Amanda was such an incredible wedding planner. She was so helpful through the entire process; providing expert advice, giving insight on details I didn’t even consider, perfectly executed the event, and one of my most valued traits- incredibly responsive. I had a more complex venue than I’d say most and Amanda really helped pull it all together. I am so happy I got to work with her and recommend from the bottom of m heart!!
We are so grateful to the Magical Moments team for helping us plan our wedding. From start to finish, we were confident that we were on track and planning a great celebration and we had the best day ever! From the beginning, Amanda was a kind, calming, and knowledgeable presence who helped us plan our Indianapolis wedding from afar while we were living in Chicago. She was such a pro and we genuinely enjoyed meeting with her to discuss every detail of wedding planning.
We already felt like Amanda was an amazing choice but she really blew us away in the weeks leading up to the wedding and on our wedding weekend. She communicated and confirmed with all of our vendors for us. When we had to make a last minute decision to move our ceremony inside due to rain, we never were worried because we knew Amanda would expertly handle all of the coordination--and she did! We got so many compliments from our family and bridal party about how smooth our rehearsal went due to Amanda's guidance.
We really feel that we could not have had our day without Amanda and Ava effortlessly coordinating behind the scenes and helping with all of the little details you would never think of: holding umbrellas, bringing snacks, fixing hair, ordering pizza, making sure my comfy dancing shoes were at the dinner table ready to be worn--I could go on and on! Because of their help, every member of my family and bridal party could be truly present for the entire day and we did not have to worry about running around to fix last minute details or make sure people were in their correct places. They even packed everything in our car at the end of the night!! Having their help so that all of our loved ones could spend the entire day with us worry free was truly priceless.
The weirdest thing about wedding planning is spending so much time with your vendors during the planning process and then having to say goodbye in a few minutes at the end of the night at the wedding. We truly felt like Amanda had become a friend throughout our planning process and we will miss her.
In short, we cannot say enough good things about our experience. Thank you Amanda and Ava and the Magical Moments squad!!
Coming from someone who initially didn’t want to hire a planner… the Magical Moments crew was an absolutely necessary part of our planning and wedding day!!! We literally could not have done it without them. Amanda and Lora and Ava are amazing people to work with, and just to be around in general. We hired them as our day-of coordinators, but they consistently went above and beyond for us, attending meetings, coming up with creative ideas, and effectively communicating with all of our vendors and keeping everyone on track. When vendors weren’t getting back with us, and when things didn’t go as planned during the planning process, Magical Moments was there to save the day.
Our wedding party was a combined total of 16 people, and somehow Amanda was able to wrangle everyone and our ceremony started at 5pm sharp, as planned. Not a minute late.
Our wedding day flowed sooo smoothly and was an absolute dream from start to finish, and we owe it all to Magical Moments. You do not want to plan a wedding without them.
I absolutely cannot recommend Magical Moments enough! I had a NYE wedding and my girl Amanda was EVERYTHING. Not only did she see my vision perfectly, but the amount of stress she took away by her organized genius made the day so enjoyable. I cannot speak highly enough about Amanda and the incredible Magical Moments Team. On my wedding day, friends and family remarked that I was the calmest bride they had ever seen, and I owe that entirely to Amanda and her team. We started working with Amanda from the very beginning, right after our engagement, and she guided us through every step of the planning journey. Her support ensured a smooth process from the get go.
Having an expert like Amanda to bounce ideas off and seek advice from, especially regarding vendor selection, was invaluable. As the wedding day got closer, Amanda was there to address all our questions and alleviate any concerns. I hired a day of coordinator, but what I received was day of angels. These ladies work HARD. We met multiple times to get to know myself and now husband. She touched based with my vendors the week of and helped take a lot of tasks off my shoulders.
They really worked their magic the day of the wedding. Rain wasn't on the forecast, but it came. Before it was raining, Amanda started moving construction barrels so they wouldn't be in my shot as I walked down the aisle. She quickly figured out a solution to an indoor ceremony that was beautiful. I sincerely would have had an anxiety attack without Amanda and her team on my day. I became very thirsty before my ceremony, and she even offered her water bottle. Her talent really knows no limits.
