From the first moment we saw the work of Magdalena Studios, we knew we had to have them as our wedding photographer. The whole team made the entire process so easy and efficient for us, which is key for wedding planning! Ashley and Arianna went above and beyond on our wedding day and we are obsessed with every single photo they captured. We got married in the middle of a hurricane and you can’t even tell it rained in any photo! We would recommend them again and again to anyone looking for a wedding photographer :)

I could write a book about how amazing Magdalena Studios is, and how grateful we are to have had them for our 9/17/22 Linwood CC Wedding! From start to finish, the process was super easy and stress-free, especially so being that we were a last minute add-in. Magi and her team really do an amazing job of making your wedding feel like the special experience that it is, and also tailor the experience to each couple through fun questionnaires, and a few phone calls at different intervals (Arianna was so helpful and pleasant!). Kelee was our main shooter and she was AMAZING. She was so helpful leading up to the big day in making sure she understood exactly the FEELING we wanted, our timeline, and any special shots, etc. that we wanted. The day of, Kelee was on-time, professional, efficient, and so FUN. We were nervous about being awkward in pictures, but she truly made posing effortless and was SO encouraging (we had multiple people comment that she was the best hype woman ever & we agree!) She made great suggestions about different shots, location, lighting, etc. It was a plus that she knew our venue very well too! She also did a great job in managing our large and fairly rowdy bridal party. We stayed on time, got everything we wanted, and had SO MUCH FUN doing it. Kelle – you’re amazing and it is so clear that you love what you do and give your absolute all to your couples – thank you so much! The images themselves were absolutely STUNNING, and we received them so quickly on the easy-to-use portal. I had very vibrant florals and it was important to me for the pictures to be true-to-color, but the Magdalena style is truly timeless – not overedited or blown out – just simply beautiful and of the highest quality. I can’t imagine having a better experience with a photography team. Would highly highly recommend Magdalena Studios to photograph your special event! Thanks again!

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was to work with Magdalena Studios. From start to finish they were such a huge help. I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and Liz on my special day and they were just PERFECT! We haven't even gotten our full gallery back yet, but from just seeing our sneak peaks I am dying to see everything else!

From day one, Magi and her team were absolutely magnificent. They were engaging during our email conversations, were personable and understanding during our early phone calls, and on top of all of that, they were completely flexible and open-minded throughout our ever-so-changing plans and large wedding party. After being assigned our day-of photographers (Ashley and Angelica), we quickly booked some time to chat details and timelines out. Not only was Ashley on the ball about every minor detail, she gave helpful suggestions about shots to take and ideas for where to take photos. And that was all before our big day! When our wedding come around, Ashley and Angelica were incredible. They kept our asks and requests in mind and took the time throughout the day to be mindful to them. And not to mention, the pictures they took blew us away. We couldn't believe some of the shots they took and we couldn't have been more thankful and thrilled that we went with Magdalena Studios. I can't recommend Magdalena Studios enough. This was absolutely an investment that delivered on everything they promised.

I can't even begin to explain how happy we were with Magi and her team. Kelee was our head photographer. When we met Kelee for our engagement photos we felt like we were hanging out with a friend. My husband was even having a good time ( I know right ? what man likes getting his photos taken) About 2 months before my wedding my mother got diagnosed with cancer and wasn't going to be here for the wedding and ended up passing a month before the wedding . Magi and her team were so supportive of the pain of was going through and tried to help in any way. They sent me the cutest charm to add to my bouquet so my mom would be with me when I walked down the aisle. You're getting way more than just a photographer when you book with this team. You're getting a vendor and company who actually cares deeply about their couples. Kelee was a gem the day of the wedding. She knew the day was going to be very emotional and was so supportive. And got the best shots. Brian and I were over the moon with our pictures. We just received our hard wedding album and couldn't be happier. I would want to get married all over again just to work with Magi and her team. Magdalena Studios is like family 💗

From the minute we booked with Magdalena Studios they were always helpful answering questions and making changes as needed to our wedding day timeline. Our photographers Ashley & Casey were truly amazing on our wedding day! They both helped organize the best photos of our friends and family and kept everything running smooth. I would use them all over again if I could!!

Magi and her team went above and beyond throughout our entire wedding process. From our engagement photoshoot over a year ago, to being with us on our wedding day last week, Magi not only made us feel comfortable but by the end of our wedding day she felt like a close friend. Magi knew exactly where to tell us to stand, how to pose, etc. She was also super laid back which made our day stress free. You would never be able to tell that I am not the biggest fan of being in front of the camera by the way our photos turned out. We were truly blown away by the sneak peeks that we received from our wedding day. I would highly recommend Magi & team to anyone who is looking for a talented, thoughtful & highly reputable photographer. You will not be disappointed by Magi's work!

