as the most helpful, bringing her expertise, suggestions for improvement, and guidance for my husband and me throughout the whole planning process. On the day of the wedding, all staff were kind, friendly, efficient, and kept an eye out for needs and filled them. We are beyond grateful for the way they worked so smoothly and calmly with our other vendors. They were very flexible in communicating to us during the day, especially when our schedule got pushed back. Our guests constantly commented on how beautiful the venue was, and our pictures turned out fantastic in part to that! We could not recommend them more!

living out of state for grad school, and they had the date available that we wanted (or so we thought) so we went ahead and put a deposit down to secure our date. 7 months prior to our wedding I received a call from Ashley Henry, the owner. She informed me that she had mistakenly double booked our wedding date and that since we technically put our deposit down second we had to change our date. She gave us a half hearted apology and told us that this was the first time this has ever happened to one of her couples. Thankfully the caterer that we chose for our wedding caught her mistake since they had been booked for both weddings or else we may not have found out until day of. Ashley Henry offered up the day prior (along with the smallest discount possible off our total price).  The next issues arises 3.5 months before our wedding. We received an email inviting us to an open house at Magnolia Hill Farm. I was so excited to go see the venue in person since I wasn’t able to see the venue in person when we booked a year prior. When we arrived Ashley greeted us and asked if we had booked yet. I told her that we had, which prompted her to ask for our names, and again I told her. She followed up asking for our wedding date to which I told her our new date. She proceeded to congratulate us and move on talking to other couples but I could tell she didn’t have a clue who we were. I’m not saying I expect her to recognize our faces, especially when we hadn’t been there in a little over a year. I also don’t expect her to remember our names since our first names are fairly common and we didn’t give her our last names. However, once I gave her our wedding date I would’ve hoped that that would have refreshed her memory that we were the couple that she double booked our date. But it did not. Our final issue with Ashley Henry happened just a week before our wedding date. At our final venue walk through a month prior we were informed that we had an hour to rehearse and we were encouraged to leave anything we needed for our wedding at the venue and that we could drop it off at the rehearsal. I reached out to Ashley Henry the week of our wedding to see what time we would be allowed in to the venue to start unloading things. She informed me that if we needed extra time to unload things we should have purchased an extra hour when we did our final walk through. I’m sorry, PURCHASE???? She also informed me that we are no longer able to purchase an extra hour due to her not being able to be at the venue for anything longer than our hour to rehearse and we’d be expected to leave immediately. She informed us that if we wanted to unload anything it would have to be during the 1 hour we were allowed and we would be given no extra time. So all of this to say, don’t book this venue unless you want to work with owners who don’t know their couples, or seem to care about their couples and who are more invested in their own personal lives more than running and developing their business.

ons we had and she went above and beyond as the day of coordinator! The venue is stunning and perfect for pictures! Any color scheme works with the venue and her vendor recommendations were spot on! The bridal suite was perfect for my larger bridal party and the groom’s cottage was great for my husband’s group of guys! The space is perfect for smaller and large weddings! I knew I wanted to get married at a venue that would work for ceremony and reception and Magnolia Hill was perfect! We HIGHLY recommend Magnolia for couples looking for a picturesque venue with professional owners & employees who go the extra mile to make your day magical! We can’t thank Ashley and Coty enough for everything they did to make our wedding day the day we always dreamed of and more!
