I knew right then and there I had to hire them. I still wanted to plan most of it myself, so I hired them as our coordinators instead. Brittni was the planner who was assigned to us and I can tell you right now, it was absolutely worth every single penny spent. The check ins were super helpful and Brittni got me thinking ahead of schedule so that every time I talked to any of my other vendors I was fully prepared. The vendor list was also a wonderful perk. A lot of times I didn't know where to start looking for vendors since my family and I are not originally from the Charlotte area, and I utilized this list many times. Sometimes it helped me book amazing vendors, but other times it led me to different paths to find those vendors. Either way, super helpful. The wedding planning site is very user friendly and was another great resource to help me stay on task when I wasn't working directly with Brittni. The whole wedding planning process, I kept joking with everyone that the only thing I wanted to worry about on my wedding day was when the next drink was going in my hand, and I can tell you that was absolutely the case with Magnificent Moments (thought I only had two drinks the whole day haha). Brittni handled all the communication with vendors and all I had to do was show up and enjoy the day I have been waiting my whole life for. She was absolutely amazing, especially when it came to making sure my husband and I got our private cocktail hour that we wanted.

When my the bottom of my dress was snagging on my heels right before my ceremony, she immediately knew what to do! Taped the top of my heels and off I went down the aisle without an issue. On the day, she coordinated everything while I drank mimosas. Honestly, just that aspect was worth every penny. I was a DIY bride with a lot of moving pieces, vendors, and guests and she kept everything organized and made my day stress free so I could just focus on me, my husband, and my guests. I would recommend Kristen and MMW to anyone planning a wedding. Even if you have a tight budget, you won't regret finding room in it for these guys.

y-of coordination, where Ashton took over every single detail, leaving us completely stress-free during the months leading up to the wedding. Highlights included a 4-month out meeting where we handed over all details to Ashton for vendor and timeline management, Ashton and Allison joining us for our final walkthrough of the venue a month out and taking over all remaining coordination including meeting us at our house the week of the wedding to pick up all design items we bought, leading a very well structured and fun rehearsal the day before and finally making the ENTIRE wedding day stress-free and seamless. We truly still have no idea what was going on behind the scenes with the setup or if there were any hiccups as it all went completely perfectly from our point of view. Ashton and Allison were diligent about making sure we were taken care of with food, drinks and whatever we needed. Ashton even cut/reclipped my extensions during a hair malfunction – the true hero of the wedding! One important part of hiring a coordinator for us was having someone deal with the post-wedding breakdown as most venues require everything to be out that night, we left immediately following our exit and Ashton and Allison handled clean up and even dropped off everything that belonged to us- flowers, food, etc. at our house that night. Finally, both Ashton and Allison were so fun to be around- personable and truly made the day stress-free, allowing us to be present. Highly recommend them and Magnificent Moments!

she felt like she completely got us and our style. While Amanda had to step away, Brittni came to our rescue after our wedding was rescheduled due to covid. Everyone at magnificent moments made us feel amazing. They helped us narrow down the options to make it more manageable for us to select the best option without having to feel overwhelmed! All the vendors they recommended were fabulous! They had everything covered, especially the day of. Things we wouldn’t have even of thought about were covered without us having to ask! They took on all of the communications with all of our vendors which made our process feel seamless, especially since we were no longer living in NC. Brittni even went out of her way to pick up our guest favors, making it easy on us even when we were back in town! other rentals, bathroom rentals, generators, golf cart, etc. She helped me figure out exactly what we needed and who we should get it from. She would answer any question I had and would text me back very quickly even into the late hours of the night. She gave me so many recommendations for vendors and helped reach out to some of the smaller vendors I had left. She would also help me communicate with the bigger vendors to coordinate specific details and it made it so much easier on me! If you're looking for someone to help you in the process of wedding planning I would definitely recommend, but if you are looking for someone to plan for you, I would recommend going with the full wedding planning package! The coordinator package was perfect for what we needed helping to coordinate a few months before the wedding and Kristen was at the wedding with an assistant for day of coordinating as well as the days leading up to it.

