We were happily surprised with this unique venue. After our first tour, and seeing the massive chandelier, we were sold - we had to get married here. The huge floors for getting re...
ady spaces were also perfect for our bridal party. It made the morning go so much smoother to already be in one place. Ken was easy to work with, and even helped out with various things on wedding day. Highly recommend the Mahler Ballroom in St. Louis!
The Mahler is THE place. It is stunning and elegant. It's probably the best value in the area. The bride and groom suites to get ready in are beyond amazing. Beautiful, massive, an...
d filled with amenities.
Ken and Tori were great. Very flexible and patient. Bartenders and staff were on point.
My husband and I had our wedding reception at Mahler Ballroom last month. We truly cannot speak highly enough of Jasmine and this venue. The venue was exactly what we were looking ...
for: elegant, classy, and romantic. We booked the luxurious bride and groom suites for our “getting ready” portion of the day and could not be happier with how our “getting ready” photos turned out. The suites were just the perfect setting. The ballroom was breathtaking and we were blown away at how the staff made our dream day come to life after the setup was complete. Jasmine was the true gem in the crown, however, and made our whole year-long planning experience with Mahler a cut above the rest. Her organization, communication, and attention to detail were phenomenal, and we cannot thank her enough for the calm she brought to our planning process. We are so happy that we were able to fully relax and be present on our wedding day. So much of that was because of Jasmine, and we cannot thank her enough for that priceless gift!
Jasmine is amazing! She did more for us than our actual wedding planner. She was flexible, accommodating, and she even let us decorate the day before, which was huge. The owner is ...
also super nice and kind as well and came by to help my mom with cleanup. He also got there early to let us in to decorate the day before. The people running this place go above and beyond to make their customers happy. There were minor mishaps, as there will be with any wedding, but Jasmine did all she could to make our day amazing! The space itself is absolutely STUNNING and great value for the price. Honestly, this place is such a hidden gem. The getting ready space is gorgeous and will make getting ready pics amazing. Just make sure you test all audio/visual equipment if you intend to use any to make sure it works with your specific devices. If we would've done that ahead of time, it would've saved us some stress. There were also some small issues with the bar not having the things they said it would have, but I don't know exactly where the miscommunication occurred there. I also never went to the bar myself, I am going on the word of people who were grabbing my drinks for me. Overall I would 100 % recommend the Mahler to anyone wanting a classic, beautiful, breathtaking ballroom. It was the perfect backdrop for my Beauty and The Beast Reception.
The choice to host our wedding reception at Mahler Ballroom was the first, and probably the best decision we made about our wedding. The ballroom itself is absolutely stunning, our...
guests were so impressed by the venue alone. Then the Bridal and Groom suites were equally incredible, and the perfect backdrop for all of those getting ready photos, not to mention it was so convenient to have everyone getting ready together in the same place. However, far and away the best part about having Mahler Ballroom host our wedding reception was our coordinator Jasmine. We chose to have Mahler/Jasmine handle all of our decor elements because we were doing everything long distance from our home in LA, and I’m so glad we did!!! Jasmine was amazing, she completely exceeded our expectations. I gave her all the information of what we were going for and she really took the ball from there and made it happen and come together more beautifully than I could even imagine. If you are considering Mahler Ballroom for your event, seriously look no further. Jasmine is incredible, the entire staff were so lovely, I cannot recommend them more highly and we looked at over 16 venues for our wedding. I’m telling you, they are the best the in St. Louis.
We wanted a venue that we didn’t have to spend a lot of $$$ on to decorate. The Mahler is so beautiful that we just added little things. Jasmine is the biggest reason we chose the ...
venue. She was so responsive and helpful. We had to change our date and our guest number a few times because of Covid and they worked with us through all of the changes. We liked meeting Kenny on our tour as he explained the different options we had for a ceremony + reception. And their bridal suite was gorgeous. We didn’t see another venue with a groom’s suite that large if they even had one. Trying to think of what other kind of party we can have so we can throw it at the Mahler!!
Jasmine went above and beyond the “event coordinator” call of duty for us. If she was ever stressed or annoyed she never let it show and she made sure we were happy the duration of...
our engagement and wedding day. We had our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Mahler and would it do over again every weekend! The venue is beautiful but what sold us was the excellent customer service. Definitely recommend for any event.
The venue is very beautiful! Ken and Jasmine were great t work with!

