We hired this shuttle company for our wedding and had high hopes based on thorough communication with the vendor leading up to the event. We discussed timing and schedules multiple... times to ensure everything would run smoothly. The company was contracted for two loops before the ceremony and three loops after, and I provided a detailed schedule three months in advance, even buffering an hour per loop to account for travel time.
Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. On the day of the wedding, the shuttle picked up the first group of guests from the hotel but inexplicably stayed in the parking lot instead of continuing the scheduled loops. When the venue owner—and later my husband—addressed this with the driver (ten minutes after the ceremony was supposed to start), they were met with indifference. The driver claimed the loops weren’t on his schedule, so he simply didn’t follow through.
This miscommunication caused major disruptions. The venue owner had to call the hotel to notify guests that the shuttle wouldn’t be coming. About 50% of our guests ended up driving themselves to the venue, leading to a ceremony delayed by 20 minutes—a seemingly small issue, but incredibly stressful on your wedding day.
The return service wasn’t much better. Despite the request for three loops, the shuttle only ran at 9:30 PM and 11:15 PM, skipping an entire loop. Those guests who drove themselves had to arrange rides back to the venue the next morning to retrieve their cars.
To the company’s credit, when we discussed this on the Monday after our wedding, they were extremely apologetic and offered a partial refund. However, the lack of execution on such an important day left a lasting impression.
I’m not sharing this to disparage the business but to caution others planning similar events. If you choose this company, triple-confirm every detail and make sure the schedule is clear to all drivers involved. Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events, and you deserve vendors you can trust to follow through on their commitments.
