Little did I know that I would fall in love with the beauty industry and it would become my true passion. I have been blessed to work in some of the most successful salons, spas and medical spas in the NJ/NYC area, providing me with the knowledge and experience that has allowed me to create the timeless classic styling that I am known for.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Magda and her team! From the moment they arrived on my wedding morning, they brought such a calm, fun, and positive energy. I had a wonderful experience working with Magda at my wedding. Not only did she do an amazing job on my hair and makeup, but she also was such a kind and friendly person to work with. She made me feel like a model and it was just like working with a close family friend. My bridal party said the same thing too. I was abley to schedule in some hydro facials with her too which was a great pre-wedding treat. She is worth every penny and then some.

I had a wonderful experience with Magda and HIGHLY recommend her! She is extremely talented, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and also just a lovely person to be around. My ideal aesthetic was to look natural but elevated, and she achieved this and more. She and her team did hair and makeup for the bride, bridesmaids, and MOB/MOG. Everyone looked so beautiful! I think it is 1000% worth it to also pay for bride touch ups throughout the day - Magda touched me up several times and made me feel so beautiful! We all really enjoyed getting to know her and her team as well. I am so grateful that she made us all feel so beautiful on my special day. I recommend her very highly!

Magda and Shqipojne were incredible for my wedding day makeup look! They really took time with each bridesmaid to make sure they understood what they wanted, and personalize each look. They were not only incredible at makeup, they were also easygoing and made the day fun! During my trial, Magda took time to go through inspiration pictures, and help make sure I was happy with the end result, as well as talk me through skin care leading up to the wedding. On the big day, she was flexible and ended up staying later than originally asked to make sure everything was good to go following the ceremony. I would HIGHLY recommend her and her team for any event - they truly knocked it out of the park!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Using Magda for my wedding day hair and makeup was a no-brainer. I first met her back in high school when I'd get facials for problem skin. Throughout the years, i've followed her to different Drs. offices for various skin treatments and have used her for hair and makeup for birthdays, weddings. When I came time for my special day, I had her do hair and makeup for me, my mom and sister. Everyone looked incredible. Not to mention, my husband and I had a boating mishap and fell into a lake...MY MAKEUP DID NOT MOVE. I always joke and say she is the only person I will ever let touch my face, but it's true. She's amazing and its not just about makeup for her, it's about your skin as well.

You will LOVE the way you look!! I wanted to look glam in a natural way and Magda nailed it! She made me look like the very best version of myself. Not only did my makeup look beautiful but it lasted ALL NIGHT (absolutely no touch ups were needed). Magda made me feel incredibly beautiful on my wedding day, and I feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her! Feeling like “me” was so important to me on my wedding day, and she was able to elevate my look while still making me look like myself. I was so sad when I had to wash off my makeup and undo my hair after the wedding! Magda is super friendly and personable, which helped keep me and the other ladies getting ready with me calm and upbeat. She and Stephanie also did the hair and makeup for my mom, mothers-in-law, and sister-in-law, and they all looked absolutely stunning. We all got SO many compliments on our hair and makeup not just on the wedding day, but for weeks afterward, too! Magda did my makeup as well as my mother’s and some of my bridesmaids’ makeup for my May 2021 wedding and looking back at the pictures I could not be happier with her work. She is a true professional, talented and so knowledgeable about skin care and makeup application. As someone who does not wear makeup on a regular basis, it was so important to me to look beautiful but natural and like myself on my wedding day and Magda pulled the look off. She truly listens to you and her pricing and contract are reasonable and straightforward. My mother and bridesmaids only had positive reviews of Magda’s work, and everyone looked so beautiful because of her. She has a great energy, is down to earth, and is open to feedback. Her calm demeanor was much appreciated as we all scrambled to get ready the morning of the wedding. I highly recommend Magda Designs for your wedding day! After several COVID twists and turns, and having to significantly downsize our wedding, Magda came to the rescue and put me at such ease. She asked great questions, understood my vision, and addressed all my concerns about safety precautions. On the day of the wedding, Magda and Stephanie were so attentive to exactly what my ladies wanted and got along beautifully with my family and wedding party. We had so much fun! Everyone felt pampered and amazing. We also finished early. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed beautifully all day, even wearing masks on and off throughout the day, and taking pictures on the beach. Everything about my experience with Magda was amazing. She went above and beyond to accommodate me when my June wedding was postponed due to covid and converted into a micro wedding in August. My makeup was perfect for the occasion of a micro wedding and lasted the entire day. I can’t wait for her to do my makeup again for my big wedding in June. She is the best!

