I can't echo the other reviews enough by saying Madison and her team was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. We worked with Madison leading up to our big day for her full service offering and then about a month out we worked with the amazing event producer, Laci McClelland. On a personal level, both of these professionals are the most kind, caring people you will ever meet which led us to trust them right away. From the moment my husband and I walked into Madison's office, we knew she and her team would listen to our wish list and know what our vibe was. And boy, we got the most amazing wedding due to them. Just from knowing us 30 minutes, every vendor Madison recommended, was a PERFECT fit for us. She has the best connections in the city and knows her industry and just absolutely crushes. It was so incredible to work with such amazing boss ladies in this wedding planning process, but moreso I feel I have gained lifelong friends with Madison and Laci. Madison Sanders Events really is the best!!

Wow. Madison and her team are absolutely AMAZING. When selecting a wedding planner, I asked my venue for a list of the best wedding planners and Madison was at the top of that list. I can honestly say I now know why. There are no words to actually express how great Madison and her team is. We found her about a year before our wedding wanting guidance on planning the most perfect wedding day. From that day on, we were in close contact and met frequently and emailed weekly. She worked along side me, my husband, and some close family members. She was incredibly patient and really listened to all of our differing opinions to make sure there was a compromise we all really loved. She got to know my husband and I and really listened to what we wanted, by doing this, it was rare we met with more than one vendor for each component of the wedding. Not only that, but she offered many suggestions and ideas that we had not thought about to make our day unique. Madison is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and more. She is someone you can trust with one of the most important days you may ever have. She is incredibly organized and I never had to worry about remembering a thing because she always did it for me. All the little details are taken care of. When wedding day rolled around, everything was perfect. I was not stressed at all, which I hear is rare for a bride. I knew we were in good hands. To this day I still don’t know if anything went wrong because everything was handled. She is the best decision I made while planning our wedding. I honestly think I love my wedding day as much as I do because I have nothing but fond memories of the whole thing, from planning until the end of wedding day. By the time wedding day was over it was kind of sad because I wasn't going to have planning sessions with her anymore. Her vibe is positive and being around her just makes you feel good. I recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or event.

Madison gave us the wedding of our dreams and more! I cannot say enough positive things about her/her team. I can honestly say I was able to 100% enjoy my wedding day and not worry about any small detail because she had everything under control. She is very intelligent/has many connections and can get you anything you want pretty much or something close to it! Anything we told her we wanted at the wedding- she made happen somehow. She worked really hard and I know for a fact that our wedding day would not have been as amazing if we did not have her as our planner!

Lindsay did an amazing job on March 10th for the wedding at Weston Red Barn Farm! Her pre-event communication was thorough, polite and took care of every detail in advance so that on wedding day, all of us vendors were well prepared and comfortable. Her team made the Timber Barn look so elegant and the decorations and layout made for beautiful photos. I highly recommend Lindsay Hernandez, the event producer with Madison Sanders.

Madison and her team were so amazing to work with. Their organization and attention to detail makes every dollar you spend worth it. Having Lindsey, one of the event managers take charge 6 weeks before my wedding was one of the best wedding decisions I made. It truly allowed me to focus on myself and to soak in and enjoy the last few weeks. Day of, she handled everything with grace, professionalism and while as an OCD bride tried to continue to worry about things, handed me a drink and told me to go have fun. I'm truly sad to no longer be working with these ladies. I promise you, it's worth every penny.

I have been involved in three MSE weddings in which Madison provided Full Service Planning & Design services. In my roles as sister of the bride, bridesmaid, and bride, I could not have been more impressed with her work. Madison is warm and genuine while getting the job done right the first time. She heard the dreams and values of all members involved in our wedding, and then turned them into a reality. Our time with Madison was efficient and productive, yet she somehow managed to provide hospitality that made us look forward to every bit of wedding planning! I sat down with Madison 6 weeks before the wedding and she not only walked me through every minute of our big day, but also every inch of the reception, including and what design elements would be included and how transitions would take place. Knowing this was all handled, I was able to be present with my loved ones on the wedding day and forget logistics entirely. Madison can truly do it all, and provides a classic, seamless, professional, and FUN experience for her clients. Couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Not only is Madison incredible at her job, she’s an angel to work with. From the moment my husband and I met with her at her adorable office, I knew I was in good hands. Madison listened to all my requests and created the most dreamy day! She is without a doubt the best of the best!

