I knew I wanted Maggie to be our wedding photographer when I saw her photos online. They were unique and stunning! I immediately knew I wanted her when I spoke with her on the phone to answer some questions I had. She was extremely easy to talk to, focused, and listened to everything I had to say. When we met in person, she asked all the right questions because she wanted everything to be perfect on our special day and didn’t want to miss anything. She provided some wedding day timelines because I had no clue where to start.... Maggie and Stacy made our wedding day relaxed and easy and very fun! They laughed with us and had as much fun with it as we did. They seemed more like friends then just photographers we hired. We also got our pictures back in a timely manner and we loved all of them!!!!!! If you want amazing photographs and memories of your special day, hire Maggie:) You won’t regret it!!!!

It was pure magic from the beginning. The moment I met Maggie, I knew instantly she was going to capture and go above and beyond all of our photography needs. Clearly I was spot on with my intuition because 3 years later she still amazes me with her outstanding skills and amazing photos. It all started when we requested Maggie for our engagement and wedding photos. Initially she was busy the weekend of our wedding, we were bummed, but understood. Maggie and my husband had coordinated a pre wedding photo shoot where we took some beautiful Des Moines skyline shots and then ventured over to Woodland Cemetery. Prior to photos- we arranged to have dinner downtown, little did I know, she had a huge surprise up her sleeve. She presented my husband and I with a letter which we thought just listed prices and details of the shoot we were going to do. Oh no. She got us good! It was a letter stating that her prior commitment on our wedding day had been cancelled and she could now do our wedding. I was thrilled because I could tell by her previous work and how instantly we connected over a friendship, she was the perfect fit to capture our big day. She knew how much it would mean to us to have her at our wedding and she wanted to make it as special as possible. The way she put this surprise together was more than I would have ever expected and truly showed how much she cares for her customers. Since then, Maggie has captured all of our family photos and always has the best ideas for scenery and layout. She also goes along with some of my crazy ideas and makes them happen. From fall family photos to dog portraits, she does it all and always shows how much she loves doing it. Maggie is incredibly professional to work with, but never makes a photo shoot uncomfortable or sterile- we are always laughing and having the best time. She is easy to get along with and always wants to make sure you are happy with her work and will do whatever it takes to accomplish that. She’s dedicated to her photography and customers. I recommend Maggie to everyone and anyone (of which many of my friends and family have had photos taken with her now) and I know many people who would say and feel the same. Meeting Maggie was a blessing- she is our lifetime photographer and I am so grateful for that!

Maggie did our engagement and wedding photos. She truly made both experiences feel so comfortable and effortless. Meeting and going over what photos that were important definitely helped with the photos the day of wedding. Helped with the flow of the day when trying to decide how we wanted to do pictures. Our pictures are amazing! Worth every penny!

Maggie is absolutely the BEST! She is so easy to work with, and she is great at communication. Our pics were amazing and if I had to do it again, I would absolutely go with her! ALSO, getting our pictures taken on our wedding day was one of the highlights of a busy whirlwind wedding day! Book Her! She is the best!

I can’t recommend Maggie enough! She is so amazing and so much fun to be around and work with! She became a great friend throughout our engagement and it helped everything go so smoothly the day of our wedding! Her and Stacey perfectly captured the beauty of our dream October wedding. She had over 80 sneak peaks back to us the following day and they were all incredible! I cannot stop obsessing over all the amazing shots they got! I can’t wait to have her capture our family for years and years to come!!!

Maggie Gulling Photography was so wonderful! She took pictures of my wedding week from start to finish and never stopped capturing the moments. She fit in just like part of our family. At the end she gave me the most perfect pictures of a day that was such a blur. I saw things I didn’t even know took place. I highly recommend Maggie for all your wedding photography needs if you are looking for perfection!

In booking photography for our wedding I was hesitant, as candidly, I’m typically not a fan of being in photos and hate the awkwardly posed, unnatural ones you often see. Upon meeting with Maggie, she immediately made us comfortable and was easy to work with. We held a mini ‘engagement session’ prior to the wedding to get a feel for each other and we had so much fun! Maggie made it comfortable and enjoyable, and wow, when the pictures came back I was shocked at how awesome they were. In the past I’d typically only like a couple of photos out of a whole shoot; with Maggie, it was opposite in that we loved nearly all the photos! She has a knack for creativity and catching those little moments. On our wedding day, she and Stacy worked as a two-person team and were beyond fantastic! They helped keep everyone in line and on schedule, and again, caught the sweet moments and best shots. We had our dog, kids, crazy wedding party, and big mixed families and they did amazing with it all. I’ve only seen a few of the sneak peek shots so far but of the couple I’ve seen, I’m already beyond happy. We will absolutely continue working with them in the future for family photos, etc. and I would recommend them both, without hesitation. Thank you Maggie and Stacy for spending our day with us and capturing all the special moments in time!

Maggie has been doing my photos for years. She makes the experience fun and takes the most amazing photos. I will continue to use Maggie for family pictures in the future.