e groom + bridal party. We hired a band to play at our reception and the acoustics were also fantastic for the ballroom. We ended up having about 115 guests at our wedding and I feel that the space easily could have fit another 50 guests or so comfortably. Jasmine and Ken were both fantastic to work with - especially considering we had to reschedule due to COVID-19 - and I could not be more happy we went with this space!
I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for Ken and the Mahler staff. I had no real vision of what kind of venue I wanted when I first got engaged, so I set up several (more th...
an 10) venues to look at, and when I walked into Mahler I fell in love! Mahler is a magnificently gorgeous ballroom that needs little to no extra decor as it would only detract from they beauty the ballroom already is. We used Mahler’s suites on the second and third floors to get ready. All of the girls took over the second floor which has everything you could possibly need for hair and make-up. And the guys took over upstairs where they could play pool, watch TV and relax. It was great to be able to set-up in one place for the day and leave everything safe while we went to the ceremony. The space was especially helpful to give our vendors and band a place to get ready and eat dinner as well.
Ken was a dream to work with; so responsive and professional. He helped us personalize details up to the morning of and even installed a light fixture at the hair and make-up stations when the make-up artist asked for an extra lamp. He made our day extra special and made sure my husband and I had everything we needed at all moments of the night. Seriously, he went above and beyond! The staff at Mahler, from the bar to the parking attendants, was professional and courteous; so I had no concerns all evening that all of our guests were receiving superb service.
I can’t say enough nice things about the venue or staff and all of our guests thought it was such an exquisite place. We wanted an elegant black-tie reception and that’s exactly what we got. It was truly a memorable evening and we highly recommend Mahler ballroom for any event!

ain reason for our choice. Everyone mentioned the beauty of the room. To will need to see it in person.... Simply beautiful.
The bridal suite upstairs has everything that you need from a makeup room, to pedicure chairs, to shampoo bowls, kitchen, dining room . The girls had a relaxing day prepping for the wedding. The grooms room was perfect with a pool table and screen TV, bar. Everything a man needs.
Besides the beauty of the venue, we could not have done this without Ken and Jasmine. Prior to and the day of the wedding, they both went above and beyond our expectation. They responded quickly to my calls, offered to help when needed and came to the rescue for last minute needs; they were patient, understanding and truly cared. I thank them both for their professionalism and friendship.
It was perfect day. We could not have picked a better venue or team to work with .
Ken made this day one of the best days of our lives. He went above and beyond and met every expectation and even the ones that we didn't even know we needed. He remained calm and ...
made sure there wasn't anything that we wanted or needed. When we called, he always answered. When we had a last minuet issue, he came right to the rescue. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone raved about the architectural details, the uniqueness and the beauty of it all. The bridal suite upstairs comes with everything that you need from a makeup room, to pedicure chairs, to shampoo bowls along with a full kitchen. It was perfect for our day. We could not have picked a better venue or team to work with on our New Years Eve Nuptials.
We were married about a month ago and Mahler was our reception venue.
The updates to the building are very stunning and have truly been improvements!! The ballroom is so perfect....
It is elegantly decorated. It was the perfect size for a seated dinner of about 170 people and we had a dance floor that was a great size.
While the venue is amazing what really sold us on the venue was the amazing customer service. The team there is absolutely wonderful and wanted to make sure were nothing short of happy. They exceeded our expectations! Ken in particular was so very helpful and great to work with.
We would highly recommend Mahler Ballroom for your event!
Ken was awesome to work with, very kind and responsive to all of our questions. The Mahler Ballroom is stunning!
Awesome! New manager Ken is very helpful & really wanted our wedding to be a success.
Nice location.
Customer service is what did it for us.