As soon as I met Madison, I knew she was *exactly* who I needed to help me with our wedding. From our very first meeting, she made me feel confident knowing that I was in great hands. Madison was thorough, organized and very so easy to communicate with. In my final meeting, we discussed every detail for wedding day and I left knowing that all I had to focus on was getting married and enjoying the day. We had the great pleasure of having Madison & Lindsey assist us with Event Planning for our wedding on 10/14. I cannot speak highly enough of Madison and her team. Madison Sanders is unlike any other planner I met with throughout this process. She is organized, thorough and created something above and beyond what I could ever imagine. Madi is the best decision I made throughout the wedding process. If I could do it over again I would with Madi in a heartbeat. Not only is she an extremely hard worker, she is just one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is so genuine and will work to make sure you get exactly what you are asking for. She also demands attention; people know Madi means business. The hardest part of the wedding being over is not having meetings with Madi! She is honestly just the greatest! When the question is asked, "What would you do differently on your wedding day?" My answer is an overwhelming NOTHING! Planning a large wedding in 4 months, I assumed many of my dreams would have to go in order to make it happen. I was wrong. Madison helped me put together my dream day - from helping me develop my dream to making sure I didn't have to sacrifice anything due to time, I couldn't have been more satisfied. Thorough, calm, collected, creative, and FUN, Madi will feel like part of your family after working with her. I recommend her to everyone I can! Anyone (Bride or Bride’s Mom) desperately seeking help to sort out all of the nuances of planning a Wedding need look no further than Madison Sanders! Madison was, first off, fun, creative and delightful to work with. She immediately instilled confidence, excitement and a grasp of the direction that my Daughter and I wanted to go! My Daughter, a lifelong KC resident, now living in Maine, wanted a hometown Barn Venue Wedding. We searched and found the Weston Timber Barn…. the perfect venue for the wedding of two veterinarians! Madison took off from there. The Bride-to- be had only one brief visit to KC 9 months before the wedding, so it was up to Madison, Pinterest, and Mom to fulfill her vision. Bit by bit the “Team “was assembled. Everyone included fulfilled their part and helped create an evening we will never forget as a now extended family. With the venue we chose, nearly every little thing needs to be planned, ordered, and brought on site. Madison orchestrated it all coordinating with the florist, the caterers, the photographer, the band, and folks providing the venue. She wove it all together perfectly. Given the beautiful weather and the full moon we had that night, one might be tempted to think she had an in with the weatherman, too! Bottom line is when our daughter entered the barn for pre-wedding photographs, her eyes lit up and a smile never left her face all evening. Mission Accomplished! As I reflect on wedding planning, one of my main thoughts (outside of omg, I’m married!) is that I basically want to BE Madison Sanders. She is so put together and you instantly know you are in good hands. She has so much experience and at the same time just “gets it” and doesn’t try to steer you in any directions that you wouldn’t want. She has impeccable taste. She is highly regarded in the industry and already had a relationship with our vendors. I had complete trust in her and it lifted so much stress off of me as she started taking things off my plate and quickly executing them. The groom felt the same way - his feedback was that the way she can command a room eloquently, gets everyone to move and listen effectively, but in a kind-hearted way that everyone respects. My parents appreciated her as well. I know she helped my dad put the finishing touches on executing the logistics of his speech. It let them relax and enjoy the day instead of having to worry about all the details that she had under control. If you are on the fence, go with Madison. You will not look back!

