Ava is absolutely AMAZING!!! She went above and beyond all of my expectations. Working with her was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. Her studio is so cute and she ha...
s a way of making you feel very at ease there. Not only did she alter my gown from BHLDN, she also was able to alter the qipao that my mother wore 33 years ago so that I was able to wear it at my reception. In regards to my BHLDN gown, the material was very thin and I realized after I purchased it that it led to unflattering shadows in photographs. Ava was able to come up with a solution by adding a power-mesh lining that worked wonders! I felt so confident that day all due to Ava's creativity and hard work. She also did an amazing job with my mother and sister's dresses. Look no further-she is the best!
I would highly recommend Ava to any future brides! I was a bit nervous about altering my gown but wanted to create a V in the back to meet my original vision. After meeting Ava, I ...
knew I had made the right decision. Not only was she very calm and confident, but had worked with this BHLDN dress before and offered suggestions for added detail that I loved. I was so happy with the finished product (but also a little sad my fittings were over since she was such a pleasure to chat with)!
Ava was completely delightful to work with, and had my dress fitting like a glove. I looked forward to each of my fittings, not only to see what magic she was making with my gown, ...
but also because I loved chitchatting with her so much! I especially appreciated her calm demeanor when I was stressed about requesting some last minute alterations. I can't recommend Maiden Bridal highly enough!
Ava was a dream. I originally purchased my dress from a small boutique in Paris. She did a wonderful job fitting me perfectly into the dress. I couldn't of been happier. Thank you ...
Ava :)
After finding my dream dress at BHLDN I was very nervous about finding a place to get it altered. The dress was heavily beaded so I thought the process would be challenging and cos...
tly. After my first meeting with Ava I knew that I found the right place! Ava was incredibly knowledgeable of and experienced with BHLDN gowns. By the end my dress fit perfectly and the services were very fairly priced. Ava also made me a custom vail that went perfectly with my dress and only charged me a fraction of what they go for in the bridal stores.
Ava is seriously the BEST there is. She is extremely professional, kind, hard working, and TALENTED! She took a gown that I loved, and made it into a freakin' dream! It seriously f...
it me like a glove, and was so flattering in all of the right places. She understood my vision from the get go and hand made me a veil that matched my dress PERFECTLY. I felt like I was in the best hands with Ava and would recommend her to any bride wanting to feel phenomenal!!!!
Ava re-worked a BHLDN wedding gown for me and let me just say her work is exquisite. I could not be happier with my wedding dress. She is easy to work with and listens to all your ...
wants for the dress and makes them happen! I had multiple alterations that I wanted and it's always scary to let someone take your gown and make it into your dream dress. Well let me just say Ava did it! She has also hemmed, added cups, lined and changed necklines on multiple other dresses for me. All fabulously done. She is reasonably priced and gets the work done in a timely manner. If you need any dress made or re-worked or have any cushions you want reupholstered I HIGHLY recommend Ava! She's a magician in the seamstress world.
Ava is a wonderful person and a very skilled seamstress. She will make you feel comfortable the minute you step into her studio and she really listens to what you are looking for....
She made my dress fit perfectly and added a lace detail on the back that took it a whole new level. When one aspect of my gown wasn’t quite perfect at my final fitting, she took an additional two hours that day to fix it. Her custom designs are also really beautiful. Ava was so lovely to work with that I look forward to having another reason to go back to her and I’d recommend her to anyone!
Ava helped turn a half baked idea about what I wanted to wear into the most beautiful piece of clothing I have ever put on my body. She was a breeze to work with and invented an am...
azing detachable train concept so I could have the dramatic dress I wanted without worrying about dealing with it when it came time to dance. Her construction was exquisite down to the last detail and flourish of lace. Couldn't recommend more!
