJ!

We worked with Travis and he was fabulous! I was always impressed how quickly he replied to questions. My fiancé and I are both not that into music so we didn't have a lot of suggestions, but Travis knows what he is doing and it turned out perfectly! He was on top of keeping things moving and on time, such as the wedding party being announced, speeches, etc. It made the evening that much less stressful for me. We were very impressed with the wonderful job they did!

Travis helped us set up our ceremony and provided the music and microphones and everything went perfectly. He also got every single person out on the dance floor for the first song along with getting everyone to pose for a picture for our photographer to take so we now have a picture of everyone who was at our wedding in one photo. Travis couldn't have been any nicer and was always making sure everything was going as we expected by checking in with us periodically. I would recommend him and Madison Mobile DJ to anyone!

Travis did not play one bad song. Not one stinker. He stuck to the questionnaire that he asked us to fill out. He kept the night moving along, and gave us guidance when needed on the big day. Everything ran smoothly on our wedding day and Travis was a big part of that. He is a true professional.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because you meet with the owner of the company-not necessarily your actual DJ, and he was difficult to set up a meeting with. Once we did that, however, this company was wonderful. Aaron Hodge was our DJ, and he was wonderful and very talented. He engaged the audience, was full of energy, and played everything we wanted. I would highly recommend him-and he came at a great price. The company comes before everyone and plays dinner music and stays until the last person leaves. It was wonderful to not have to pay someone by the hour or decide how many hours your reception will be months in advance. Overall, I'm happy I went with this company and would make the same choice again.

Travis did a great job with our outdoor ceremony music, cocktail/dinner music, and reception! Loved that we paid one flat price (plus we got a 10% discount for booking at the bridal show) for the ENTIRE day. The party went all night in thanks to our DJ.