Madi is the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Period! No review will do her enough justice, but I’ll try. My husband and I were attempting to plan a wedding in Kansas City while we were both living in two separate other cities. What a challenge! But Madi handled it and us, seamlessly. Madi immediately connects with you, listens to you and is able to understand your unique vision/tastes/needs. She is fully dedicated to you and makes you feel like you are her priority and the only wedding she is planning. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease during the planning process. I got SO MANY compliments on how calm I was planning/day of and it was al because of Madi. She just has your back 100%. Madi is also incredibly consistent. I always knew she was going to be warm, timely and full of answers/solutions. She put together a top-notch team of KC vendors that impeccably catered to our wants/needs. She listens and helps you make decisions when you feel like you can’t. She stays on top of things so you don’t get behind or stressed out. Also her style is divine and her ideas contributed beautifully to our wedding – we got so many compliments on ideas that were solely Madi’s. And the day of? We did not stress at all. It is a long day and Madi just encouraged us to enjoy it and let her take care of the rest. She did exactly that and kept us on schedule while having the best time the entire day. I may be biased but we had the best wedding ever and it would not have been possible without Madi. I am so grateful to have found her. Madi is one of a kind. This Thank You/Review is beyond late but full of love for Madi and ALL she did to make our wedding day so perfect! From our first meeting I felt in such competent hands. I travel a lot so Madi’s help with vendor selection was everything!!! She was detailed, organized, easy to reach but most importantly she was honest -- especially when it came to finding our vendors. She kept our budget and vision in mind, always thinking ahead and asking those right questions during vendor meetings (questions that I would’ve never thought of!) Madi was truly wonderful to work with! She took care of last minute emergencies like finding a make-up artist 5 days before the wedding (!!!) but she also paid attention to the small things. After we sat down for the reception, she brought me a plate of hors d’oeurves when I told her I didn’t get to try the oysters and then later in the evening, she brought me my flats and a gin & tonic. (two life savers at the time!!) Our wedding day was so perfect, everything went as planned and if there were any hiccups on the day of the wedding I had no idea (and still don't). Let me start out by saying, if it weren't for Madi I am fairly confident that we would still be planning our wedding. My husband and I had no idea what we were doing! She kept us on track, on budget and stress free from day one. While in the planning process, she brought us ideas for venues that we would never have even heard of if she hadn't told us. Finding a venue in KC in Autumn is so difficult without someone like Madi. She pulled these marvelous vendors and locations out of her wedding planner hat that blew us away. Early on I would take her suggestions and maybe send back other ideas to see what she thought, but in the end we would always go with Madi's ideas! After awhile, if Madi suggested it, I wouldn't even question it- I knew she had the right idea! She's got wedding planning down to a science. We would have been lost without her, that is for sure. The day of our wedding, we had Loree running the show. I was a little nervous that Madi wasn't going to be there the day of since we had spent a year together planning! But Loree was calm and absolutely capable of executing our day. She kept us on schedule and was in constant communication with me, my husband and the moms (very important) so everyone would be confident in knowing what was happening. At our reception, a few people were without seats and Loree took control of the situation and found some chairs for the guests & everyone was happy! From day one with Madi to the day of with Loree, we were so pleased with MSE. We really would have been lost without them!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Madison! She was an absolute joy to work with and made all my wedding dreams come true! I was lucky enough to work with Madison at a wedding that I was in last year. After I met her, I knew immediately that she needed to plan and be apart of my wedding day!!! Madison is the best. She listened first, thought second and reacted last (if at all) to the many requests we had for Nikki's wedding. She made us feel like we were spending the right amount of money. She never judges and always has another solution or idea if the first one is too much. This young lady is a great negotiator. She has so many relationships with Kansas City vendors that they want to work with her and give her a discount. The months of planning were so much easier on me and my daughter's relationship. Madison was the planner for a wedding I photographer earlier this year. From our very first contact it was clear that Madison was a highly organized person who was going to do a great job. On the day of the wedding Madison and her team were nothing short of amazing. Their attention to detail and their ability to anticipate the couples as well as other vendors needs was extraordinary. I hired Madison for our month-of coordinator for our wedding on October 1, 2016 – and I firmly believe that she was the best spent money of our entire wedding. As my husband and I replayed the day the following morning, we continuously referenced how helpful and on-the-ball Madi was throughout the entire weekend. She is poised, professional, and detail-oriented. Madison and her team built out our weekend's schedule down the minute and cushioned the schedule with extra time so that we never felt rushed or under a time crunch. Madison Sanders Events was one of the best investments we made for our big day. Madi and her team were so much fun to work with, and they allowed our family and friends to truly enjoy the day. Madison is organized, detail oriented, professional, and overall awesome at what she does. Not only is Madison and her team exceptional wedding planners, they are enjoyable to work with. YOU MADE HER EVERY WISH COME TRUE A little less than a year ago, I must confess the idea of a wedding planner seemed an unnecessary expense. After all, how hard could it be to plan a wedding that was a year away? Let me tell you – there are not enough words to describe how frustrating those initial days were and that was only coordinating a date! Very, very quickly Madi eased the way. We utilized Madison Sanders full service wedding planning and the result was a day that not only will our daughter & son-in-law treasure, but our friends and family will be talking about for many years to come. Madi & her accomplished team met with “the kids” and learned their likes, dislikes, food, music, color & general style preferences and the ever present BUDGET! Every vendor proposed and subsequently utilized was terrific. The venue, caterers, cake bakery, florist, DJ, videographer all delivered a perfect day. Our coordinator for the Rehearsal & Wedding Day was Lorie. She was everywhere. Lorie answered every question, fulfilled every request and quietly, in an unassuming way, kept us on a very relaxed scheduled. Lorie even sought me out as the couple was preparing to make their way to the Rolls Royce to whisk them to their hotel. She guided me to the elevator and gave me directions how to get to the car without having to make my way through the crowd. No detail was overlooked. There was no stress. The entire process was a resounding success and I would recommend Madison Sanders to anyone. There is no way for me to thank the team for helping the dreams and visions of my daughter (& son-in-law, too) for their wedding be realized in such a beautiful and creative way.

