at. We got several compliments from our guests. Second, they were patient with and responsive to our extensive questions and concerns about allergens. The bride is gluten free as are several guests, we had guests with nut allergies, dairy intolerances, and needed to accommodate several vegan and vegetarian attendees. Nick and Danielle helped us think through our menu to choose the best options, and their attention to the dietary restrictions among our guests made us feel confident that they would keep everyone safe - including checking in individually with guests before service. They even accommodated a week-of meal change for a guest who had recently developed an allergy. Third, their overall level of thoughtfulness and service was exceptional. It is clear that they really enjoy their work and want to bring the best possible result to life. Our first stand out example was when Nick helped us re-think our table decor, which we hadn't put too much thought into. He spotted that we were going to end up with mismatched decor and made thoughtful suggestions that turned out beautifully. Our tables looked amazing because he jumped in. Our second example came after our ceremony: there was a beautiful sunset coming in through the windows on the side of the room where they were setting up tables. Nick suggested that they hold set up - one of the busiest and tightest parts of the staff's night- to allow us to capture photos with the sunset. We didn't even ask because we didn't want to hold them up, but he insisted that we get those photos, and we're so grateful. Fourth, they clearly prioritize integrity. Danielle let us know that there was a wedding in the space the night before and reached out to suggest that we could use the same tables and chairs as the other wedding and pay only half of the rental cost. They could have chosen not to let us know about the other wedding and charged us full price, but they reached out help us save a little money. Additionally, as we were submitting final payment to Danielle, we accidentally over paid her on our total. She flagged the overpayment for us and was responsive in returning the money. We would have noticed it eventually, but it stands out to us that she prioritized making things right. Lastly, it's apparent to us that their staff enjoys working for them - they were attentive, kind, responsive and FUN the whole night. It seems like they foster a positive work environment, and that alone is worth supporting. There is even more to say but we're reaching our character limit! Nick and Danielle and their whole team took exceptional care of us and our guests and we are so grateful. We would refer them to anyone who asks.

They were friendly, helpful, and took really good care of us! The food was really good all around with really creative options. We opted for a different liquor / wine provider but were able to use their license and bartending services which made it very easy. Honestly, they were one of the smoothest part of our wedding planning! Bonus point: they work with Loft Lucia, our venue, all the time which really streamlined the process.

I also didn’t get the wine pour or champagne during dinner but guest confirmed they were able to get wine and champagne during open bar so I wasn’t to upset. Overall food was amazing. Only downside is there is no way to take ur food to go it was a couple guest who didn’t show and I wanted to pack it and wasn’t able to. Also my wife didn’t eat most of her plate due to all the festivities and we were able to pack her plate as well.

They were incredibly thoughtful about every detail, especially when it came to accommodating our guests’ dietary restrictions. The food itself was a huge hit. Our guests are still raving about the short rib! One moment that really stood out: the father of the bride had stepped away during dinner, and Nick noticed and personally brought him a fresh, warm plate when he returned. That level of attention and care meant so much. We’re so grateful to have had them as part of our day and can’t recommend them highly enough!

JC was on site the day of and couldn’t have been kinder—he greeted us with drinks and even had a plate of cocktail hour food ready for us after the ceremony. We felt so well taken care of and can’t recommend Maison Cuisine enough!

They were so accommodating with our signature cocktail requests. We were so impressed with JC during our final walk through and on our wedding day. Many guests told us how great it was - it was even better than at our tasting. We had the bruschetta, bacon wrapped dates, and mini grilled cheese with tomato soup during cocktail hour. For our dinner options we had the Caesar salad, bone-in chicken, filet mignon, and a vegetarian pasta. Their prices were also incredibly reasonable and competitive. We could not have had the wedding we had without Maison. Book with them for a smooth, detail oriented, caring, and delicious wedding experience!