Days after our wedding, I asked my husband what his favorite part was. Even though I spent hours on every single detail, his favorite detail of our wedding was the day of coordinator. If you are getting married, you NEED these girls.

he Magical Moments team was amazing! The day of coordination package made the entire wedding seamless, from planning the day to working with vendors. And more importantly keeping everyone calm. If your budget allows, I recommend having this team for the entire wedding process. They will make your day magical!
Booking Magical Moments for month-of coordination for my wedding was by far the best decision I made during the planning process. Technically our contract outlined that their services would be for the month of my wedding but Lora and Amanda went above and beyond and started organizing and helping at least 3 months out. They always made themselves available and were so responsive to all of our needs. It was so incredibly helpful to have Lora assist with all of the details, big and small, and help us know what to expect as I was the first to get married in my family. They also managed all of our RSVPs and food choices which was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Lora ran the entire rehearsal dinner with 20 people in the bridal party, 2 big families, and 4 kids so smoothly and helped us prepare for our wedding day. On wedding day, Lora took care of absolutely everything from the programs to the seat assignments to hanging the welcome sign. I didn't have to think about any of the smaller details and could enjoy every second of my wedding day thanks to Lora. I cannot recommend Magical Moments enough! We are so thankful for them and had the absolute best wedding thanks to Lora and Amanda!
Lora was absolutely amazing to work with. She was able to take my vision and make it perfect. I was in grad school and didn’t have a lot of free time and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have been able to do it with our her. She made planning so easy, has so many great contacts, and really knows the industry.
Magical Moments were truly a LIFE SAVER during the wedding process. We originally weren’t going to have a day of wedding coordinator, but decided that we definitely needed it. So glad we did! We got so many compliments from our guests from just how well things were run. I can thank them for all of that!

Lora provides exceptional service. My daughter lives out of state and was not able to fly in for any wedding meetings or planning prior to the wedding, or meet with any of the vendors prior to the wedding. Lora did an incredible job getting the wedding organized, coordinating everything between the vendors, and keeping both my daughter and myself up to date on everything. My daughter was able to fly in and have a perfect wedding, all thanks to Lora! She truly provides exceptional customer service.
Lora and her staff did a wonderful job as the wedding day coordinator for the Thomas/Giffin wedding last weekend at the Wedding Garden in Indianapolis. All of the many details of the wedding day were carefully outlined in advance following extensive conversations with the Bride and the Bride's family. Lora handled the wedding ceremony lineup and coordinating the music with the DJ making my job as the officiant much easier. Lora is great to work with and very thorough in her approach.
Amanda & Lora did such an amazing job! They made wedding planning fun & easy and had great vendor recommendations. Their day-of coordination is top notch and we didn't have to worry about a single thing! Having Magical Moments as our wedding planners made our day truly special. I cannot thank the team at Magical Moments for being such a big part of making our wedding day so special and perfect! Lora and Amanda were able to alleviate SO much stress, and make the entire planning process fun! You really don’t realize how many little details there are, but they have everything under control. Every time I thought of something to worry about, it was already handled. The MM team was able to bring my design vision to life, and had décor items we could use that came together beautifully. That was super important, as we wanted a beautiful ceremony and reception, but we needed to stay on budget. MM delivered! Covid-19 really made things crazy, but Lora and Amanda were on top of everything. Safety was top priority, while still making sure we had the best day of our lives! They were able to adjust our food service and help with last minute vendor changes. Anything we needed, they were there for us. Thank you, Magical Moments, for helping us have our dream wedding!
Lora and Amanda are such an amazing team and were such a huge help in planning my wedding a couple months ago! My husband and I were engaged for nearly 2.5 years before we finally said I do and they kept us on track throughout the long engagement to make sure we were getting things done when we needed to. Our planning process was complicated not only by the pandemic but also the fact that we were planning everything from 2.5 hours north of our venue and the rest of our vendors. Lora and Amanda were always so quick to respond to emails and always made time for phone calls if there was just too much to discuss online. Prior to hiring them, we had already booked the venue but I was completely overwhelmed with the sheer number of options for the other vendors. It was such an enormous help having Lora and Amanda there to recommend vendors that they've worked with in the past and who fit what we were looking for on our special day. The day itself was perfect and if there were problems, we nor our parents or families ever knew about them nor had to deal with fixing them. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Magical Moments Event Planning!