I cannot say enough good things about Madi. We hired Madi after encountering some communication issues with our venue. She was nothing but professional, kind, attentive and focused when working with us. I have an affinity for having control and planning things out with much attention to detail. Madi was perfect for me because I knew that she would execute everything just as I would if I weren't busy trying to relax and enjoy the day as the bride. Madi helped keep me calm when I had a vendor fall ill only one week before our wedding day. Madi is an absolute dream. We had her for our month of coordination, so I was able to hand over as much (or as little) to her those last few weeks. Madi made sure that any little issue was handled and was there working so hard with her team late into the night. My vendors all love working with her, which made me happy and feel even more trusting in her. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to my friends getting married in Kansas City. Madi has a very calming presence that is accompanied by an aura that assures you that the job will be done completely and perfectly. Madi would answer my late night texts as soon as she humanly could (I keep weird hours with a strange work schedule) and had great advice on things that I may not have thought of being a first time bride with no wedding experience. All of my vendors were amazing, and Madi was no exception. She helped keep things moving the day of, intervened when I had a minor "wardrobe malfunction", and worked hard to make sure that our wedding was everything we had hoped for and more.

Best Decision I ever Made - As the mother of the bride hiring Madi was the best decision I made. She was so thorough and so organized that she made it easy for me and my daughter. She listened to what we wanted and guided and offered ideas but made sure that my daughters vision was fulfilled. Madi was fun to work with, she met with us throughout the process, scheduled meetings with the vendors and did everything that needed to be done to PERFECTION!! I am thrilled to recommend Madi to anyone who is going through this process. I was able to enjoy the day without worrying about anything. The best decision I made and worth every cent. My guests and family raved about Madi. She was always 10 steps ahead of us and was ON IT!! She's the best and through this process has become our friend and family. She made my daughter's day so perfect. We couldn't have done it without her.