r thing I liked about Mahler Ballroom is the flexibility to bring your own caterer.
Marsha is sweet and lovely. Overall, I enjoyed working with her. In fact, the day I called to inquire about the ballroom, she was driving to Florida, but still scheduled a meeting with Don. However, after this initial encounter, she was sometimes difficult to get ahold of, but typically responded within a week.
There were a few things that went wrong the day before and of our wedding that caused me to give Mahler 3 stars. First, we were told we could arrive at 1PM Friday to set up for our wedding, which was great. However, mid-morning on Friday, Marsha called saying no one would be available after 1PM, so instead we needed to set up before then. This was slightly frustrating but fine until I arrived and the tables were set up differently than I had asked. Again, minor problem, but then we also discovered that the curtain we rented to be on the stage behind the musicians was not there and Don, who was the only person around at the time, did not know where it was. This mattered because our fathers were putting lights behind it and would only be available Friday (needless to say we had to alter those plans).
The day of things overall went smoothly, but there were 2 issues. First, I highly doubt our signature drink, strawberry vodka lemonade, had any vodka. There's no way our friends could have multiple and not feel it. I had several myself and did not taste any alcohol.
Probably the most frustrating thing was the fact that our cake knife, which I had purchased specifically for the wedding, was thrown away. Paul, the manager, told my mother that it had broken during cake cutting. It wasn't until the week after the wedding that I realized it was not returned with the cake server. When I emailed Marsha asking for it (because if it did really break, I wanted to return it--it wasn't cheap), I was given a vague response that she was told it was broken.
So, if you're a go with the flow kind of bride, this place is a good option, but since I have a Type A personality, I found the little glitches frustrating.
The Mahler Ballroom is beautiful and staff very nice and helpful!
Happy to be giving this venue 5 stars!! The facility, the management and the staff who helped serve went above and beyond to make the wedding reception a memorable one. Would use t...
he Mahler ballroom again in a heartbeat. Thank You!
Marsha was very sweet and responsive. I was never waiting to hear back from her, and she was always quick to make appointments as soon as possible. The venue is beautiful, and the ...
staff is very friendly... Plus they have cute dogs! The only drawback we ran into was the fact that because it is a historical floor, there's quite a bit of limitations on how to arrange the room and what decorations we could use. But our wedding still turned out beautifully and we are very thankful to Don & Marsha!
I can say this is a gorgeous venue. Pricey but gorgeous. The look and feel of the place brought me in. Marsha the owner was great the first time we met. After we set up a contract ...
and first two payments were made. It was hard to get in contact with her and when we did she had forgotten various things we had discussed. When I bought to her attention that my sons were very sick and in need of a Bone Marrow Transplant, and that I had to cancel our wedding to a later date. Marsha stated that if she sale /book my wedding day she would give me a refund. I was so grateful and happy because I really needed the money. So My husband and I called back several times and left messages. No Return Calls!!!! My husband had to actually go to the venue unannounced just to run into Don or Dan I believe that's what my husband called him.
However he told him that they don't give out refunds that we could possibly set up another day.
Long story short several more weeks passed with No return calls. I had to act like a new client with interest in a day. For her to Call me back. And when she called me back. THAT SAME DAY!!
I inquired about my original wedding day. And she told me that day had been BOOKED!! So I then stated who I was and said so that means I will be able to get my money back. She said NO. I COULD NOT HAVE MY MONEY BACK. That I could POSSIBLY have another day. I told her about our pass conversations and she TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THEM!!! Now my husband said he would work with them on coming up with a new day. Again NO RETURN CALLS.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I WISH I HAD