Nick was our day-to-day point of contact and became such an invaluable part of our wedding. On the day of, he felt more like a thoughtful, kind friend than a vendor — making sure we ate, stayed hydrated, and felt comfortable throughout the entire reception. He also helped coordinate the room setup and worked flawlessly with our day of coordinator and venue, The Library at 190 S LaSalle. It’s no surprise Maison was highly recommended as a one stop shop caterer there — they made everything seamless and stress-free. We are so incredibly grateful to the Maison team for their care, professionalism, and warmth. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and our guests are still raving about the entire experience! Highly recommend.

The food was amazing and they even worked with our favorite French bakery to provide their rolls for dinner. All of our guests felt full and loved their meals, especially the apps! The grilled cheese and arancini were the best. They were also so easy to work with for various diets and were able to make almost all their food vegan. I loved having them cater our wedding!

to answer my daily 20 questions. Her and our wedding coordinator were in contact leading up to our big day communicating organizing which took a lot of stress off our plate. We had many guests with particular dietary restrictions and allergies at our wedding and Maison was able to accommodate, even with a buffet. We still have guests telling us about how absolutely delicious everything was. From the hors d’oeuvres, to the salad, to the entrees and sides, everything was amazing and went beyond your typical “wedding food.” (HIGHLY recommend the beef tenderloin that was a fan favorite across the board). You truly get what you pay for with wedding catering, and Maison was no exception. Worth every penny.

Planning we wedding myself, finding a caterer and making sure you are asking the right questions is very daunting. Danielle explained how the whole process worked with the tasting, booking, rentals, etc and made it so easy for me. There is a lot that goes into catering selections and rentals that I never realized and Maison held my hand the entire way. Scheduling our tasting was so easy, and my goodness was the food DELICIOUS!! Wedding food is hit or miss, and Maison exceeded our expectations. I mean, seriously. And they were very reasonably priced in my opinion. High quality service and food. I hope to attend a wedding in the future that uses them so I can eat their food again!! Nick, who led our tasting and helped with our rental selections, final venue walkthrough, and day-of logistics for our wedding, was absolutely wonderful to work with. He is passionate about what he does, he is personable, and understands a vision. He helped me narrow down my decisions when it came to selecting napkins, tablecloths, plates, etc which I greatly appreciated and trusted his opinion. At one point I think I told him I would trust him with my life lol—that’s how good he is. At our wedding, one of my relatives pulled him aside to let him know how impressed he was with Nick and how he ran the catering for our wedding, and how great the food was! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how this was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding. I can’t say enough about the quality, portion and presentation of the food at our wedding. Each course came out perfectly on time, so guests were not waiting for the next—delayed food at weddings seems to be common, so this was a HUGE positive. Nick consistently checked in on my husband and I at our wedding and personally made sure that we had everything we needed and that we got all the drinks we wanted! When the cocktail hour began, I wanted a private moment to eat some of the cocktail hour food, and Nick had an entire plate ready for us along with our signature drinks. His attention to detail and thoughtfulness cannot be underscored enough. The staff at our wedding was wonderful—all of the servers, bartenders, support staff, were all very put together, friendly, and professional. We are grateful to them for giving us and our guests a wonderful experience on our wedding day. I am thrilled with our decision to use Maison for our wedding and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting married or having an event in the Chicagoland area—you will not regret your decision!! One couple who had an allergy to the main ingredients to the salad were served a separate garden salad and told us they’d never felt so taken care of as guests at a wedding before. The Maison team is a pleasure to work with. Danielle answered my questions literally the entire year leading up to my wedding and JC was the best captain for wedding night one could hope for. From the small details like suggesting I change the timing of some of my day of agenda, to suggesting I add a pop of color to my tables with the napkins weeks before, and to having a plate of hors devours waiting for my husband and I to enjoy together after our ceremony before joining the cocktail hour. I never pictured going into my wedding day with so much trust in other people because I am such a control freak, but I felt so content because of the Maison team. Above and beyond delivering exceptional service, Nick took great care of my husband and I on our wedding night, making sure we were well-fed and always had a moment to ourselves if we needed it. While Maison provided the catering services, the food was provided by close friends of ours. It was a HUGE win/win - we got to have our friends provide food, which meant so much to us, and our friends got to truly enjoy our wedding celebration instead of working the whole evening.
