hey could not believe how above and beyond she went throughout our entire wedding process. When I first talked to Maggie over the phone I knew she was the perfect match for us. She was personable, joyful, and ready to do anything she could to make our experience perfect! She instantly sent me a wedding timeline, and set up anything we needed for the big day. Our engagement session was absolutely incredible. We were able to meet with Maggie in Colorado, one of our favorite places, to capture them. At first, we were nervous behind the camera, but Maggie eased our nerves by making the whole session so much fun! This is what Maggie does best. She captures you! She captured our relationship and the joy that we share together. We could not have been happier with how our entire experience from engagement photos, to bridals, to the wedding went. Every session somehow more magical then the last. Even our family and friends noticed instantly how wonderful Maggie was. They said she was incredible throughout the whole wedding day. Some friends shared how they loved that she was organized, always on time, and very kind while sticking to the schedule. They said that they had not always had that experience where the photographer was organized, yet relaxed making the group photos fun! We cannot think of a single thing we would change about our experience with Maggie. We are just so thankful that we found the perfect photographer for us. It brings us so much joy to look at our wedding photos, they are truly magical!

We hired her to do our engagement photos and our wedding. Maggie made my fiancé and I comfortable and had us laughing during our engagement session! It was probably one of my favorite date nights! We did the engagement session early because we wanted time to get the photographs back and work on our save the dates. Maggie sent us around 200 photos within two weeks from our session! It was incredibly fast, and the photographs blew me away! I am obsessed with them! Leading up to the wedding, Maggie also acted as a planner and a resource. She sent me advice columns on different aspects and answered all my questions regarding different parts of the wedding. She even sent us an entire packet answering common questions, helping us pick out outfits, etc. She would answer my questions before I even knew I had one to ask. Leading up to the day, she was incredibly instrumental in managing our timeline. I recently went to two weddings for my friends that ran quite late and off schedule. I expressed my concerns, and Maggie handled everything flawlessly. She kept us running on schedule and even ahead of schedule at some points! At the wedding she arrived at the venue early – even before me! She was running around taking photos of EVERYTHING. I absolutely loved her. She was one of the BEST decisions we made when we were planning our wedding! After the wedding, we got our photos back in less than a month. We received over 1000 all completely edited images!!! Our photographs were STUNNING! Our wedding album is absolutely gorgeous. I HIGHLY recommend her! We already booked her to do family photos next year!

e such amazing talent with a great eye for color, composition, and style. They both also had great attention to details and listened to our concerns and what we wanted. Since I was planning the wedding from Michigan, Maggie and Rachel were very flexible with their schedule and we were even able to squeeze in a last-minute engagement photoshoot. They also made us feel comfortable with posing and was great with directions. We received our photos at lightning speed- our engagement photos came the next day, we saw a sneak peek of our wedding photos only a couple days later, and then we saw our entire wedding gallery just a little over a week after the wedding! I am a very picky and meticulous bride and someone who is difficult to please (so sorry about that!) and I am so grateful and lucky that I have Maggie and Rachel as my photographers- they were always so patient, kind, and understanding with me. most stressful parts in planning a wedding, so I was very anxious when we started looking at different ones in the area. She was originally referred to us through our wedding coordinator and after meeting with her, we hired her right away! She is so calm and easy going it is so hard not to like her or work well with her. She made my husband and I feel so relaxed throughout our engagement shoot. We truly felt like we just got to be our normal weird selves and we could not be happier with our final outcome. But Maggie (MaggShots) made sure to capture every special moment between my husband and I and our families. She somehow also made me look like a beautiful bride in every photo. Even when my engagement pictures included three rowdy dogs, mosquito swarms, make-up melting 100 degree heat, and a cut foot, she managed to make the images look stunning. I get compliments all the time about how amazing my pictures look and people are in awe of her work. My step-father even said that my wedding was gorgeous, but Maggie's pictures showed every elegant detail and just made it look all that more beautiful. I seriously cannot rave enough about Maggie and her team.

She goes over the top with her customer service, from watching the weather the day of and informing me as needed to sending us a Starbucks gift card the week before our wedding to ensure we had a reason to sneak away for a date night. She’s efficient with her timing of the sessions and returns your images to you in a timely manner as well. We returned from our honeymoon to find a complimentary canvas print of our wedding photos, amongst a gift basket of goodies and even more prints. THAT is exceptional service! There is no doubt Maggie now has a special place in our hearts. She’s known to be more than our wedding photographer but someone who played a very special part of our big day! e me feel comfortable the entire time. I'll admit that I have no clue what to do in front of a camera, but Maggie is great at telling you how to pose so that she can get that perfect shot! She takes into consideration areas of your body that make you feel uncomfortable or maybe you don't want shown in a photo, which is very comforting. She makes the shoots fun and enjoyable. At our wedding she captured every moment, and all the photos were stunning. She was also a big help in putting together our wedding day timeline. Our images arrived much quicker than I thought and were easy to share with others. Maggie is fantastic and I would never hesitate to use her again or recommend her to friends or family.

I picked my venue after only looking at 2, dress in 30 minutes, and knew I didn’t want to talk to multiple photographers. Therefore, I was putting a lot of trust into this referral, since I didn’t do my own vetting. Maggie did our engagements and wedding pictures. The engagement pictures were beautiful, and she made someone who hates taking pictures (me) feel comfortable and beautiful. The pictures were incredible, but I want to highlight the wedding in this review. Our whole wedding plan, was a unique one. Most of our guests thought they were coming for a reception only, but we had a surprise ceremony planned. When I told my plan to some people, they furrowed their brows, but Maggie was totally on board and super excited about something different. I was relieved. Come wedding day, wow, I was a ball of emotions. Being the anti-bride I was, I was shocked that I was so emotional. Maggie caught every single emotion perfectly. Looking at my pictures, there is no doubt of what my husband, dad, family, friends, and I were feeling in every moment. My favorite compliment I received from sharing my pictures, “Wow! Your photographer was amazing, she really captured all of your emotions beautifully.” My package also included a USB of our images from the wedding and engagement pictures. I was expecting a padded envelope with a USB. Nope, not Maggshots! Maggie put together a beautiful package with smell goods, a handful of printed pictures, and the USB. It was such a beautiful surprise. I highly recommend Maggie at Maggshots Photography, she makes every one of her couples feel like they are her most important favorite customers. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer.

She delivered beautiful, clear photographs and creatively combined them into attractive spreads. The tasteful guestbook she designed was a great touch for the reception!