I am so thankful to have worked with Madi and her team for our big day. When my husband and I can look back at our wedding day, and we cannot think of a single thing that was out of place, went wrong, or stressed us out… that is when you know your wedding planner was a rock star!!! We used MSE for the month of planning services, because I couldn’t quite talk my mother into the total coordination package. Both my husband and i were so thankful for Madi and her work. We used MSE for her month of planning services, as i did majority of the planning and sourcing to bring my vision to life; however, it could have NEVER been executed to perfection without Madi. Having several meetings the month of - she really nailed down a plan and (to my surprise) everything was on target the day of! Everything went off with no issues, she was there to ensure everyone was where they should be and all the vendors were taken care of. We had several shipments that i was responsible for that she took off my plate, packaged everything up at the end of the night and had them ready to be shipped back to the supplier! It was the easiest transition at the end of the night, and i dont know what i would have done without her (probably still be at the reception hall packing things up). Even my vendors were telling me how they loved her organization and her timing with everything laid out for them. It certainly goes a long way on crazy days like a wedding day. Madi is so amazingly talented and I am SO thankful I had her by my side on what could have been a very stressful day. I used Madi for 6 weeks out, plus rehearsal and it was all so worth it! I was starting to stress out about all the little details about a month before the wedding, but that's right when Madi came in and kept me calm. I always thought I would be nervous on the big day, but Madi made sure everything was taken care and I didn't have to worry about a single thing- which is exactly how every bride should feel! She did everything I expected and more. She even went and picked up sandwiches for the bridesmaids and I before the ceremony. I mean talk about exceptional service! I would recommend Madi to everyone and still am so thankful I was referred to her. I am amazed at how talented she is and how she is VERY personable! As a groom, I thought I would leave a majority of the wedding planning to my bride... I quickly learned that there are many options, questions, and scenarios to think through. To make the wedding experience mutually enjoyable, I also learned that a high quality wedding planner is a must. Madison Sanders was exactly that. She was an integral part of the day and was amazingly their for us at every turn. She has a unique way to put people at ease and has back up plans for back up plans. I remain extremely impressed and very grateful for her amazing leadership and assistance. 2 months after our ceremony, family and friends are still coming up to me and my wife paying compliments with regards to our ceremony and reception. Truly a great time was had by all who attended and we have Madi to thank for helping us create a memory that will last a lifetime. Thanks Madi! You're simply the best!

Where do I begin.... I would like to give 6 stars if I could. We had the best experience with Madi. We planned our Lawrence, KS wedding from New York City and did extensive research before we hired a full time wedding planner. Madi was by far the best and over delivered on our expectations. She lead every meeting with professionalism and true dedication even if it was to discuss the color of the chairs for our reception :). She provided us with timelines and suggestions for every piece to the puzzle. Madi put final touches on elements of our wedding I wouldn't have even thought of and our guests could not stop talking about how amazing everything looked. She literally did everything...even drove my grandmother to the ceremony in the golf cart! I felt calm and at ease knowing she was leading the charge on the biggest day of our lives. She was an 11 on a scale of 1-10: When we first met with Madi, we knew right away there was a great connection & we had to hire her right away to get all of our wedding details planned perfectly. There is a lot of stress involved in planning a big wedding (300+ guests) but she helped us get organized quickly & stayed on our vendors to make sure they were on time and ready for our big day. She was our “wingman” throughout the wedding day all the way until the last guest left our dance floor. She was working non-stop for us for 12+ hours the entire day of our wedding. I cannot say enough positive things about Madi! I just got married a few weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about how wonderful the whole day was and how perfect all the little details came together! Madi was a huge part of that, and I am so thankful she was my planner! I'll admit that at first I was a little hesitant about hiring a full time planner. My wedding was something I had been looking forward to planning for a long time now, and I was afraid hiring a planner would take away some of the planning process from me and I wouldn't be able to be as hands on. From our initial phone call, Madi was quick to assure me that wouldn't be the case. She was right! She took care of all the less fun stuff--researching venders, making phone calls, emailing about questions, etc.--and I still got to be super involved all decisions and choices. For example, when it was time for us to pick out our caterer, she reached out to specific caterers she knew were in our price range and could also deliver our vision, then once she had gathered quotes and sample menus, she then passed the information along to us. All we had to do was compare the caterers and choose which one we preferred, knowing that no matter which one we chose, they were a trusted vender, and one that would deliver what we wanted. In other words, having Madi on board really reduced all the stress and hard work, so my wedding planning process could actually be focused on the fun stuff. Right away after my first meeting with Madi, I could tell I could trust her with planning my wedding. She is extremely enthusiastic, organized, stylish, and personable. This first impression was so true to who she is, and everyone that met her along the way agreed with me. In fact, many of my friends and family that met her at the rehearsal and wedding have raved to me about how impressed they were with her and how much they loved having her around. I can tell that every vender she works with feels the same way, as they all shared positive remarks about her too. She is definitely well connected with many venders in the area, as she had many venders to recommend to us throughout our process, as well as many venders I see her working with on other projects. I am so thankful we hired Madi. She totally saw my vision from the start, and was able to lead me to all the venders and decisions that would execute that vision. She kept me sane and de-stressed with her incredibly calming and confident demeanor. I would definitely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or any event. I actually hope we have another excuse to use her in the future because I will miss my meetings with Madi!

