Magdalena Studios

dios was the best vendor for the job! Everyone at the Studio is super friendly, professional, and responds quickly. After we booked, we were matched with Casey as our photographer. She was the perfect fit for us and simply incredible to work with. At our engagement photos session, Casey instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and on our wedding day, everything went seamlessly. Casey helped us pose naturally, stuck to our timeline, and made sure we got all the shots on our list. Our second photographer, Sophie, was super sweet and helpful as well. Casey's care and attention to detail is second to none. I put together a Pinterest board of my inspo shots, and at both our engagement session and our wedding day, Casey pulled up specific photos and then posed us accordingly to truly capture my vision. We already got our previews, and we are totally in love. I can't wait to see the rest! Huge thanks to Casey, Sophie, and the whole team!

rsonable. They captured every moment beautifully — from our first look to the ceremony and family portraits — and the pictures are absolutely gorgeous. What truly stood out was how they made us and our guests feel so comfortable, even during the chaos of the day. Their energy and guidance made portraits fun, and they handled every situation seamlessly. Communication was excellent throughout, and the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. I also paid extra for rush sneak peeks, which I highly recommend — it was so exciting to see some of our favorite moments right after the wedding! We would absolutely recommend Ashley and Sophie to any couple looking for photographers who not only capture stunning images but also make your wedding day feel effortless and joyful.

, caught all of the small moments, and so much fun to be with on our big day! The entire team at Magdelena were extremely easy to communicate with and the photos that we’ve so far in the sneak peak are INCREDIBLE! Photographer was the vendor that was didn’t want to skimp on and were very happy that we budgeted for a top tier photographer in Kelee and Magdelena Studios. Would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Philadelphia/Jersey area!

re incredible — so warm, professional, and attentive throughout our entire wedding day. They made us feel completely at ease, and their eye for capturing meaningful moments was truly exceptional. They helped us get stunning shots during and after our beach ceremony, and some of our absolute favorite moments were captured during the gorgeous sunset on the pier by the bay in Stone Harbor. Even though we’re still eagerly awaiting the full gallery, the previews they’ve already shared with us have completely blown us away — they are everything we could have hoped for and more. If you’re still searching for your wedding photographer, stop looking — you’ve found them. Magdalena Studios is simply the best!

whimsical and romantic. The studio is located in Ocean City, NJ so they’re familiar with the Sea Isle area and my wedding venue, which was very important to me. I was paired with the photographer Ashley, and she truly made my wedding photo dreams come true. My wedding vision was a bit unconventional: I thrifted and secondhand sourced about 95% of my entire day…from my 1950s wedding dress, getting-ready wardrobe, bridesmaids’ PJs, reception outfit changes, all of my decor, wedding linens, bridesmaids gifts, and much more. I knew I wanted my photos to reflect these pieces of history that I collected in their natural state. And because I had thrifted almost everything, I had a pretty lengthy shot list, but Ashley captured everything, even better than I had imagined. Ashley spent an hour on the phone with us the week before our wedding going over the shot list, making suggestions, which I definitely needed because once decision fatigue sets in as a bride, it’s pretty hard to get yourself out of it. On my wedding day, Ashley was unbelievable. She kept me calm and remembered to take shots that I completely forgot about. In fact, after our first look, my husband and I were on the jitney going over the Townsend Inlet bridge, and the bridge was up because a large boat was going under. As traffic was stopped on the bridge, Ashley jumped out of her car and into our jitney and said “let’s get this shot”. My husband and I got off the jitney and took photos on the bridge that connected our two towns that brought us together: him in Sea Isle and me in Avalon. Unposed and unplanned, this meant everything to me. I actually can’t put into words how much I appreciate that moment, she remembered I wanted to do that, but I knew it wouldn’t be possible. My bridesmaids were on the jitney with us and they said that was the coolest thing a photographer could do. Ashley captured all of my old elements and turned it into a new piece of art that my husband and I will cherish forever.