My sister used Magda for hair and make up for her COVID mini-money and will be using her for the big wedding day and all I can say is that she is amazing. The makeup looked untouched by the end of the night and felt super light on my skin. Magda was super professional and respectful of the COVID restrictions / guidelines. Made us feel safe and normal! My wedding was during the pandemic, and we didn't want to reschedule as my husband and I didn't want to wait any longer. My original hair and makeup girl didn't feel comfortable working on my hair (due to the pandemic) and Magda came recommended to me by an owner of a bridal boutique. I didn't know much about her at the time and just took a chance. And I hit the jackpot with Magda!!! She was very good at communicating with me from the start. I didn't have enough time to have a "trial" as I found her last minute, but I didn't need it. I gave her an idea of what I was thinking of and I am so happy with the outcome. My makeup and hair were FLAWLESS! Not only is Magda very talented but she is very nice, thoughtful, and had a good energy. I highly recommend her!!!!! Magda was absolutely wonderful. She came with her assistant Stephanie and I had a full wedding party for them both (6 bridesmaids, my mom and myself) and they did an absolute amazing job with everyone! She started at around 10:30 and we finished around 3:00. She stayed true to her schedule and her pricing are fair. I had a trial with her earlier in the year and this really helped as she got to learn my style and was able to portray this into my wedding day hair and makeup so it was one less stress to worry about. If you haven't booked her, you should stop whatever you are doing and get a hold of her NOW - she will not disappoint. Magda did my makeup and Stephanie did my hair for my wedding day and I felt flawless!! I hardly wear makeup and am not used to the way it looks on me all the time but Magda does a stunning all natural look. She takes her time and has an incredible eye for design. Stephanie is a genius when it comes to hair. On the day of my trial I told Stephanie what I wanted and she created the look for me. Then she asked if she could try something and tweaked the style a little bit. She made it 10 times better and that was my perfect wedding hair! I also had 7 bridesmaids that requested different hairstyles and makeup and they all looked so beautiful and loved their looks. On top of this, Magda and Stephanie are just great people and it was so nice to have their calming energy in the bridal suite. They are both extremely talented and I look forward to working with them for any other time I need to get glammed up! (hoping it's soon!!!)

I cannot express say how amazing Magda was, from the trial through to the day of the wedding. In addition to being amazing with the hair and makeup at the trial, she became my aesthetician and helped my skin get to a place when I felt effortlessly beautiful and glowing. Our personalities instantly clicked and her willingness to help and communicate with me from day 1 immediately won me over. I didn’t even have to go to any other trials because I knew she was the right fit for me and booked her right at the trial and I don’t regret it for one second! Magda did hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my sisters for my wedding day. I've been in a lot of weddings and have had my hair and makeup done many times before, and can absolutely without hesitation say Magda did a fabulous job, much better job that anyone else I have worked with. My mom was so transformed that the photographer didn't even recognize her from before to after hair and makeup. Magda listened to what I wanted, helped me interpret that for a look that worked with my dress, and was very flexible to my feedback (including doing a second trial when I wanted to try adjusting my hair.) The best part though is everyone not only looked amazing, but also looked totally natural. The makeup looked as good up close as it did for the camera. She is also friendly, fun, and an awesome addition to the bridal suite for the day of the wedding.

Truly 5 star in every category. I had 4 hair trials before I selected Magda. Needless to say I am picky about hair. Magda was able to perfectly recreate the natural, yet elegant, down style I was looking for that I was having trouble finding with anyone else. My hair looked soft and finished, and my 3 bridesmaids looked perfect as well. Magda was so calming and organized the day of the wedding. There was never a minute I felt rushed. She had used her time so well, we even had time to do a style for Mom (which also looked perfect) that we hadn't planned for. I have been in many weddings. The speed that Magda is able to work with achieving the level of quality she does shows how well she knows what she is doing and this is exactly what you need the day of your wedding, a professional. She also was able to give me a few tips about how I needed to prepare my hair leading up the wedding. I am so happy I chose Madga for my day. I cannot thank you enough Madga!

My bridesmaids and I were thrilled with how natural and beautiful Magda and her team were able to make us look for my wedding! We loved their ability to make everyone's natural hair (ranging from curly to straight, thick to thin) each look gorgeous and special. Magda and team were an absolute pleasure! We had to start getting ready at 6AM, so not only did they have to be there at the crack of dawn, but they managed to be so professional and relaxed while we were all exhausted and stressed — they totally brought good vibes for us all. Magda is the absolute best! She was the makeup artist at my sister's wedding and when I got engaged, one of the first things I did for wedding planning was to email her and reserve the date! I didn't need a consultation or a second thought - she is an absolute MUST for any bride wanting to look their best on their wedding day! Magda is simply incredible. She worked with me and 11 other women the day of my wedding & both the hair and make up came out beautifully! Everyone looked gorgeous and yet very natural still. I met Magda when I did my trial and she was so nice and personable and made me feel very comfortable. She listened to everything I had to say and she got my look exactly right. Then for the actual wedding, I decided on an updo last minute and it was no problem for her! I felt gorgeous and she and her team couldn't have been nicer. We had a lot of women to get ready-8 bridesmaids, myself, mother-in-law, mom, and aunt. They ran the timing perfectly & made everyone feel beautiful. I highly recommend Magda and her team!!