Having Magi and Scott as our wedding photographers left us speechless. They made us feel so comfortable and confident, and the photos perfectly capture who we are as a couple. They are artists with a vision and so easy to trust. Magi is calm and organized and makes you feel at ease, and she and Scott felt like a part of our friends; they are so fun to be around! Everything we discussed from our engagement shoot to prep calls was remembered, and their attention to detail is amazing. I can't imagine our wedding with different photographers- they truly made the day extra special!

I'm WAY overdue for this review! Magi and her team are AMAZING! Due to Covid we changed locations from CA to NJ and rushed to put our wedding together within a few months. From the moment I reached out to Magdalena Studios I was 100% impressed. Magi was in constant communication to answer any and all questions I had, and was super friendly and supportive as well (which reduced my stress level immensely). She also stays in constant communication from the time you book until your wedding day, so you don't have to worry about any details! On the day of our wedding I was blown away by the professionalism, kindness, and experience Amara and Ariana brought with them. From the moment I met them I felt as though I had known them forever. I didn't worry for one moment during our big day if our photography needs were being met. AND THE PICTURES. Oh my God...we are in love with them. They absolutely captured all of the romance, excitement, and love of our big day. Only downside is there are so many wonderful pictures it's been hard to choose which ones we want to frame! :) If you are looking for a great photographer to work with, look no further and reach out to Magi and her team - you will not be disappointed!

From start to finish, I was completely at ease with every member of the staff. Planning out our timeline, selecting our package, and even being in front of the camera was stress free and fun! We are so happy with the beautiful shots that captured every moment of our day. Would highly recommend!!!

One of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process!! I had briefly met Magi years before hiring her to shoot our wedding and always loved and admired her work that was featured around the beloved Ocean City. When it came to planning our wedding I quickly knew she was the best fit for my husband and I. Truly- I knew Magi would crush it but her husband, Scott and co partner made the day soooo easy for the guys. My husband can be camera shy, and awkward and Scott brought the guys out of their shells and really captured them wonderfully. As I look at all the photos I am in disbelief at how beautiful they came out. I am so happy with our decision to hire Magi and Scott and recommend all couples to consider using them for their big day!!!! 100% worth every penny! Not to mention how awesome and fun this dynamic duo is!

I could write a novel of details for this review, but I'll try and keep this short! Magi was referred to me by a family member who has worked in the wedding industry as a DJ for decades - said she's the best. Was sold by her photos - love her "clean" style, it's effortless. From the beginning, she was a pleasure to work with. Super professional. Helpful. Very easy-going. From our initial consultation, I knew we'd be in good hands! Magi's pricing is on the higher end compared to many South Jersey photographers (IMO) but with GREAT and completely VALID REASON. You get what you pay for- 100%. And it's an investment - these photos will be around for you to see until you die. (And even after that!) Her associate photographers are also incredible from the work I've seen and they are avaiable to photograph your wedding for a more affordable price. She has a portal that made tracking contract(s), payments seamless. Planning a wedding is insanely busy and hard to keep track of and her check-in emails made it much less stressful from the beginning because we knew if there was something we forgot to mention or do, she'd be in touch. We did not do an engagement shoot (although I likely would have looking back). Wasn't something I was really interested in. So we met Magi and her husband for the first time at our wedding. Not only are they adorable!! But they are true professionals in every sense of the word. Also super laid back while getting the job done. They made us feel really comfortable, never rushed and made taking photos so much fun. We received the preview photos - which were stunning - within like 24-48 hours (?) of the wedding and they were jaw-dropping. Just insane. There really isn't much more to say beyond that I am incredibly happy with my choice to hire Magi. If it's within your budget and you like her style, pull the trigger. She might be booked out til like 2030 at this point anyway. THE BEST.

Magi is an absolute dream to work with and she made us feel so confident and relaxed in front of the camera, we surprised ourselves with just how much fun we had taking photos! Our joy and inner beauty absolutely radiates in the photos Magi captured of us. Magi and Team are so organized and made everyone in our wedding party feel so comfortable. They just feel like they’re part of the party without ever being obtrusive. They are so easy to work with and help guide you through the whole wedding process. Magi’s blog is filled with so much great information and inspiration. Our engagement photos are stunning and we have received so many completed on them. Our wedding photos are breathtaking. They’re so unbelievably beautiful!