Lora and Amanda made our wedding day perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planning team to help us. Lora was transparent and in constant communication with us, and was always available to answer frantic emails and texts. She stayed up-to-date with COVID restrictions and how that would affect our venues and vendors. And she saved us from more than one sticky situation, including booking a new hairstylist at the eleventh hour and moving heaven and earth to allow us to keep the band we booked at our reception venue. Our entire wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we owe it all to Lora and Amanda for ensuring that everything ran smoothly. My husband and I were able to enjoy the wedding day without a worry in the world because we knew they were keeping us on schedule and handling everything behind the scenes! Lora was absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend her enough.
We hosted my daughter's wedding on our property. Magical Moments not only helped us plan but took care of all the details on the day of the wedding which was the best. I didn't have to run around like crazy making sure the details got worked out, instead I was able to enjoy this important day!
Magical Moments is absolutely amazing. I really wish I would have decided on having planners earlier in the process of wedding planning. Between Lorai and Amanda, they were both full of knowledge of venues around the Indianapolis area; it definitely could have helped me pick my venue better. I hired MM as day-of-coordinators to go along with my venue because I wanted to have that extra support without anyone actually depending on me as a bride, the bridesmaids or my mom. Amanda and Grace definitely made that happen when the time came. Anything we discussed ahead of the wedding day, they handled that day. Also, when there was a hiccup with a vendor, Amanda immediately got on the phone to clarify the issue. What I appreciate the most out of the process is any time I had a question, they reached out as soon as they could to clarify. But even more than that, during COVID-19 they asked the venue questions without me even asking them to. That was the type of help I needed and truly appreciated overall. Amanda is a pleasure to work with and a huge help, so worth every penny spent. She went above and beyond in helping me plan and make decisions. Her team wrangled the 26 people in our wedding party, ensuring everything went smoothly and timely. She made sure the day was perfect. We hired Amanda as our Day of Coordinator and our vision was pulled together flawlessly! However, Amanda was more then a Day of Coordinator. She did more then organize details and set things up. Hiring Magical Moments was the BEST decision we made for the wedding day! Amanda is truly an expert in the business and so fun to work with! Even as a day of coordinator, she met with us 3 times before the wedding and helped us remember all the small details. She listens well, takes amazing notes, and remembers everything along the way. She has recommendations on every vendor from DJs to florists to wedding dress alterations.
If anything went wrong during the wedding day, I didn’t know about it because Amanda took care of everything! She arranged all of the décor at the reception exactly as I had envisioned and even brought décor over from the ceremony to the reception. She ran our rehearsal and wedding ceremony flawlessly. I’m so thankful that we chose Magical Moments for our wedding day, and I would choose them again every time!
My husband and I hired Lora and her team for planning our wedding and day of coordination. I could not be happier with everything she did for us!! I lived out of state, was unfamiliar with the area, and was finishing up school. Lora found vendors that would help make my wedding vision a reality. She did such a good job coordinating with my vendors I only had to have introduction conversations with them the week before the wedding, everything else was already coordinated. As for the day of coordination, Lora and her team ensured that my vision came to life at the venue and far exceeded my expectations. Everything went so smoothly and perfectly at the wedding so I was able to just enjoy the whole experience with my new husband! I couldn’t have asked for anything more, the whole process was very stress free for me. I even had a few of my vendors say how calm and care free I sounded during those introduction calls. She by far exceeded my expectations and I would strongly recommend her for planning your perfect day!! We hired Magical Moments for our Day-Of Coordination; it was, without a doubt, the best thing that we did/spent money on.
They were constantly in communication with us, handled a family issue with grace and razor-sharp precision as we asked them to, and made sure that we had time to ourselves and that we ate. They took so much off of our plates and it was such a relief to have them on our team. Amanda even helped to re-do my Mother-in-Law's hair after she wasn't happy with how it all turned out!! They're fantastic!