lute best - so warm and fun to be around, but also so experienced and knowledgeable. The pictures came out stunning and we knew we made the right choice. I used her again for boudoir pictures the summer before our wedding (November 2024). The entire studio is great and has the best chill vibes! They were incredibly experienced and relaxing to have in our presence on wedding day. One quick situation to call out is we ended up forgetting my second dress at the hotel room. We were trying to figure out what we’d do minutes for the ceremony & the second shooter, Mike, ended up leaving during cocktail hour to go back to the hotel and pickup the dress. Incredible above & beyond effort we did not expect, but that is the kind of service they will provide. Every single picture we received is stunning. We will use them for all picture needs in the future!

y awkward, tense, and nerve racking time, not just manageable, but enjoyable, was truly awesome. They are absolute pros, and gave us the most important feeling - the hardest feeling to come by on your wedding day...that everything is going to be ok! It was beyond ok, Kelee and Casey through their expertise of their craft, and their engaging, friendly and warm personalities, made working with Magdalena Studios as wonderful as the unbelievable photos that they captured.

and I’ve only seen a preview of what’s to come! They captured the magic of the day and it clearly visible in the pictures.

aged, I felt like I was talking to one of my friends; she is super friendly and easy to chat with & I hired her immediately! She was the first vendor we booked! Ashley was my lead photographer for my wedding on 02/10. She did our engagement shoot as well and we loved every minute of it! On our wedding day she made me feel so comfortable and I actually enjoyed being the center of attention! My husband doesn't love getting his picture taken and even he was smiling. My second shooter was Arianna and she was super personable and great to work with. Both Ashley & Arianna made us feel comfortable and we never felt like our photos were too forced or posed. I am SO in love with the sneak peeks I've already received and can't wait to get my full album! Overall, Magdalena Studios was really easy to work with & I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I'm so grateful we have these amazing pictures to relive our best day! 100% would recommend :)

i that she was warm but also businesslike and to the point. Leading up to the day, we really appreciated how simple and streamlined the process was. Day of, we loved Liz and Tori SO much. Liz is hilarious and her personality just totally fit our vibe. We sometimes feel awkward in front of the camera and she made us so comfortable and was just so much fun. Tori was super sweet and we loved her calm energy. Most importantly, our photos are absolutely stunning and exceeded expectations!!

r us, which is key for wedding planning! Ashley and Arianna went above and beyond on our wedding day and we are obsessed with every single photo they captured. We got married in the middle of a hurricane and you can’t even tell it rained in any photo! We would recommend them again and again to anyone looking for a wedding photographer :)

r easy and stress-free, especially so being that we were a last minute add-in. Magi and her team really do an amazing job of making your wedding feel like the special experience that it is, and also tailor the experience to each couple through fun questionnaires, and a few phone calls at different intervals (Arianna was so helpful and pleasant!). Kelee was our main shooter and she was AMAZING. She was so helpful leading up to the big day in making sure she understood exactly the FEELING we wanted, our timeline, and any special shots, etc. that we wanted. The day of, Kelee was on-time, professional, efficient, and so FUN. We were nervous about being awkward in pictures, but she truly made posing effortless and was SO encouraging (we had multiple people comment that she was the best hype woman ever & we agree!) She made great suggestions about different shots, location, lighting, etc. It was a plus that she knew our venue very well too! She also did a great job in managing our large and fairly rowdy bridal party. We stayed on time, got everything we wanted, and had SO MUCH FUN doing it. Kelle – you’re amazing and it is so clear that you love what you do and give your absolute all to your couples – thank you so much! The images themselves were absolutely STUNNING, and we received them so quickly on the easy-to-use portal. I had very vibrant florals and it was important to me for the pictures to be true-to-color, but the Magdalena style is truly timeless – not overedited or blown out – just simply beautiful and of the highest quality. I can’t imagine having a better experience with a photography team. Would highly highly recommend Magdalena Studios to photograph your special event! Thanks again!

z on my special day and they were just PERFECT! We haven't even gotten our full gallery back yet, but from just seeing our sneak peaks I am dying to see everything else!