Magdalena Studios is the best of the best!! Magi is a joy to work with, she’s on top of absolutely everything and her team is incredible. Our pictures are beyond gorgeous and better than we could’ve ever hoped for. We worked with Kelee who we absolutely love. She’s so amazing at what she does whilst somehow managing to be so kind and fun - it was honestly like hanging with one of our friends! Paula was our second photographer and spent the majority of the day with the guys and their pictures came out perfect. She managed to make a group of guys who don’t like getting their pictures taken, look like models. Their getting ready pictures brought me to tears - I felt like I was there with them! I could go on and on singing the praises of Magdalena Studios, but all I can say is - book them!! You won’t regret it!

Magi and her team are truly INCREDIBLE. Magdalena Studios has to be my most favorite vendor we hired for the big day. Magi is so attentive and has created an amazing business with an awesome team. We worked with Ashley for our wedding day photos and I just absolutely love her. At the end of the night, I asked when I could see her next because she’s just that awesome of a person. Magi, Scott & the Magdalena studios team were truly incredible to work with and we couldn’t have been happier with them! We first met Magi for our engagement pictures and her style and creative sense immediately struck us as special. Her general vibe immediately put us at ease and the engagement photos were a telling harbinger to what we would get on the wedding day (they were gorgeous!). On the wedding day, Magi and Scott couldn’t have been more easy-going and professional. Their overall attitudes immediately put us at ease and made the picture taking experience so easy. Then there’s the pictures themselves – there’s expectation and reality, and then there’s what they produced. It was truly incredible how perfect the pictures looked (and we’ve only seen the unedited versions so far). It looked like we were in promo shots of a multi-million dollar Hollywood movie (for a very, very small fraction of the price). We really could not recommend them more!! Thank you so much for making our special day something that we will truly never forget!

OH. MY. GOD. Where to begin!? We used Kelee from Magdalena Studios for our wedding photos and we are blown away. First, she was just so fun to have around all day I felt like we were friends! So kind and helpful and just went along with all of my quirks. Second, she captured all the fun and unique personalities of all my family and friends. I LOVED all the funny but tasteful candids that she took of us and our wedding party. Our true selves were represented all day. Third, every picture was beautiful. I’ve been overwhelmed. Every time I’ve gone through our gallery I’ve found a new favorite. Casey was our second photographer who we loved as well! She spent most of the day with the guys and we loved their getting ready pictures!!!! I could honestly go on forever.

Hiring Magdalena Studios was the easiest decision we made while wedding planning! The moment I came across her on social media I was in awe of her creativity and light, airy, and natural style. Our engagement shoot with Magi was awesome and the photos absolutely blew us away. She was so professional, passionate, warm, and energetic. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! After having to postpone our wedding multiple times we were so disappointed that Magi was no longer available for our new date. My husband and I cannot express how much we loved working with Magdalena Studios! We knew very quickly after getting engaged that we were interested in having Magdalena Studios involved in our special day. We are SO glad we made that choice for both our engagement session and wedding day! Magi was so helpful throughout the process as we were very indecisive with our timeline and then last minute - we had to change a few plans because of COVID. Our engagement session was so amazing - we pretty much look at our engagement photos weekly thanks to Ashley's amazing work! Our wedding day was seamless as well - Ashley and Casey literally stepped in for so many things that are probably not in their job descriptions (i.e. putting on guys boutonnières, finishing buttoning up my dress, and telling me exactly what to do so I didn't have to think too much)! Throughout the day, they were professional, kind, and excited to be there. They also worked perfectly with our videographers. We are so excited to see the rest of our photos from our day. Magdalena Studios is amazing! From the beginning, Magi was responsive, clear, and professional. The online portal is beautiful, easy to navigate, and helpful. Magi is so thoughtful. Sending a gift upon booking, reaching out intermittently, and scheduling a phone call to ease anxiety. We are a COVID-19 couple. Our original wedding May 2020 (postponed twice). Through the uncertainty, Magi made everything easy. We booked the associate team. Ashley was our day-of photographer for an intimate ceremony in July with immediate family. Ashley was cheerful, professional, kind, and shot absolutely beautiful photos. With only an hour session, and despite broken air conditioning and Hurricane Fay, the photos were amazing. I had been in a friend’s wedding who had Magi as a photographer and she was so great, I just knew I had to have her be a part of my own special day. From our engagement photos to our wedding day, Magi made my husband and I feel comfortable in front the camera (even though we typically are not!). Because of this, she was able to capture our relationship authentically and in a way that felt like us. Both Magi and Scott photographed all of our special moments throughout the day in the most beautiful way. I will be forever grateful for them and the memories we are able to relive through their photography. They are the absolute best, I couldn’t have imagined our wedding without them!