When I first met Madi at our initial meeting, I knew right away I wanted to hire her as my wedding planner. She was so personable and genuine right off the bat. I honestly felt like we had known each other for years by how comfortable she made me feel! I hired Madi as our month-of coordinator and still to this day my parents and I talk about how it was the best vendor we spent money on for the wedding. From her organization skills to problem solving to go get em' attitude, that last month leading up to the wedding felt a lot less stressful (and trust me, it got extremely stressful but I always knew Madi was there to help out and she definitely did). In addition to my family absolutely loving Madi, my bridesmaids loved her just as much, making comments on how detailed oriented she was and at the same time keeping her poise in what can be a super stressful day. My husband and I can't thank Madi enough for being a part and helping us out on one of the biggest days of our lives and I'm for certain that the day would not have gone the way it did without her!

Madi was such a helpful planner! She is very attentive to details and has great connections for vendors. I love that she really got my style and was able to help me when even I did not know what I wanted. It helped to have her through the whole process so every piece of the wedding ceremony and reception could run just as smoothly and lovely as my husband and I desired.

I'll be the first to admit, wedding planning did not turn out to be anywhere near the girly fun I had imagined. I had the venue double-book on me, vendors that charged nearly 200% over the quoted estimate, and family drama out the wazoo. However, Madi was literally my savior!!! Once she stepped in everything seemed manageable, as she was incredibly organized, knowledgeable, professional, and a consistent breath of fresh air. She has this ability to put people at ease right away and knows how to get friends & family on the same page in a controlled and organized manner without ever coming off as anything but pleasant. A perfect example of how legit Madi truly is, was how she handled the glaring snafu that was our wedding rehearsal. I kid you not, our church wrote our rehearsal time down wrong and we didn't find out until the day before! Madi actually caught the mistake while conducting a routine check with all of our vendors, because she's that on top of things. Then, knowing that I was already a mess, she identified a solution, notified our rehearsal dinner vendors and our priest, put the new plan into motion, and called to let me know about the problem after she had ALREADY SOLVED IT!!! [cue angels singing]. To top it off, she even called my mother-in-law to get her up-to-speed on the whole situation and shielded me from having to inform anyone of the aggravating mistake. The immense amount of trials and tribulations I had experienced throughout the planning process before I hired Madi had turned me into a total Debbie Downer, but Madi's magical powers and true passion for this business got me excited for the big event and able to focus on what truly mattered. Regardless of all the issues I experienced with my wedding, my biggest mistake was not hiring Madi sooner. She is a Godsend. :)