Her expertise and knowledge helped guide me through making decisions as big as what vendor I needed to coordinate with next, to the finer details such as who was best to escort whom down the aisle. our amazing wedding planner Shelby. We have extremely busy lives and were planning a Charlotte wedding from Texas. Therefore, we knew that we needed a full wedding planner. We interviewed several different Charlotte-based wedding planning companies, but were most impressed with Shelby and knew that her vibe matched what we needed. We could not imagine our wedding journey without Shelby by our side. She kept us on track the whole time, was always available when we needed her, and would reach out to us when we got so busy with our schedules that we had not checked in with her. Shelby was always incredibly patient and understanding with us all along the way. There were a few things we were quite picky about, such as asking her for a lot of recommendations for photography/videography as we searched for the perfect one, and she knocked it out of the park providing us with so many fantastic vendor options that ultimately made our day so special. Every time we had a random or crazy idea, Shelby was down to figure out how it could be done and definitely had a “never hurts to try/ask” attitude that meshed so well with our wedding vision. Just as the entire planning journey with Shelby was exceptionally smooth, we knew we could trust her to ensure that the big day would be as perfect as possible. We had countless obstacles come up that were out of our hands leading up to the wedding, but Shelby’s calm and solutions-focused demeanor was perfect in supporting us through them. Both she and her assistant Haley made sure everything went off without a hitch on the day of, and we have heard from countless guests and people within our wedding party who were impressed with how smooth our wedding schedule was. We have been to and been in weddings where it was clear that the planner/coordinator did not have all their ducks in a row, and it negatively impacted the experience of guests. We definitely give so much credit to Shelby for many of the compliments we are still getting about how fun our wedding was. She definitely helped make our dreams come true. We cannot recommend Shelby/MMW enough!

With a change in weather, we quickly had to make adjustments 30 minutes before guest arrived. The wedding ceremony, cocktail and reception went off seamlessly. As if there had been no last minute changes at all! We could not have done it without Kristen. We have no regrets in hiring Magnificent Moments for my daughter's wedding at The Mint Museum. Everything was done in a calm manner on time. Nothing on her plate was left to the last minute. She took care of everything on the day of, even moving alpacas around. Yes you read that right. I am so grateful to have found her. I had ZERO worries that day, even when it started raining bc I knew she had everything handled. Nothing ent wrong, or at least that I know of! Any hiccups must have been taken care of behind the scenes without me knowing. I cannot emphasize this enough, if money is tight AT LEAST hire MMW for day-of coordination

Brittni was my coordinator and she was great to work with. The day of the wedding she and her assistant were indispensable, making sure everything went as planned. She was able to navigate a few minor bumps and keep it all going as smoothly as possible.

Several of the vendors I ending up choosing had worked with Amanda before, and had nothing but good things to say about her kindness & work ethic - and I agree! Amanda helped my mom and I prioritize what needed to get done in the time frame it needed to, and if we had any questions or concerns, she was quick to respond or do research to make sure our questions or specific needs were answered and taken care of. Our wedding day was truly the best day ever – and I do think that such a large part of that comes from Amanda going above-and-beyond to ensure everything was taken care of - from setting up the details to making sure everything ran to schedule. Because of this, my husband and I, and everyone else involved in/attending our wedding were able to just soak in the beauty of the day and truly celebrate. had a great way of easing my anxieties! Her and her mom even came to our house the week before the wedding to pick up all of our decor so we didn't have to worry! She dealt with the entire timeline of the day with all of our vendors (who raved about her as well!) and we honestly could not have been happier.