As we were beginning to plan our wedding, we knew having a great photographer was at the top of our list. We were not disappointed by Magi and her team. We had Ashley shoot our engagement pictures and our wedding day- she is incredible! Ashley had so many great ideas for our photos. She was able to take control of the day while still taking what I said into consideration. Her calm and sincere personality but my husband and I at ease. We got our wedding pictures back so quickly! They all look like they can be on a cover of a magazine. Magdalena Studios was a great fit for us, we couldn't be happier!

We planned our wedding from across the country and finding a photographer was top priority of ours. (Things will go wrong on your wedding day but your pictures are forever!) When I found Magi on TheKnot, I went over to her Instagram and loved how beautiful her images were. Light, soft, and romantic-just what we were looking for. We didn't get a chance to meet until our wedding day so we did everything by phone. Magi noticed something in our timeline that we otherwise would have missed that helped rearrange our day and because of that we wound up with gorgeous sunset pictures. Magi and her husband Scott were INCREDIBLE. When Magi came in, I was having a mini freak out about my flowers that were not at all what I had asked for. She immediately went into help mode and even offered to speak to the florist herself. I can say with confidence that not many people, let along your photographer- would do that. I loved her vision of the day and her artistic eye for our pictures. She and Scott not only made us feel comfortable, but everyone else felt comfortable too! We talked and laughed all day. She and Scott stayed longer than planned when I asked for extra hours and were so nice about it. We are so happy with our pictures. They are just what we had envisioned and we are so glad that we chose Magi for our pictures, but were so happy with how sweet both she and her husband are during an emotional rollercoaster of a day! We haven't received our wedding album yet, it's only been two months, but I'd highly recommend couples to do so. You'll receive a lot of images but in my opinion, it would be difficult to make your own album. We chose to have Magi do our album because I trust her eye because this is her expertise. I can't say enough great things about Magi and Scott!

We knew when we started planning our wedding that we wanted Magdalena Studios to photograph our big day. I had been following their Instagram for awhile before getting engaged and just loved the pictures. We spoke to Magi throughout the process to figure out the day-of logistics. She’s so easy to talk to and made sure to answer any of our questions. Also, the online system for making payments and filling out questionnaires is so easy to use. We met our photographer, Liz, on the day of the wedding and were thrilled! Liz is super outgoing and made us laugh the entire time we were taking pictures. We had her associate team and Megan was AMAZING! I never got the chance to meet Megan before the big day but the second we met it was like we already knew each other. When my husband and I were first planning our wedding, finding the "right" photographer was at the top of our list. We wanted someone that not only captured the emotions and happiness of that day but was easy to work with. Magdalena Studios was recommended by a friend and was an easy choice after comparing to local photographers in the area. We chose Magi's associate staff (Ashley and Karrie) and they couldn't have been better. In addition to Magi helping us through our day of planning and schedule, we were able to have one-on-one time with Ashley prior to our day to make sure we were aligned on the vision for our photos. One of the first things my husband and I talked about after out wedding day was our choice to go with Magdalena Studios for photography. It was 100% the easiest decision we made through the planning process. Magi and Scott made our day flow so perfectly and we did not have to worry about a single thing. Throughout the whole day, we never worried about whether we were getting the necessary shots or the right angles because of their professionalism and flawless attention to detail. Having the confidence that our photos would be perfect helped make our wedding day that much better. Even before we got engaged, I knew that one day I wanted Magi to be our photographer- and she did not disappoint! The way she captures people is unlike anything I have seen before, and we knew she was the perfect person to capture our love in photos. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Magi helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and allowed us to just have fun and be ourselves. Magi and Scott made us feel so special on our wedding day, and that is something we will never forget. They are truly amazing, kind, caring & genuine people who clearly care deeply about what they do. I cry happy tears every time I look at our photos because I feel like I am right there all over again! If we had to do it all over again, Magdalena Studios would always be our first choice! Not to mention the PHOTOBOOTH!!! The MagdalenaBooth was such a hit with our guests!! It was another one of our wedding day highlights. We got to use the boxwood wall that Scott created as our backdrop, and everyone was obsessed! Magi worked with our florist and Skyline Laser to create the perfect scenery. If you have the chance to use Magdalena Studios- do it!!! You will not regret it!

I chose Magdalena Studios to photograph my wedding because I loved her (and her associate's) ability to capture the day in a beautiful/simple/elegant way without over editing or using harsh colors. I am so happy with the final photos!!! Throughout the wedding planning process, her team was very communicative, and even sent congratulatory gifts at times. I thought that was very thoughtful. The day of the wedding, associate photographer, Megan, truly went above and beyond her call as photographer. She had hair pins ready for me to use to attach my veil when nobody else had pins after the hair dresser left. She helped carry my veil, which I really appreciated. Magdalena studios went above and beyond during every step of the process. Best decision!

