About this vendor
Hi,
I’m Mailey. I’m originally from Wisconsin and now live in Virginia. I have a BFA from George Mason University with a focus in costume, hair, and makeup design.
I spent the last three years in New York City working on Broadway and in film and television. My projects included The Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman, Younger starring Hillary Duff, and A Bronx Tale directed by Robert De Niro.
Because of my training and industry experience, I’m uniquely suited to handle the challenges of any wedding day. Complications often occur on the big day, and they must be handled proficiently whether they are in the form of accelerated time lines, bad weather, or last minute wardrobe adjustments.
You get one shot at looking your best for your wedding. The stakes couldn’t be higher. I’ve personally worked over eighty weddings and ensured that each bride and bridesmaid was absolutely glamorous. If you’re looking for excellence and experience, look no further.

Dear Brides-to-Be,
I am beyond thrilled to share the incredible experience we had with Mailey, the artist who worked her magic on our hair and makeup for my October 2023 wedding. ...
From the first interaction to the final touch-up, Mailey proved to be an absolute gem in making our day even more special.
Mailey's organizational skills were a breath of fresh air during the whirlwind of wedding preparations. She was not only easy to communicate with but also incredibly attentive to our preferences. Her ability to understand our vision and translate it into stunning hair and makeup was truly commendable. She is relaxed and easy to talk to for the hours you’ll be spending together in the morning getting ready.
What sets Mailey apart is her extensive knowledge of beauty products. With a plethora of options available, she guided each one of us, including myself as the bride and my bridesmaids, with expertise and finesse. Her skillful hands and keen eye for detail ensured that each bridesmaid looked uniquely beautiful, tailoring the makeup and hairstyles to suit individual needs.
On the wedding day, Mailey's artistry truly shone through. She didn't just apply makeup and style hair; she transformed each of us into feeling our best. The way she accentuated our favorite features while ensuring a cohesive look for the entire bridal party was nothing short of magical. It's not easy to find someone who can strike the perfect balance between enhancing natural beauty and creating a look that feels authentically 'you,' but Mailey did just that.
The compliments flowed throughout the day, with guests and even our spouses in awe of the stunning transformation. Mailey didn't just make us look beautiful; she made us feel beautiful. And on a day as significant as a wedding, that feeling is priceless. To all the brides out there, if you're looking for a true artist who combines skill, knowledge, and a touch of magic, Mailey is your go-to person.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Jess

to draw out the natural beauty of all her clients and makes everyone feel like they are the star of the show. She was incredibly flexible with styles, trial dates, and feedback, and made sure to provide touch ups for everyone before heading to the ceremony. Mailey and her assistant Camilla are a phenomenal pair and I would recommend them to ANYONE!

I don't wear makeup frequently, and especially not full coverage makeup, but she made me feel so beautiful while still looking like myself. She asked tons of questions so she could craft the perfect look for what I had in mind and made it even better than I could have ever imagined. Mailey was more than willing to do multiple trials with me throughout my dress alteration process until we narrowed the exact look that would be perfect for the aesthetic of my dress and my Matron of Honor and mother loved their looks as well.