It's easy to get anxious about keeping everything organized, but I completely trusted Amanda to be on top of everything and to let me know how to stay on track. Importantly, she was always positive. No matter how small the task, she was excited about all of the details and very encouraging. It not only made the process less stressful - but actually fun! I was also very impressed with Amanda's ability to quickly see my vision and make it come to life. Her vast knowledge of local vendors (cake, makeup, DJs) meant she was able to point me to the exact right person to give me my perfect day. Shelby was my day of coordinator. What a joy to work with her. She is very detail oriented and extremely organized. I had 200 guests so this was no small task. She participated in planning sessions and coordinated with all my vendors. At the reception, I barely saw her - which is exactly what you want when you are trying to enjoy your big day. She would pop up to guide to the next part (cake cutting, dances) but then quietly disappear to make sure everything was running smoothly. I have no idea how she did it, but all of the leftovers, gifts, and flowers ended up where they were supposed to be. If there were any snags in the plan, no one ever heard about them. I LOVED my ceremony and reception and had countless compliments on everything. I cannot recommend Magnificent Moments Weddings highly enough. Perfection.

She helped me plan for things I didn't even think of and she was a huge support when my friends and family were tapped out on opinions. It was a huge perk to have both of them working together (and for me to have one less vendor to worry about). Amanda was trustworthy, easy to get in touch with, and had our best interest in mind. e made a google document where we kept track of our weekend. The list of recommended vendors they provided was very helpful! Only negatives were our coordinator did have to ask us lots of questions the day of the wedding, and also we were recommended to have two extra assistants the day of, but I felt they were not as helpful as they could have been. They were on their phones a lot throughout the day and needed lots of direction from our coordinator.

She was so effortlessly on top of all of the moving parts – from coordinating and confirming with each of our vendors in the weeks leading up to our wedding to putting together a jigsaw of a day-of timeline and ensuring our ceremony went ever so smoothly. Booking Shelby was easily one of the best decisions we made and we are so thankful to her!

d a new planner after my first couldn't complete services. Suffice to say, I needed to find someone competent, kind, organized, and experienced to clean up that mess but also get me to the finish line in less than three months. The event director at my venue sent me their list of preferred providers to help out and I called them ALL but MMW stood out. When I emailed Amanda and then had a phone call with her a little later, I was honestly sold - a little scared still, but I knew they were different. At this point of my planning, I was truly just ready for my wedding to be over, I’d spent so much money on the first planner, I was trying to pick up the pieces from my home in California while the wedding was in North Carolina, and I was just honestly distraught at the whole situation. Amanda was calm, straightforward, and funny and she got what I was looking for immediately. She was BEYOND understanding of my hesitation to work with another planning team and I knew I needed someone though so I signed with MMW - I’m glad I did! Amanda directed me to Shelby, who was going to be my coordinator. The highest compliment I can pay to anyone is to say that they work hard and they care and Shelby is the hardest working, most thoughtful woman in the biz! From the moment we were connected, she jumped in and got us organized and moving. She is direct, honest, friendly, and organized - exactly what every bride needs and especially what I needed. She answered my many MANY questions promptly and thoughtfully and never made me feel like I was bothering her, it was honestly like talking with an old friend. The day of my wedding, there were some minor hiccups and Shelby handled everything like a pro. I honestly had no idea until after the ceremony because she was so committed to us just enjoying our day and having no stress. If I had to choose one moment as the most impactful, I’d say … Our wedding was inadvertently the same weekend as the Taste of Charlotte festival so there were road closures, tents, bouncy houses, you name it, all around our venue. There was even one in full view of our ceremony site through the windows. I didn’t want the curtains down because the full wall windows are gorgeous and the lighting would have been better but I didn’t want a bouncy house in my photos either.. Shelby literally went down to the operators to ask them to deflate the house during the ceremony so we would have the perfect view and they came through. This is the epitome of above and beyond to me! And my photos will be lovely, full of light, with no kids bouncing through the air in the background ;) My parents were both super impressed by MMW from start to finish and both remarked on how much they could tell Shelby cared about delivering us the perfect day. Our guests had a blast and we got several comments that everything ran smoothly and that’s definitely thanks to Shelby. I could honestly write a small novel about how great it was to be an MMW Bride but wrap it up - I would definitely recommend Shelby and the MMW team!

She helped me figure out what I wanted for my wedding day and knew just how to execute my vision. She recommended other lovely vendors to help complete my dream team.
