tting up and had to trap and release it outside ourselves
- we were up sold on a bunch of tv/display screens ($1,000+) but they didn't function properly and ruined our grand entrance. They refused to refund us for this. We didn't even get much support for the set up of the screen. The tech they sent didn't speak English so we couldn't even communicate what the problems were to them.
- The venue is grossly over priced ($18k+ for 5pm-11pm)
- Josephine, the owner or operator of the business, was not communicative. We asked her to confirm things multiple times well before the reception and heard very little to nothing back so we had to hope she was going to deliver. She was rude and dismissive at times to my family members and wedding planner.
- we ended up having to put together much of the decorations ourselves even though we paid for the staffing
Overall, we did the best we could with what we had to enjoy our special night. But we would not recommend our experience to others - especially not for the price they asked of us.

t having to organize equipment rental, bar, catering, etc. It was a romantic and elegant venue. We did add our own uplights. And we were planning during a transition period between two coordinators so parts of the planning process were redundant as we made sure Tasha had all of the information we had left with the planner who left. Overall we were satisfied with the services provided and were happy we chose the Maison & Jardin for our wedding.

The venue is beautiful on its own and the outside grounds are perfect for the cocktail hours (over hang to provide shade with fans for additional air flow) and pictures (beautiful old oaks and lovely white columns). The cake was placed in perfectly within their bay window. The event was incredibly smooth - Tasha's team did a wonderful job with the set up, service throughout, and clean up. Additionally, their tables are custom oval tables - which allow for people to talk to people across the table, opposed to the round tables where the people across the table is too far away. The food was phenomenal and our guests could not stop complementing the chef, the venue, and the location. We could not recommend the Maison & Jardin more.

wasn't finding anything that I loved until we went to see Maison & Jardin! As soon as I walked into the doors I fell in love and knew that this was my venue! My mom and I went to vacation in Paris, France a couple years ago and this place reminded me of our fun adventures in Paris. It looks like it could be somewhere in France! Even though it's right off of interstate 4 it feels very quaint and secluded with all the gorgeous trees. I love how detailed the main dining room is and very happy that there are multiple spaces for a ceremony in case of rain. Tasha the venues event coordinator was the sweetest and took care of so many things for us. Tasha and her team set up all the tables and decorations for the reception and it all looked perfect. Way better than I imagined. I seriously don't have one bad thing to say about this venue. My wedding day was absolutely perfect, it was my dream wedding. They just have a minimum that you have to meet based on the room you use and it is VERY reasonable. The food at our tasting was phenomenal. It was really close to it at our event too. We did a per consumption bar and came out $23 under the suggested limit we set. My husband and I didn't even visit the bar though because we had a personal butler, Maurice, for the night. We was waiting our arrival when we got there and attended to us the whole night with drinks , food, whatever we needed. He even helped us with how to cut the cake! From making sure that the décor and table arrangements were placed exactly as I requested, to working with us on menu and beverage customizations, to taking care of our guests throughout the night, they took care of it all. Michael, the banquet manager, took such great care of us on the day of as well. My guests are still raving about the setting, the food, and the staff. If you can afford it, rent out the whole place. In my opinion, it's worth the additional food & bev cost to have the whole property to yourself.
I've read reviews where folks have concerns that the space is oddly laid out or that it looks dated or old. Personally, I like the layout. The dining room is laid out around the dance floor which makes a large party still feel intimate. As for dated or old, well, it's an old French restaurant and garden modeled after an old French house. It was absolutely perfect for my eclectic, vintage garden wedding! I did have a little ordeal right before the wedding. I had put on my shoes (that I did not want to wear) I turned to help empty the flowers into the baskets and fell on my face. I did not relize there were that many people in the room but the next thing I knew 3 people had lifted me up and back to my feet before I knew what happend..