on top of all of that, they were completely flexible and open-minded throughout our ever-so-changing plans and large wedding party. After being assigned our day-of photographers (Ashley and Angelica), we quickly booked some time to chat details and timelines out. Not only was Ashley on the ball about every minor detail, she gave helpful suggestions about shots to take and ideas for where to take photos. And that was all before our big day! When our wedding come around, Ashley and Angelica were incredible. They kept our asks and requests in mind and took the time throughout the day to be mindful to them. And not to mention, the pictures they took blew us away. We couldn't believe some of the shots they took and we couldn't have been more thankful and thrilled that we went with Magdalena Studios. I can't recommend Magdalena Studios enough. This was absolutely an investment that delivered on everything they promised.

ut with a friend. My husband was even having a good time ( I know right ? what man likes getting his photos taken) About 2 months before my wedding my mother got diagnosed with cancer and wasn't going to be here for the wedding and ended up passing a month before the wedding . Magi and her team were so supportive of the pain of was going through and tried to help in any way. They sent me the cutest charm to add to my bouquet so my mom would be with me when I walked down the aisle. You're getting way more than just a photographer when you book with this team. You're getting a vendor and company who actually cares deeply about their couples. Kelee was a gem the day of the wedding. She knew the day was going to be very emotional and was so supportive. And got the best shots. Brian and I were over the moon with our pictures. We just received our hard wedding album and couldn't be happier. I would want to get married all over again just to work with Magi and her team. Magdalena Studios is like family 💗

asey were truly amazing on our wedding day! They both helped organize the best photos of our friends and family and kept everything running smooth. I would use them all over again if I could!!

it easy to communicate with them on anything I needed before and after our wedding. Highly recommend!

ot only made us feel comfortable but by the end of our wedding day she felt like a close friend. Magi knew exactly where to tell us to stand, how to pose, etc. She was also super laid back which made our day stress free. You would never be able to tell that I am not the biggest fan of being in front of the camera by the way our photos turned out. We were truly blown away by the sneak peeks that we received from our wedding day. I would highly recommend Magi & team to anyone who is looking for a talented, thoughtful & highly reputable photographer. You will not be disappointed by Magi's work!

are artists with a vision and so easy to trust. Magi is calm and organized and makes you feel at ease, and she and Scott felt like a part of our friends; they are so fun to be around! Everything we discussed from our engagement shoot to prep calls was remembered, and their attention to detail is amazing. I can't imagine our wedding with different photographers- they truly made the day extra special!

moment I reached out to Magdalena Studios I was 100% impressed. Magi was in constant communication to answer any and all questions I had, and was super friendly and supportive as well (which reduced my stress level immensely). She also stays in constant communication from the time you book until your wedding day, so you don't have to worry about any details! On the day of our wedding I was blown away by the professionalism, kindness, and experience Amara and Ariana brought with them. From the moment I met them I felt as though I had known them forever. I didn't worry for one moment during our big day if our photography needs were being met. AND THE PICTURES. Oh my God...we are in love with them. They absolutely captured all of the romance, excitement, and love of our big day. Only downside is there are so many wonderful pictures it's been hard to choose which ones we want to frame! :) If you are looking for a great photographer to work with, look no further and reach out to Magi and her team - you will not be disappointed!

ee and fun! We are so happy with the beautiful shots that captured every moment of our day. Would highly recommend!!!

was featured around the beloved Ocean City. When it came to planning our wedding I quickly knew she was the best fit for my husband and I. Truly- I knew Magi would crush it but her husband, Scott and co partner made the day soooo easy for the guys. My husband can be camera shy, and awkward and Scott brought the guys out of their shells and really captured them wonderfully. As I look at all the photos I am in disbelief at how beautiful they came out. I am so happy with our decision to hire Magi and Scott and recommend all couples to consider using them for their big day!!!! 100% worth every penny! Not to mention how awesome and fun this dynamic duo is!

