We love getting to know every couple that walks down the aisle at Maison May. That’s why, before the planning starts, we invite you to have one-on-one visit and consultation.This way, you get to know us, and we get to know who you are as a couple.

We planned our wedding in less than a month and felt completely taken care of and worry free. Our garden ceremony was perfect as well. Thank you Catherine and Claudia. Our wedding day saw a deluge of rain not seen for decades, causing floods and generally bringing most things screeching to a halt. Fortunately the beautiful Maison May building was unaffected and what’s more, Claudia reached out to us to let us know not to worry about set up, that their team was on it and everything would be ready for us whenever we were able to arrive. Fortunately we were not too delayed in the end but were amazed to find the space beautifully laid out and the Maison May bartender waiting with a drink to calm our nerves. Our initial plans of having the ceremony in the backyard were dashed by the weather but we found the parlor to be a truly lovely experience, with great acoustics and lighting for the ceremony.
Throughout the night Claudia and her team personally checked in on us often, even finding us on the dance floor if we were in need of something in particular. The food was delicious and plentiful, the drinks fresh and tasty and the atmosphere, just what we had hoped for. We were pitched that the space was meant to feel like a dinner party, and it did. What we didn’t know was that it would feel like some loving (and stylish!) family members had thrown the party for us.
We are so grateful that we chose Maison May as our venue, it felt incredibly special and warm despite the disastrous weather. We would not hesitate to recommend Maison May and would be so glad to return for future events.

rustic urban vibe to it, and we didn't feel we had to change anything or decorate to get great wedding photos. The staff set everything up for us and made sure we didn't have to worry about the little details. We had a brunch wedding, and the food was amazing! We would highly recommend this venue!

ound to be perfect amount for the venue. We were married outside in the garden, had a seated family-style dinner downstairs and outside, and cocktail hour and dancing was upstairs. The food was superb- all of our guests raved about it and I loved that it was family style so that everyone could try some of everything. To my surprise, they sent us home with leftovers!
Claudia, Bri, and their team did a wonderful job with the planning, decorating, and executing and really went the extra mile to give us everything we wanted at our wedding. The staff was all lovely and seemed to genuinely be happy to be working our wedding, which just added to the wonderful atmosphere of the evening.
We also had our rehearsal dinner around the corner at their cafe- Maison May Vanderbilt. Kat helped us plan that and it was absolutely beautiful with equally excellent food.

herefore, autumn inspired food was served. Everyone, and I mean everyone including the pickiest of eaters (there were a handful of those in my family) ate everything and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Weeks later, people are still telling me how much they loved the food.
The restaurant itself is in a revamped brownstone, which I loved. There is a garden patio outside for a ceremony, and upstairs is the White Room for the reception. Yes, it's all white including the floor. The white room works with any color theme you may have for your wedding. I chose white/black with a hint of red. It was simple and elegant, and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
The people here, were nothing but amazing. They answered all of my questions, and truly understand that this is your big day, and will ensure that everything goes according to plan. I highly recommend this place!