We hired Madi for our wedding last October, and it was the best decision we ever made. She is extremely organized, detail-oriented, kind and totally fun to work with. She took care of every little detail leading up to the day and the day of our wedding. We didn't have to worry about anything as far as logistics, decorating, vendor coordination - we just relaxed and enjoyed the day! Not only is she a professional business owner, but she is extremely creative with amazing interior design and decorating skills. Of all the difficult decisions my husband and I made throughout the wedding planning process, one of the best was to work with Madi Sanders. After the first few weeks of our engagement flew by, the excitement started to be overshadowed by the daunting task of organizing all finer details. Like most couples, we hoped for a stress free and fun process, despite the fact we were living more than three hours away from our hometown and the site of our wedding. After the first meeting, our worries quickly disappeared and we realized having Madi on our side would make our dream wedding possible. We were so fortunate and thankful for her enthusiasm, patience, and ability to keep us focused on the big picture. Madi provided such amazing support for my mom when I couldn’t be there with her, and made herself readily available to go to appointments and meetings when I was not able to make it back to Kansas City. Madi was always just an email or phone call away if we had any questions or concerns. It was such an advantage to be able to pick her brain before meetings with vendors so we always knew the right questions to ask. Madi has amazing connections in the Kansas City area, was always able to recommend the perfect vendors for us, and most importantly, find ones that fit within our budget. With all that being said, we never fully realized Madi’s true value until the big day arrived and the stressful situations went into overdrive. No one’s big day will ever be exactly the same, and you cannot predict what, if anything, will not go according to plan. Our wedding day was no different, but Madi was always there for us, even at times we didn’t know we needed her. She was always the perfect balance of assertive yet sweet, and always kept her composure. We truly did not know what Madi would mean to the success of our event until we got through it and had time to reflect on the whirlwind of activity we had just been through. Trust me when I say Madi lives up to the hype.

As I prepared to plan a KC wedding from out of town, I hired Madi for full-service planning and it was the best, best, BEST decision I made (besides picking my husband, obvs). I had a very, very clear vision for my wedding: contemporary, clean, glamorous, and unlike any wedding anyone has ever seen, heard about or read about. A tall order, for sure -- but Madi NAILED it. Look, half the wedding planning process is sending emails, researching, asking questions, etc. Madi did all that for me. And not only that, but she listened to every single wish I had and made it happen within my budget. She's super well-connected on the wedding scene in KC, so she always knew the perfect vendor to bring forward to make the vision come to life - and spared me hours of research and interviews and worry. 9 foot tall ombre flower wall? Done. Huge custom GOBO? Sure. Projecting the Royals game on the wall? She did it. She stayed on the phone with me late into the night when I was second-guessing my venue decision. She made sure all our vendors did what they said they'd do - and spoke up for us when she knew something wasn't right. She's professional, organized, and cares deeply about her work. More than that, though, Madi was just a beautiful energy to have around during one of the most stressful periods of my life. She is relentlessly positive and reassuring, and my groom and I grew super close to her over our 10 months of planning -- and saying goodbye to her was the saddest part of our wedding day.

I got engaged in October 2013 and only 4 days after, we explored Wedding Planners. After our first meeting with Madi at a near by Starbucks, I KNEW we had to have her as a part of our day. We hired her a full service Wedding Planner who would eventually make all of our a dream a reality in September 2014. 

Madi holds herself in a professional, friendly, and "go-getter" kind of way that completely sold me! I'm certain that Madi is the reason that planning my wedding was the most amazing experience of all. My mom and I loved meeting with her throughout the process and listening to her ideas, suggestions, all while putting our own personalization on things. No dream is too small, and no idea is undoable. Madi literally brought my pinterest board to life all while staying within budget friendly numbers and being a sound board for what is more important along the way. 

Having Madi as a part of the process made it enjoyable for myself, my parents, and even my husband. She did everything, from scheduling appointments, gathering quotes from vendors, all with our vision in mind. If I felt stuck, she had an idea. If I had an idea, she knew just the perfect spin to include it in our day. She let me dream big, without going overboard with numbers. She was an amazing resource for questions for first time brides and her charming, knowledgeable personality made it so easy for me to trust her 100% for our day. We just clicked and made me feel so at ease with the whole process so that I was able to focus and enjoy the important things, like spending get last few months as a Miss, not spending nights DIYing, and putting my energy into Bridal Showers and Bachelorette Weekends. I never once felt the stress of being a "bride" and I seriously owe it all to Madi and her hardworking, kind, and patient work ethic. 

To top it off, I enjoyed meeting new vendors through Madi that had an amazing vision so I may not have found without using Madi. We have been put in touch with other vendors, who we will continue to use throughout our journey as husband and wife. If you're a bride and on the fence, HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER. It'll be the best spent money of the wedding. After all, the only happens once and a lifetime. I'm so thankful and blessed that we had Madi be apart of our picture perfect day.