Simply FABULOUS!!! Magda and her team did such a wonderful job with everyone's hair and makeup. The mothers of the bride and groom, the bridesmaids, and I were THRILLED with our makeup. Magda does a great job of listening to exactly what each individual wants. It was a hot muggy day and I was so worried about my makeup smearing or looking greasy- and the makeup held up throughout the ENTIRE night. We seriously looked like movie stars. Her background in skincare really allows her to leverage her knowledge in skincare and beauty to make her clients look spectacular. AMAZING AMAZING WORK!! Magda came to my home and did a trial run TWICE because I didn't really know what I was looking for the first time and didn't love it. She listened to what I didn't like and the second trial was PERFECT. Come wedding day she was a fun addition to the bridal party getting ready and my makeup was PERFECT!!!!! I booked Magda for my wedding day and I could not have been happier with how my hair and makeup came out! I am not usually one to wear makeup and Magda's natural and soft makeup looks are the reason I reached out to her. She came to my house for a trial, and we went through multiple options for my big day. She was patient and attentive and I never felt rushed. We finalized a look, but as the wedding drew closer I began to change my mind about how I wanted my makeup to look. I was nervous about how the changes I requested would look, but Magda absolutely blew me away! She was accommodating and when I explained what I wanted to change since our trial she listened to exactly what I wanted and it came out better than I ever imagined. She was a pleasure to work with and was so knowledgeable about her craft. She also did makeup and hair for my bridesmaid, mother, and mother-in-law, and everyone loved their looks. They all requested different styles of hair and makeup and Magda was able to pull it off with ease. Everyone's makeup and hair looked flawless throughout the entire night. Magda made me feel like a princess on my wedding day and I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Magda and her team are the best! I was so indecisive with my hair and makeup and she was SO patient with me throughout the process and on the day of my wedding. As a bride, I was so glad that I didn't have to worry about how my end result would look...I knew it would be the perfect balance of "done" and natural. Some makeup artists told me my wedding makeup has to be super dramatic for the pictures, but I was so uncomfortable with how I looked in real life! Ultimately, with Magda, I felt like I was wearing my own skin but it was still enough for my pictures to be great. She did all of my bridesmaids and everyone was happy with their hair and makeup too. She will make sure you look and feel perfect on your special day.

I HIGHLY recommend Magda!!! She and her team did such a wonderful job for my wedding. In addition to my hair and makeup, I had 10 bridesmaids, plus my mom and aunt, and each one of them looked stunning! Magda did fantastic hair and makeup for my wedding. My wedding was in August so of course we were worried about sweating and looking shiny but the make up she used was perfect and held up all day and night. She is great at taking your ideas for hair and make up and making them turn out the way you want. With that said Magda was very rude to me and my bridesmaids. She was not afraid to insult someone's eyebrows or skin. There is a way to tell someone if something could be fixed but she was down right insulting and rude. I would honestly not use her again for this reason. She made me feel uncomfortable and also my bridesmaids. If you are a professional, no matter how terrible a day you are having you need to smile and make your customers feel happy and special.

Magda is the best! I am not someone who wears much makeup and was a little nervous that I would feel like I was a different person on my wedding day with wearing more makeup than usual. That was not the case at all! Magda completely listened to my concerns and made me feel beautiful and feel like myself on the wedding day! I also really enjoyed my trial with Magda. She came to my mom's house for the trial and that was also a great experience. Since I have a pixie cut we did not do a hair trial, but still talked about ideas for the hair for the wedding day. I enjoy working with Magda because she is down to earth and easy to talk to. She came to the hotel from 12-5 on the day of my wedding and did hair and make up on myself, my mom, and three of my bridesmaids. She not only did an amazing job on everyone, but also was great to spend the afternoon with. I was a little nervous as the bride and she was a calming presence during the time while getting ready!

Magda is EXCELLENT at what she does! My family and I have used her for makeup and/or hair for 3 majorly important occasions, and she is fantastic. For my sister's wedding, we hired her to do the makeup for my sister, my mom, and me (for logistical reasons, bridesmaids' makeup was done at another place where we did all of our hair). She did such a great job; our makeup looked natural, yet beautiful (just like we had requested!) and it lasted all day & night. Magda really knows how to make a bride stand out, and my sister's makeup, especially, was STUNNINGLY gorgeous. I actually wore mine the following day because I was so tired by the time we got back that I forgot to wash my face, and since it still looked perfect in the morning, I kept it on :) So basically, her makeup application lasted from 2 pm on a Saturday until 8 pm on Sunday! I'm prone to getting very shiny, and the fact that this didn't happen is a miracle in my book. She also did my sister's makeup for another big event in April 2015, and I used her again myself in May 2015 for hair & makeup. We will all definitely be contacting her when the need arises for us to look our best. She always responds quickly to messages (via text/email/voice), arrives exactly on time, keeps everybody on schedule, pays attention when we describe what we're looking for (and actually delivers it), has a great attitude, is a total professional, prices reasonably, and is all around a pleasure to work with! And I feel that the fact that she comes to you is a bonus and makes everything so much more comfortable. I highly recommend her; you will not be disappointed!

Magda does a wonderful job. She did my make-up & hair as a bridesmaid for a friend getting married a few years ago, and I thought she did a great job, so I asked her to do my wedding. She (with an assistant) did hair/make-up for 6 bridesmaids, my mom and myself, and everyone looked great. Magda also has a very calm, confident & business-like demeanor, that in the midst of all the chaos on wedding day, was much appreciated.
