ce we started dating so we don’t have as many photos together from over the years, and it brought us pure joy to see how Maggie captured our love via her beautiful images! Not only does Maggie take stunningly classic and timeless photos but Maggie made both of us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her kindness, grace, and fun personality mixed with organization, talent, and purpose made the photo shoot that much more enjoyable for us. Maggie has also been incredibly helpful with suggestions for other vendors and guiding us through the beginning of wedding planning. My fiancé and I are still trying to make a decision on the photos for the save the date cards because we love them all!

call with Maggie, my (now) husband and I knew as soon as the call ended we wanted to work with her. I already was in love with her light and airy photography style, but her upbeat, energetic and bubbly personality shone through which really was just icing on the cake. Communication from start to finish was spot on, she was very easy to get in touch with and answered any and all questions we had. Initially we were going to forgo the engagement session since we don’t live in North Carolina, but I am so glad we did! Neither of us were that comfortable or used to having our pictures taken, so her guidance and energy was so helpful and made being photographed FUN, which I never thought my husband would say! Maggie knew exactly how to make us feel like we were hanging out with a friend. The session was a perfect opportunity to get to know Maggie better, and of course we got stunning photos afterwards! On the day of the wedding, we had the same experience as we did with our engagement session. She kept the energy up and was our ultimate hype-woman. During the dancing part of our reception, I noticed a laptop set up on the table that was shuffling through 15 or so images that she had captured during the day. I was blown away with the previews! We also got a glimpse of the vendor gallery within 2 weeks of our wedding day which I loved. I can’t put into words how happy I am that Maggie was the one to capture such a special day for us. I’ve shared the previews on social media and with friends and family, and all the feedback has been comments like beautiful, stunning, etc etc. We get to have these beautiful images for the rest of our lives, and have Maggie to thank for her time, talent, and care. ur engagement photos were going to be so awkward- boy was I wrong! Maggie brought the energy, knew the poses, and was great at guiding my fiancé and I through our shoot. We were dying laughing and having a great time the entire shoot. Our pictures turned out amazing! Her online gallery is very easy to use- makes ordering prints and downloading pictures a breeze. I’m kinda sad that I won’t see her again until our wedding day- she is THAT fun!

line, came to the final walkthrough of our venue, and answered every question my fiancé and I had to help us feel more comfortable. On our wedding day, our first look had to get pushed back by about an hour. Maggie stayed calm, cool and collected, and got some beautiful shots while we were waiting. The temperature during our first look/wedding party photos was sunny and 95 degrees. While we were taking pictures in the shade, Maggie and her assistant, Tori, were in the blistering heat and still managed to get incredible shots and stay super positive. During the wedding, we were pleasantly surprised when Maggie set up a slideshow on a table near the dance floor with a sneak peak of a collection of astounding photos that had been taken up until that point in the night. Maggie and Tori even joined us on the dance floor while snapping photos. Everyone couldn’t stop commenting on how fun they were! Maggie made sure to text me 40 images the day after the wedding, and got a blog post up just a few days post-wedding. This post included over 150 of her favorite images, and they were all amazing. It was so nice to have these so soon after the wedding to share with friends and family. Maggie is so incredibly talented, warm, and professional and did a beautiful job of capturing the day. It’s evident that she genuinely enjoys making connections with everyone she photographs and loves what she does. I would HIGHLY recommend her to photograph any event.

This was especially important to my husband and I because we're both awkward in front of a camera and needed all the help we could get in terms of posing and guidance. She has a ton of energy that lasts through long days. Her photos always come out bright, clean, and classy. I usually hate looking at pictures of myself, but I can't stop looking at our sneak peek blog that we got SO quickly after the wedding. I am so obsessed and will show anyone who's willing. She also shot our engagement shoot this summer and made the stifling heat and humidity tolerable and somehow fun. We knew she was the right pick when we saw the engagement photos because they were gorgeous and actually got us excited to be in front of a camera our whole wedding day, which is something we were actually dreading before! We were luckily so wrong! Her second shooter was great and had a calming energy that really helped me when I got nervous before our first look. We got married in Winston-Salem and Maggie was super willing to drive over here at times most convenient to us. 12 out of 10 stars for Maggie!

met her on a cool December afternoon for our engagement pictures, from the minute we stepped out of the car her bubbly personality captured us! Not once have we ever regretted our decision. We've been crazy about her ever since. My hubby has stated that he was prepared for a little awkwardness, being that your love for someone, while the most beautiful aspect of life it is also the most personal - he has not once experienced it with Maggie. She makes is so comfortable and natural. She is so full of JOY and pure LOVE for what she does. Its not a job to her, it is her PASSION - she was called to do this. Maggie has photographed several sessions for us - engagement, save-the-date, bridal portraits, additional session with the bride, and 8 hours of wedding coverage. Seriously, we are obsessed with Maggie! One of our very favorite things about Maggie is that she always keeps the experience going. Most photographers would send you a link and/or mail a USB of your wedding photos and be done. However, Maggie invited us over to her beautiful home and cooked for us! She then presented us with our wedding album, we went through every picture! We spent hours laughing and reliving our wedding day! We also received the most beautiful little box with a few 5x7 photos printed and our USB with pictures. Maggie has become part of our family. A "wedding vendor" or "photographer" is what most people expect, however we have gained a lifelong friend. I've joked with Maggie stating she's stuck with us, we just LOVE her that much. We've already planned on her photographing future pregnancy reveals, births, and family portraits. The beauty to see love come full circle and having one photographer capturing it all! Its one thing for somebody to do a good job and feel you can recommend them for work (and we SO DO) - its an entirely different story when you love somebody so much you want to take them along on your entire love journey.
