Magnolias on the Bay

is is the place! First.. the venue.. there are not enough adjectives to describe how beautiful this location is! From the quaint, elegant building that hosts the entryway, kitchen and bathrooms to the gorgeous outside seating area and patio and beyond that the stunning lawn and seating area that looks out over beautiful Lemon Bay (dolphins and manatee included!), you cannot ask for a more stunning beautiful location for your special day! Then it gets even better with the food..they have it all… hand rolled sushi appetizers.. as well as a delicious variety of other choices for those who do not like sushi.. all beautifully presented. For the main course, we chose a buffet which had something for everyone… seafood, beef, and chicken all of it delicious and plentiful. The buffet included plated salads which were yummy, homemade bread with herbed butter, mashed potatoes and delicious roasted vegetables… Their chef, Ron, who is also the general manager was on site throughout the event, even serving at the buffet and he is an absolute gem! Now.. finally the staff… these people are the crème de la crème… Top notch.. timely, always with a smile… eager to make sure the night was truly magical… from the bartenders, to the servers and busy boys.. there was not one thing that was overlooked, not one need that was not met, and throughout the whole night.. they were smiling and honestly appeared to be enjoying the night as much as their guests… Finally, though, the crown jewel of this event.. the events coordinator, Ashley Dignam… I really cannot say enough about Ashley. From the moment we booked the venue, she was there to answer every question, calm every worry, coordinate vendors, and she worked her tail off to create a stunning, magical place for the wedding. She created all of the table scapes, including flower arrangements, made sure the bride and groom were catered to throughout the evening, monitored and catered to the little ones that were in attendance.. I could go on and on.. her hard work and creativity were limitless.. it almost makes me wish I had another wedding to plan, just so I work with her again!! She is priceless! If you are thinking about getting married in the southwest Florida area …I highly recommend that you check out Magnolias on the Bay.. you will not be disappointed.