Best in the business. Hands down. Not that I’ve had 1000+ weddings with different photographers to prove this, but Magi and team are DREAM TEAM. They know how to make your wedding photography dreams come true. I am eager to book more one off photo sessions with the team for future life events. I cannot stress enough that they take priceless photos. The team allows your joy to shine through. The studio also offers a photo booth now! I didn’t take advantage of it but it’s super cute and can be branded to match your wedding. What appealed to me about Magi in particular in the crowded photography market is the fact that she is continually investing in herself and her team with learning and development. Magi makes sure to learn from the best and is always refining her skills and management to provide the best experience for her clients. I also was drawn to her integral spirit of giving back and being part of a community. These qualities resonated with me. Not only is Magdalena the kindest person, she is truly knowledgable and puts you at ease throughout the entire process. From the start, we knew we were in good hands when we had multiple meetings via phone or cute coffee shop dates, where Magdalena took the time to get to know my husband and I. She even sent us a cute package when we reached a milestone containing thoughtful gifts. On our wedding day, Magdalena and her husband Scott went the extra mile to say the least when our ceremony was rained out. She sprang into action, completely re-staging our ceremony indoors, warding off prying family members when it was time for my husband and I to get some pictures together, and even became a seamstress when my dress ripped- she LITERALLY sewed my dress on my body! PERFECTION!!! Working with Maggie and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When you are planning your wedding, you don't realize how much time of your wedding day you will spend with your photographer. I spent more time with Maggie than I did with any other person. It was amazing to have someone who puts you at ease, deals with the curveballs of the day and advocates for your needs. It was a real joy to spend the day with Maggie and Scott. Magdalena and her team are absolutely amazing! We used her associate team for our wedding and they were so fun to work with and captured unbelievable photos from our day. Even though we didn't have Magi as our main photographer, she was still so helpful through the whole process, communicates tremendously, and made our wedding planning enjoyable! If you are looking for a wedding photographer who believes in the power of light, and naturality (not posed) then Magi is your girl! After receiving my wedding photo gallery, I couldn't believe how many pictures I loved of not only myself and my husband, but my entire family and wedding party. We chose to use Magdelena Studios as our destination wedding photographer based on the beautiful, light, airy, and romantic pictures we had seen of other couples and other weddings on their website and social media pages, not to mention because of the raving reviews we heard from friends and read online. I actually based our wedding date on Magi's availability; she was the first vendor that we booked! Magi and Scott went above and beyond just photographing our wedding. They traveled all the way to Jamaica, met with us and explored the resort the day before, helped us in establishing a wedding day timeline, assisted with last minute details, worked closely with resort staff, and ensured that the day ran smoothly despite a tropical rainstorm that rolled in an hour before the ceremony! For me, I didn’t even consider anyone else because I was sold by Magi and her website and social media from the start. I don’t even know where to begin about how amazing and professional Magi (and her soon-to-be husband, Scott) were to work with throughout our entire wedding process (starting at least a year in advance). Magi showed sincere interest in getting to know my now-husband and I as a couple via phone calls since we don’t live all that close to South Jersey. Her online booking system was so user friendly, and her communication from the start made everything much less stressful for us. The process continued into our engagement session which took place at a South Jersey sunflower farm. I was really nervous about the photoshoot, not only for me, but also for Casey who does not enjoy taking photos! 🙈 Magi made us both feel so unbelievably comfortable and natural. She also had so many creative cues to make us relax. We received the photos not long after and we were absolutely AMAZED with how they came out! Heading into our wedding with a zillion other stressful weights on our shoulders, Magi helped us create our timeline about a month before our date. She has the day down to a science. She knew exactly how the day should be planned out, and we followed that timeline and the whole entire day up until we were done with portraits. We were able to get all the shots we wanted despite not doing a first look. She was also amazing when it came to coordinating the list of family portraits - we had a pretty long list of group photos and she helped manage the list in the most efficient way possible and the process went very quickly. On our wedding day, not only were both Magi and Scott so professional and organized, they were FUN!! We had a great time laughing and talking before our ceremony, and I know Casey felt the same when Scott was shooting with the guys. It almost felt like we had some more friends attending our wedding who just happened to be capturing every moment! We are so thankful for everything Magi and Scott have done for us and we absolutely cannot wait to see our wedding photos!
