Alyssa at Mae Photo Co is an incredible photographer, and I would recommend her highly! From the start, she was excellent. We had a shorter engagement, so she promptly scheduled ou...
r engagement shoot once we booked her - and the photos turned out amazing! She also met with us far in advance to plan the timeline for the day, and she was excellent with communication leading up to the big day. On the wedding day, she arrived on-time with her second shooter and got started on the photos! She was independent and got tons of candid photos without being asked. She was so upbeat and encouraging and made everything seem effortless. She was so fun to photograph with and make us feel super comfortable - even my husband thought so! Our preview photos were sent to us within a couple days of the wedding, and they turned out INCREDIBLE. I am so excited to see more of the photos, which should be within a month of the wedding date, per communication I've received from Alyssa. In summary, I am so so so pleased with Alyssa's work, and I am so glad I booked her for my wedding! She is kind, trustworthy and remarkably talented!
Alyssa is absolutely the best! She had previously photographed my friends/coworkers weddings/family photos and I loved how beautiful and bright their pictures were! After contactin...
g Alyssa she offered to meet in person so we could chat about packages and prices and she even helped me develop a timeline for the wedding day! Alyssa did our engagement and wedding pictures and she made the whole process feel laid back, fun, and comfortable. Alyssa has also created photo albums for us and I can't thank her enough for being so kind and personable not only to us, but to our families and friends as well! If I could give her more than 5 stars I totally would she has such a great way at capturing moments!
Alyssa's photography is fantastic. She was such a joy to work with throughout our wedding weekend. She and Chrissy beautifully captured the weekend and provided us with an amazing ...
catalog of cherished memories.
Alyssa's infectious smile and radiant personality made the wedding day photo sessions so much fun. Alyssa was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, and she took the time to meet with us in person before the wedding to develop a relationship.
I cannot recommend Alyssa highly enough!
Alyssa just shot our wedding last week and we had so much fun working with her. I didn't even notice her and her 2nd shooter as I was fully able to immerse myself in the day-- know...
ing that she was documenting every moment for us. We got our sneak peaks back 2 days later, and they are the more beautiful than I remember. It is really hard to capture in photo something that is better than the event itself. Every detail of my wedding was noted and preserved forever. I love re-living our day through her photos.
Just had our engagement session last month and our full album back to us this week :) I'm very impressed with her timeliness. Her photos are seriously art, and she's so fun and car...
ing to work with.
She had never been to our location before but she delivered us stunning photos straight out of a magazine!
Her attention to detail is outstanding, and she was always checking in on me to see if I needed help tying a bow, putting on my shoes, or getting into my outfits. She went above and beyond for us!
I have known Alyssa for quite a while now with her having photographed many of my bridal clients and doing a few styled shoots together. I knew from day one Alyssa was who I wanted...
to book. Out of all the weddings I have done her photos are always very classic and timeless. Her photography style is very crisp, clean, bright, and perfect in color. She KNOWS color...(Not too dark/moody and not too washed out)
We got rained out for our first engagement shoot and she worked to reschedule us to get us some more golden hour photos. Honestly, the photos from the rainy day STILL turned out well. I knew from that day no matter the weather on the wedding day we would receive great photos. I love all the preview photos we have received so far.
Having Alyssa as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made. She was willing to meet with me just to chat and get to know each other before deciding to “hire” her. Her ...
personality made us feel super comfortable when taking pictures. She had plenty of ideas and poses for us to try. We got so many comments from our wedding party and family about how great she was on the day. We were also super happy with how the pictures turned out. Lastly, we had to make a lot of changes due to COVID, and she was there every step of the way, always willing to chat or try to come up with some new ideas. We are so so grateful we got to have Alyssa help us document the memories of our wedding day!
I have nothing but excellent things to say about Alyssa. When COVID hit and my husband and I needed to totally change our wedding plans, Alyssa with Mae Photo Co. seriously saved t...
he day. After we cut our guest list from 120 to 20 guests, she helped us find a new venue for our intimate ceremony and reception, which ended up more beautiful than our original venue! She met with me over coffee and over the phone several times to work out the details for the day-of schedule and to reassure me that the day was going to be perfect...and it was! She makes you feel so comfortable during the engagement session and on your wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she kept things going smoothly and never missed a single detail of the day. She is so professional, truly cares about her clients, and her pictures are beyond amazing. She captured our special day perfectly. Hire Alyssa, you won't regret it!
Hiring Alyssa was the best decision we made for our wedding (besides getting married, of course🙃). She was incredibly helpful every step of the way - even when covid threw a wrenc...
h in all our wedding plans. She was willing to let me vent to her, and she was flexible when we changed plans. On our big day, she kept track of the timeline, bridal party, families, vendors, photo lists and everything else, all while making us feel calm and happy. She knows all the great photo spots in West Michigan, which was nice we didn't have to think about that at all. She was so much fun to be with all day, as was her second shooter, and she was such a pro at telling us how to pose (this was something I was a little nervous about!). Oh, and the photos turned out incredible!
Alyssa was PERFECT for our intimate ceremony. She captured so many beautiful shots, it’s difficult to even select a favorite! Her attention to the details and making us feel comfor...
table made the entire experience amazing. Could not recommend Mae Photo more!
We had Alyssa (Mae Photo Co) photograph our engagement and wedding day and could not be happier. She was awesome to work with and both absolutely love her timeless style! From our ...
initial communication to our special day we felt so comfortable working with her. She even gave us hand warmers during our chilly engagement session and brought us umbrellas for our rainy wedding. Every sweet gesture emphasized her friendly personality and made our day that much more special. Alyssa knew exactly how to capture each memory and braved the cold rain to get the most incredible shots. She provided beautiful high quality pictures in a short amount of time and gave us a little sneak peak within a day. All of her photos are literally magazine worthy! We will definitely be repeat customers and highly recommend using her for any of your photography needs.
Alyssa is more than amazing to work with. She was extremely helpful is navigating the wedding day timeline as well as keeping us on schedule throughout the day. After every convers...
ation we had leading up to the wedding I had all the confidence in the world that we would have stunning photos. We were blown away with our engagement photos and then when we saw the wedding photos I couldn't believe how beautiful every image turned out. Looking through the photos took us back to our wedding day. The unique perspective she used to capture our detail photos was wonderful. I want to display every photo. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received on the photos. Not only are her images flawless but she makes you feel so confident and comfortable. She is genuinely a wonderful, kind person and her passion shines through in her photos. We loved working with her and can honestly say we are more than blown away by her skills. We cannot wait to have Alyssa capture more of our life events in the future. We promise you will not be disappointed with working with her.
Alyssa of Mae Photo Co. is wonderful. She takes beautiful photos and she is lovely person to have be a part of your day.

fortable and loving atmosphere for us. Her communication and suggestions throughout the planning process were so appreciated, especially since I was planning my wedding from out of town! We just got our wedding pictures back last week I could not be happier with them! Her photos are amazing paintings of light, and she is a true artist. Not only will you end your wedding with stunning photos to last a lifetime, you will leave with a new friend! I wholeheartedly recommend Alyssa to any bride-to-be!