o bring in my own catering, and for that I am grateful. However, the planning itself came off as somewhat unprofessional, in my opinion. I only feel the need to leave this review because I know that some brides would not be able to handle the curve balls thrown at them like I was. Thank god for an awesome mother & bridesmaids! There were several times we would make concrete plans for something, only to have Marsha forget that we even discussed them. For example, we were told roughly six months before the event that we could come in and & set up LATE the night before the reception since I would have limited help to set up the day of. When I went in to finalize my seating chart for the event (a week before the actual reception) I was informed that we could NOT be there to set and that if I couldn't find someone to decorate, they would provide 2 people for $12 an hour to help finish the task. While I appreciate the fact that the extra help was there if necessary, that isn't exactly something you want to be hearing a week before your wedding day. Especially when I had been planning to set up the night before for so long. People had to move schedules around to accommodate many last minute changes like that. In addition, the overall tone that was used with us the day we did set up was extremely unprofessional and almost rude. There was a lot of eye-rolling and condescending conversation going on. Overall, I think there was a huge lack of communication all around, and it caused many disruptions. The night of the reception, their manager (Paul?) approached me and basically told me we were to leave at 10, no questions asked. After I informed him that I had just paid for an extra hour the week before, he actually stood there and argued with me, on my wedding night, in front of my guests. I believe that if the Mahler would like to continue providing excellent service, they should rethink their approach with their customers. Things became very chaotic at times.
We just had our wedding reception here and everything went off without a hitch! Marsha and her staff were all great to work with! They really make sure your day is perfect. I would...

tion venues in the area. Everything about the night of our reception went perfectly! Marsha did such a great job of communicating with me, to ensure that she was meeting all of the needs of my reception. There was not one question left unanswered! The staff was friendly, helpful, and constantly ensuring everything was going according to plan. I had the best night and would highly recommend the Mahler Ballroom to anyone that is looking for an elegant and charming reception.
The Mahler was the site of our recent wedding reception. We were planning from a distance, and Marsha was great to work with. The venue is so unique and beautiful. We were very ...
excited to find such a gorgeous venue that would allow us to use any licensed cater. They layout was perfect for our 150 guests, DJ, and dance floor. The staff was so helpful and friendly all night. The bar has a speakeasy feel and our guests loved it! I would recommend the Mahler to anyone looking for a classic venue. The location is perfect and close to everything!

llowed us to come back numerous times to show out of town family or members of the bridal party and each time she was so excited and knowledgeable. The venue its self is stunning from the chandeliers, to the balcony and all the decorations the property has displayed. Everyone at my wedding was in awe of how beautiful the ballroom is. We went with an outside caterer that has been to the venue before and with Marsha's help and the staff at Mahler, everything went so smoothly at the reception. Everyone loved Paul the bartender and the specialty cocktail I selected with help from Marsha.
I would recommend this venue for any bride looking for a reception that is more historic, glamorous, and beautiful than just a typical banquet hall. The venue was stunning and the staff made wedding planning a breeze!

uld choose it again in a heartbeat. The Mahler representative, Don, that I worked with was extremely helpful in answering my questions and had few restrictions on what I could not do at Mahler, no glitter! Everyone complimented on how neat of a venue it was and had a grand time.

modating, and accessible. They have done everything we requested to make our day exactly what we imagined it to be. The venue is a beautiful, historic ballroom with tons of character. I hardly had to decorate the tables or ballroom because of the intricate details of the room. We were so happy with the Mahler Ballroom. I have recommended it to everyone I know.
The ballroom is beautiful and the wedding was perfect!
Don Peterson, the event coordinator for the site, is wonderful to work with. We fell in love with the venue as soon as we walked in.
The location was accommodating and willing to move things around to have both the ceremony and reception at the location. They addressed all of my concerns and helped develop a fl...
oorplan to make everything I wanted available work. The bar services were excellent. One criticism, the tip for the bar services was included in the price, and they had tip jars on the bar. The immediately removed these at our request.
This venue is amazing, and not terribly well-known. Don Peterson, the site manager is a dream to work with and will modify the standard package/options to help you. For example, ...
he swapped out a case of their standard wine for a specialty wine that we wanted and swapped out a case of beer! He was a dream!
The manager was fantastic - very knowledgeable and helpful! And the venue looked great with simple decorations - we didn't need to do a whole lot to make it stand out.;You do have ...