Amanda and Lora were seriously AMAZING!!!! So many couples I know decide to pick family members to coordinate the day and help decorate, which can result in a ton of chaos, as I've witnessed having use to photograph weddings in the past. I cannot tell you how happy and satisfied I was for hiring them. They literally took care of EVERYTHING. My family, parents, and friends all got to relax without having to run around making sure vendors were in communication and that the day was running smoothly. Since I hired their coordinator services only, I provided my own decorations and did most of the planning, and they made the venue look absolutely gorgeous as well as contacted all my vendors for me which took a ton of stress off my shoulders. I would definitely recommend their full planning service though. Planning was still pretty crazy doing it on my own and looking back I wish I would have bought the full planning package. I kept in contact with Amanda the most and we met once every 3 months or so to keep each other updated and she gave me so much advice throughout my planning at each meeting. As soon as I met with Amanda the first time, I knew I made the best decision ever. If you're like me and have a specific way of doing things then Magical Moments is the way to go. My day was absolutely perfect and I owe a lot of that to this company THANK YOU Amanda & Lora for making Mine and my Husband's day a dream come true. Everyone should Hire them.
We can’t thank Amanda and Lora enough for all the hard work that they put into our wedding. We purchased the partial planning option along with their design and décor package. With the partial planning option we were allowed to pick and choose what vendors we wanted the planners to take care of, and what we could handle on our own, which was perfect for us. With Amanda and Lora’s guidance it made planning our wedding an enjoyable experience. They are very knowledgeable and experienced in Indianapolis and the surrounding area. They provided us with excellent recommendations for vendors which they had worked with previously. This was crucial for us, as neither of us were being native to Indianapolis.
During the wedding they were on top of every part of the schedule. Making sure people were where they needed to be at the right time, and making everything flow smoothly. They would even get us beer at the bar. We never felt nervous or stressed about any part/detail of the timeline throughout the day.
We have already recommended them to friends in the area and will continue to do so.
Magical Moments truly made everything magical for our big day. My now hisband asked when we were planning, “so why do we need wedding coordinators?” Well let me tell you he was the first to say how thankful he was to have Amanda and Lora there for us. They made everything so smooth and easy. From getting everything set up, to running out during our big day for allergy medicine when my bridesmaid had an allergic reaction to the hand soap (not kidding!) They tag teamed everything and at the end of the night, everyone from family to friends were able to just enjoy and jump in their cars and leave. Thank you ladies for everything!!!!
Amanda and Lora were great to work with. They were very comfortable to talk to and express my needs and wants, and I felt a sense of friendship with them, making the planning process great. They planned multiple wedding vision boards for me based off of our convos and my Pinterest boards. They helped me find great vendors to match my budget. And during the wedding Amanda was very head strong, and took control of the event wonderfully. Loved them and they helped prevent many headaches 😊
The ladies of Magical Moments Event Planning are absolutely incredible! Throughout the process of planning my wedding I was out of state for nearly the entire time, and the way they handled everything that needed to be done relieved me of so much stress! Both ladies are so kind, so professional, and above all so passionate about their work, I could not possibly recommend any planner duo more highly. Amanda and Lora were AMAZING. I hired them for the Day Of package and they went above and beyond just the "day of". My fiance and I were living in Atlanta and planning a long distance wedding to take place in Indiana and MM really gave me peace of mind with every skype session we had with them. I trusted Amanda and Lora completely, so much so that when it came time to decorate the tent for the reception, I just gave them my decor and said "have at it"! When I walked into the tent once it was all done I couldn't believe how perfect everything was... it matched my style and my vision and the best part was that they took care of it for me so I could enjoy the day and get ready with all the people I love. Amanda is so fun and always has a huge smile on her face, which may not sound like a lot but really makes a world of difference when you're a nervous bride. Thank you Amanda and Lora for making our perfect day all the more perfect.
Amanda from magical moments did a great job as Day-of-Coordinator at my wedding. She made our wedding day go smooth and I don't know what I would have done without her. Amanda met with me over Skype several times and collaborated with all of my vendors before the wedding. She was always available by text or email. Amanda and her assistant helped with the wedding rehearsal to make sure the bridal party knew when to walk down the aisle and where to stand. On the day of the wedding I decided I wanted the outdoor tent to come down since the weather was cooperating. Also, the dance floor was way too small and I wanted the vendor to come back and make the dance floor bigger. Amanda called both vendors and assisted me with these last minute changes. I did not have to worry at all while I was getting ready, because I knew she was taking care of it and I trusted her. In addition, she helped set up wedding favors on all the guests tables, place personal pictures and decorations around the reception hall, assist the groomsmen with ushering and passing out ceremony programs, pass out and light sparklers for the sparkler send-off, and so much more.