cades - said she's the best. Was sold by her photos - love her "clean" style, it's effortless. From the beginning, she was a pleasure to work with. Super professional. Helpful. Very easy-going. From our initial consultation, I knew we'd be in good hands! Magi's pricing is on the higher end compared to many South Jersey photographers (IMO) but with GREAT and completely VALID REASON. You get what you pay for- 100%. And it's an investment - these photos will be around for you to see until you die. (And even after that!) Her associate photographers are also incredible from the work I've seen and they are avaiable to photograph your wedding for a more affordable price. She has a portal that made tracking contract(s), payments seamless. Planning a wedding is insanely busy and hard to keep track of and her check-in emails made it much less stressful from the beginning because we knew if there was something we forgot to mention or do, she'd be in touch. We did not do an engagement shoot (although I likely would have looking back). Wasn't something I was really interested in. So we met Magi and her husband for the first time at our wedding. Not only are they adorable!! But they are true professionals in every sense of the word. Also super laid back while getting the job done. They made us feel really comfortable, never rushed and made taking photos so much fun. We received the preview photos - which were stunning - within like 24-48 hours (?) of the wedding and they were jaw-dropping. Just insane. There really isn't much more to say beyond that I am incredibly happy with my choice to hire Magi. If it's within your budget and you like her style, pull the trigger. She might be booked out til like 2030 at this point anyway. THE BEST.

joy and inner beauty absolutely radiates in the photos Magi captured of us. Magi and Team are so organized and made everyone in our wedding party feel so comfortable. They just feel like they’re part of the party without ever being obtrusive. They are so easy to work with and help guide you through the whole wedding process. Magi’s blog is filled with so much great information and inspiration. Our engagement photos are stunning and we have received so many completed on them. Our wedding photos are breathtaking. They’re so unbelievably beautiful!

r than we could’ve ever hoped for. We worked with Kelee who we absolutely love. She’s so amazing at what she does whilst somehow managing to be so kind and fun - it was honestly like hanging with one of our friends! Paula was our second photographer and spent the majority of the day with the guys and their pictures came out perfect. She managed to make a group of guys who don’t like getting their pictures taken, look like models. Their getting ready pictures brought me to tears - I felt like I was there with them! I could go on and on singing the praises of Magdalena Studios, but all I can say is - book them!! You won’t regret it!

an awesome team. We worked with Ashley for our wedding day photos and I just absolutely love her. At the end of the night, I asked when I could see her next because she’s just that awesome of a person. She is so talented, so sweet and made sure we had fun all day. AND the photos she took are literally breathtaking. I would recommend hiring Magi and her team 10/10 times. Thank you!!!!

e and creative sense immediately struck us as special. Her general vibe immediately put us at ease and the engagement photos were a telling harbinger to what we would get on the wedding day (they were gorgeous!). On the wedding day, Magi and Scott couldn’t have been more easy-going and professional. Their overall attitudes immediately put us at ease and made the picture taking experience so easy. Then there’s the pictures themselves – there’s expectation and reality, and then there’s what they produced. It was truly incredible how perfect the pictures looked (and we’ve only seen the unedited versions so far). It looked like we were in promo shots of a multi-million dollar Hollywood movie (for a very, very small fraction of the price). We really could not recommend them more!! Thank you so much for making our special day something that we will truly never forget!

re friends! So kind and helpful and just went along with all of my quirks. Second, she captured all the fun and unique personalities of all my family and friends. I LOVED all the funny but tasteful candids that she took of us and our wedding party. Our true selves were represented all day. Third, every picture was beautiful. I’ve been overwhelmed. Every time I’ve gone through our gallery I’ve found a new favorite. Casey was our second photographer who we loved as well! She spent most of the day with the guys and we loved their getting ready pictures!!!! I could honestly go on forever.

atural style. Our engagement shoot with Magi was awesome and the photos absolutely blew us away. She was so professional, passionate, warm, and energetic. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! After having to postpone our wedding multiple times we were so disappointed that Magi was no longer available for our new date. Magi had reassured us though that Kelee, who she had assigned to us, would be just as great. And boy was Magi right! Kelee was incredible!!! Her positive energy and spirit was infectious! She made me feel so stunning and was so committed to capturing our beautiful moments. Even our friends and family fell in love with her! We cannot wait to see our photos!

