As any bride planning a (hopefully) fully outdoor wedding knows, the weather can be your biggest source of stress. I was initially reluctant to reserve a rain tent, but I could not...
be more grateful that we did. Magnif-A-Tent already provides the celebration tent on-site at our venue, so it was an easy decision to work with them again when we considered adding a clear tent over the courtyard.
Leading up to the wedding, the weather was constantly changing, and Megan was incredibly patient, communicative, and understanding. She never pressured us to make a quick decision and worked through multiple scenarios with us. Even though the day turned out to be beautiful and we didn’t need the tent for rain, we made the call earlier that week to move forward with draped sides and we’re so glad we did.
The tent ended up being more than just a backup plan—it actually enhanced the overall aesthetic. It gave the courtyard a beautifully defined space, and the draped sides added a sense of elegance that made it feel like we were in Europe. It elevated the reception in a way we hadn’t expected.
While tents are certainly an investment, the peace of mind alone made it worth it, and in the end, we loved the final look. The Magnif-A-Tent team was easy to work with, and Megan’s kindness and professionalism made a potentially stressful process feel seamless. We’re so happy we chose them!
Magnif-A-Tent Party Rentals: Absolutely MAGNIFICENT!
From the moment I first connected with Magnif-A-Tent, I knew they were the perfect choice for our wedding. I initially spoke w...
ith Meghan for two hours on the phone, and her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for helping us plan our special day was immediately apparent. She truly listened to our vision and offered invaluable guidance every step of the way.
Meghan provided virtual layouts of tables and chairs, which was incredibly helpful in visualizing the space. She even helped us source a disco ball to add some extra sparkle to our tent! Five days before our wedding, a hurricane threatened to derail our plans. Megan proactively contacted us, reassuring us that they would install sidewalls and even offered to cover the walkway to protect our guests from the rain. Thankfully, the storm passed, and the Magnif-A-Tent team went above and beyond, removing all the sidewalls before we even arrived to ensure our day was absolutely perfect. They were meticulous, even ensuring the tent poles wouldn't obstruct our guests' views.
They offered lighting with a dimmer, allowing us to adjust the ambiance throughout the reception. One of the co-owners even came on the morning of the wedding to personally inspect the tent after the previous night's winds, demonstrating their commitment to perfection. Meghan’s communication was outstanding, both via email and phone, even while she was on vacation!
The tent itself was breathtaking. Spotlessly clean (unlike some of the tents we'd seen at other venues), with a brilliantly white ceiling that beautifully reflected the colored lights. Magnif-A-Tent also set up our stunning black and white checkered dance floor with large squares, perfectly complementing our wedding's theme.
This family-run business operates with an unparalleled level of professionalism. If you're looking for a tent for any occasion on Long Island, I wholeheartedly recommend Magnif-A-Tent Party Rentals without reservation. They are simply the best!
