Maeion did all of the make-up and hair for my wedding this past June. She and her assistant made me and my bridal party of 3 look absolutely beautiful!!
Leading up to the wedding...
she offered me a variety of "looks" I could choose from, and let me know she valued my input. She worked with me to create something I was happy with and used her expertise to really make it stand-out. I opted for a more natural look but I have no doubt she can glam it up when needed.
The day-of she was calm and professional and helped me relax and enjoy the process. She worked with me and three of my close family/friends who were all as impressed as I was. She managed her time very well and had an awesome playlist :) You can tell that she is extremely professional and dedicated to her craft. I felt the whole time that I was in excellent hands, and I have been getting nothing but compliments about my hair and make-up from all of my wedding guests. I would absolutely recommend her without any reservations!!
Maeion is a makeup artist who understands her clients and creates magic. The bride and mother of the bride, and most of the bridesmaids, had never had their makeup professionally d...
one, and we wanted an elegant but natural look. Maeion got that perfectly, and made the process fun as well. She is punctual, responsive, cheerful, and experienced with weddings as well as television. Her work with PBS Newshour underscores her ability to merge elegant with serious. Our logistics were complicated (multiple locations day of the wedding, including Georgetown, where parking is challenging). But Maeion planned ahead and the beauty van became a place to get beautiful, refresh, reflect, and chat about life. Maeion introduced us to fake eyelashes, and as a contact lens wearer, I was skeptical. But just as she predicted, they only took 10 minutes to get used to, and they make a huge difference in photos. It is a joy to recommend Maeion!