husband. I fell for her romantic imagery, authentic aesthetic, and shared love for travel & always told myself "if I ever get married, I am hiring Magi to capture our day". Magi was the first vendor that I reached out to after getting engaged and we were so lucky that we could book her for our October 2020 Willow Creek Winery wedding. Magdalena Studios truly offers a premium experience from start to finish. They were by far the most professional vendor that we worked with, and they go beyond just photographing your wedding day. Magi personally shared her creative ideas and she provides access to helpful bridal resources. While photographing, she put us at ease and made the experience so much fun. Magi has a calming presence and a sweet personality & is someone you want by your side on your wedding day. We can confidently confirm that this boss babe is worth the investment… we cannot stop looking at our magazine worthy photos! Thank you Magi and Team! xx Kathryn and Slater

olved in our special day. We are SO glad we made that choice for both our engagement session and wedding day! Magi was so helpful throughout the process as we were very indecisive with our timeline and then last minute - we had to change a few plans because of COVID. Our engagement session was so amazing - we pretty much look at our engagement photos weekly thanks to Ashley's amazing work! Our wedding day was seamless as well - Ashley and Casey literally stepped in for so many things that are probably not in their job descriptions (i.e. putting on guys boutonnières, finishing buttoning up my dress, and telling me exactly what to do so I didn't have to think too much)! Throughout the day, they were professional, kind, and excited to be there. They also worked perfectly with our videographers. We are so excited to see the rest of our photos from our day. Thank you so much Magi and team!!

away!

ful. Sending a gift upon booking, reaching out intermittently, and scheduling a phone call to ease anxiety. We are a COVID-19 couple. Our original wedding May 2020 (postponed twice). Through the uncertainty, Magi made everything easy. We booked the associate team. Ashley was our day-of photographer for an intimate ceremony in July with immediate family. Ashley was cheerful, professional, kind, and shot absolutely beautiful photos. With only an hour session, and despite broken air conditioning and Hurricane Fay, the photos were amazing. We are so thankful and glad we chose Magdalena Studios. We look forward to the "big wedding" in 2021 and look forward to the beautiful photos! Thank you Magi and Ashley!!! Love, Brittany and Matt **Update*** Ashley and Amara, thank you for the stunning photos from July 2021! We are blown away by the absolutely gorgeous photos. We are currently furnishing our new home and having trouble choosing which ones to print and frame...a good problem to have! We loved how you captured every detail and grouping of photos we asked. The emotion of the day is captured beautifully. Multiple members of our bridal party commented on how great Ashley was to work with! Ashley is professional and talented while maintaining a comfortable approach, which allows for natural photos. We loved working with Magdalena Studios and hope to again in the future for family photos! Thank you- Magi, Ashley, and Amara!

knew there was no one else we’d rather have capture our special day. During our wedding planning process, Magi was literally a godsend. She provided us with SO many helpful tips and recommendations, and even took the time to share little details from her own wedding! When our wedding day coincided with the pandemic, Magi & Scott were super supportive and helped fill our day with so much love. Our wedding photos were STUNNING, truly breathtaking. Their passion for storytelling shows in all of their beautiful work. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Magi and Scott!

sband and I aren't huge picture takers and our main photographer, Ashley, not only made us feel super comfortable, but she captured the intimate and candid moments that mattered most to us. A HUGE thank you to the Magdalena Studios team!

ntire planning process feel stress-free and seamless. Prior to our big day, I was able to connect with her Associate Megan and talk through all of the details. Both she and Ashley were AMAZING! They were both extremely easy-going, professional and creative! Our photos turned out absolutely STUNNING! Not a detail was missed and I am so grateful for that. Thank you!!!!!

os are absolutely exquisite. Magi was the first vendor I reached out to, and from that day forward, she has been a joy to work with. She's very professional and organized, all while helping out your every need and questions on a daily basis. My fiancé and I were nervous about being awkward in front of the camera, but once Magi & her wonderful husband, Scott, starting shooting, we felt immediately at ease. They have such a way to make you feel calm, and just be natural. She captured beautiful moments throughout the day, and every detail that we never wanted to forget. We absolutely love all of our photos, and I still receive compliments on them all the time. They are breathtaking. Tj and I will cherish our photos for the rest of our lives, and we have Magi and Scott to thank for that. They are amazing photographers and remarkable people. I cannot say enough good things about the both of them!