During the wedding reception, I got really hot and needed to change out of my wedding dress into a different dress to be more comfortable. They stopped everything they were doing and went to my hotel room to get another dress for me to wear. In addition, I had my dogs in my wedding and she made sure they were taken care of and fed/walked before they came down the aisle.
The whole day was great, however, the only one thing that I wish could have been taken care of was the sound for the video my dad made. The video was suppose to have sound with it, but due to the DJ not bringing a long enough cord, the video was soundless. I wish someone would have helped find a way to get the sound working.
Amanda and her assistant Erica were so nice to work with. They always had a positive attitude and I could tell they really cared that our wedding day went well and was just how we wanted it. I will recommend Amanda from Magical Moments to my friends and family when they get married.
Magical Moments Event Planning truly lived up to their name and made our wedding day the most magical day of our lives! We hired Magical Moments for their day of coordination package and everything came together so seamlessly - my husband and I could not thank them enough! Amanda was our primary contact, though we did work closely with Lora, and Whitney played a huge role on the day of the wedding. Each and every one of them were professional and willing to work with us to make sure our wedding day would be perfect! From the meetings held before the wedding date, to contacting all of our vendors, to the rehearsal, to setting up our wedding decor, to handling every aspect the day of the wedding - this team exceeded all expectations! Magical Moments did a wonderful job with our wedding. We were planning on getting married outside but on the day of the wedding it rained. On a day that could have been filled with stress because of the weather, I felt no stress at all. They took care of everything. They even made sure we had umbrellas and tents to stay dry. They were so detailed in their schedule, contacted every vendor, and communicate so well to us. On the day of the wedding she made all the final calls and took care of all the behind the scene craziness so that we did not have to worry about a thing. Everything came together beautifully and we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day.
Where do I begin???....... I had absolutely NO plans to hire a wedding coordinator. What was I thinking?? From the very first phone call with Magical Moments, I was hooked!! I could not have pulled off the most beautiful and amazing wedding without them. Amanda and Lora returned every email and phone call within a reasonable time. They helped me tremendously with major aspects of the wedding, they definitely have an eye to detail and their EXCELLENT and strong interpersonal skills made the day of my wedding a very stress free, fun day for me to enjoy. Amanda and Lora oversaw EVERY detail and ensured that everything went smoothly and it most certainly did! Amanda and Lora are an excellent team and were such a pleasure to have at the wedding. Magical Moments was the best investment I made out of the entire wedding.

At our first meeting with Magical Moments, I knew we had to hire them. It was essential that we hired someone to help plan and make recommendations since we lived out of town. Lora & Amanda were so personal and so genuine but always maintained that professional balance. They asked questions about us and wanted to get a good feel for what we were looking for. I loved their energy and how passionate they were about our wedding. I cannot stress enough how much better off we were in the long run because we hired them for Full Service package and it ended up saving us so much money!! Lora and Amanda were efficient, organized, helpful, kind, detail-oriented, has impeccable taste, and they were not phased but the incessant questions I asked! They handled the details and helped keep everything on track. In particular, they helped us save so much money on my wedding dress, transportation, our photo booth, photographer, room blocks, flowers, DJ, Band, linens, etc.....you name it and they negotiated it no matter what and made it work! The money there were able to save us was more than worth their personal fee.

Magical moments were life savers! We thought we had everything under control until about three months out and we quickly noticed we needed some extra help putting the final touches on our big day. Lora and Amanda stepped right in and took charge. From leading up to our day they offered valuable advice and tips and tricks. On our wedding day, they were so professional, made sure every thing flowed so smoothly. They were key in creating the best day of our lives!!
Our original wedding was planned for May, but we found out we were expecting in November. Magical Moments stepped up to the challenge of putting together a wedding for January. We had two months to put together a wedding and they went above and beyond our expectations. It was the most beautiful and least stressful day.
