Horrendous service from the banquet manager and her assistant. Multiple corrections needed to get our menu correct and headcount correct. We were charged for too many children, when we clearly stated the number of children at the wedding. I don't want to have to email 5 times to get a simple correction made. This is what the staff does for a living, why was it so difficult to get a menu and headcount correct? The menu choices did not change, and neither did the number of under 21s coming to the wedding. There was one addition of 2 adults, and they ended up not showing up anyway. Jackasses. I also was disgusted by being treated like gum that was scraped off the shoe of the banquet manager. I expect a business email to be answered by the banquet manager, not her assistant, and I expect an answer before two weeks elapse. At first, I thought it was due to the wedding being further out. Not the case. I don't want to have to call and speak to someone. A - that is irritating, and B - I wanted everything for my wedding in writing. C - the banquet manager flat out refused to do the bulk of the things that were in the contract as things she would take care of at the wedding, namely our very simple setup (arch with a strand of lights and some tulle), an aisle runner, and a couple signs next to our card box. D - the fake concern on my wedding day. Get the hell away from me. You've spent the last 6 months during every interaction I've had with you acting like I was someone else's gum you scraped off your shoe. Don't rush up to me on my wedding day, which was additionally stressful due to not having hot water or any freaking power during hair/makeup, and act like you are doting on me. Go to hell. E - The banquet waitstaff were fantastic, they are the only reason this review has any stars at all. They made sure that the menu items were replenished (dinner was family style), and that drinks were kept refilled. They also remembered what people were drinking.