ry comfortable about trusting her and her team to be the team behind all of our wedding photography. Her communication was on 100% all the time, even for my silly questions. The day of our wedding Magi and Ashley came in and it was a pleasure to watch them work, even when it felt like they weren't there. Magi took the time to take pictures of the delicate details of our day that really remind me of how our wedding vision came to life. She made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and guided us to capture the most perfect pictures. The day of our wedding she sent us preview pictures to hold us over until the rest came through. The pictures are soft and delicate with special attention to the details. Any chance I get I make sure to suggest Magi and her team to be part of someone's special day because every time I look at our pictures I relive our wedding in that very moment. Thank you!!! xo

ur wedding day, Magi made my husband and I feel comfortable in front the camera (even though we typically are not!). Because of this, she was able to capture our relationship authentically and in a way that felt like us. Both Magi and Scott photographed all of our special moments throughout the day in the most beautiful way. I will be forever grateful for them and the memories we are able to relive through their photography. They are the absolute best, I couldn’t have imagined our wedding without them!

agement pictures and our wedding day- she is incredible! Ashley had so many great ideas for our photos. She was able to take control of the day while still taking what I said into consideration. Her calm and sincere personality but my husband and I at ease. We got our wedding pictures back so quickly! They all look like they can be on a cover of a magazine. Magdalena Studios was a great fit for us, we couldn't be happier!

I found Magi on TheKnot, I went over to her Instagram and loved how beautiful her images were. Light, soft, and romantic-just what we were looking for. We didn't get a chance to meet until our wedding day so we did everything by phone. Magi noticed something in our timeline that we otherwise would have missed that helped rearrange our day and because of that we wound up with gorgeous sunset pictures. Magi and her husband Scott were INCREDIBLE. When Magi came in, I was having a mini freak out about my flowers that were not at all what I had asked for. She immediately went into help mode and even offered to speak to the florist herself. I can say with confidence that not many people, let along your photographer- would do that. I loved her vision of the day and her artistic eye for our pictures. She and Scott not only made us feel comfortable, but everyone else felt comfortable too! We talked and laughed all day. She and Scott stayed longer than planned when I asked for extra hours and were so nice about it. We are so happy with our pictures. They are just what we had envisioned and we are so glad that we chose Magi for our pictures, but were so happy with how sweet both she and her husband are during an emotional rollercoaster of a day! We haven't received our wedding album yet, it's only been two months, but I'd highly recommend couples to do so. You'll receive a lot of images but in my opinion, it would be difficult to make your own album. We chose to have Magi do our album because I trust her eye because this is her expertise. I can't say enough great things about Magi and Scott!

just loved the pictures. We spoke to Magi throughout the process to figure out the day-of logistics. She’s so easy to talk to and made sure to answer any of our questions. Also, the online system for making payments and filling out questionnaires is so easy to use. We met our photographer, Liz, on the day of the wedding and were thrilled! Liz is super outgoing and made us laugh the entire time we were taking pictures. We are obsessed with our photos and definitely recommend using Magdalena Studios for your wedding! Thanks again for the most perfect wedding photos!

y photos!!! Thank you so much Magi & Scott, you guys are amazing!!!!

ourney. We had her associate team and Megan was AMAZING! I never got the chance to meet Megan before the big day but the second we met it was like we already knew each other. We can't thank them enough and love our photos SO much!

ged to act as wedding planners when that role was needed. Megan and Ashley were always in tune to my needs as a bride. In fact, the first person to ask if I needed anything when we walked into our reception was Megan! They see the big picture on your wedding day. I can't believe how much they juggle and make it seem so seamless. They are always smiling and laughing with you. They just brighten the day and each moment even more than it already is! This all goes without saying how fabulous the photography itself was! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera when we often don't feel that way. And their talents are unmatched. I would recommend Magdalena Studios to anyone and everyone!
