Majestic Theatre

We truly could not have picked a more perfect place for our wedding! We already loved the Majestic as a music venue, so getting married there made the whole experience even more special. The space looked absolutely beautiful, having our photo on the marquee was such an amazing touch, and we received SO many compliments from guests about how unique and genuinely “majestic” the night felt. For anyone wondering how it works as a wedding venue, we had about 130 guests and everyone fit very comfortably. For the ceremony, the main level can seat up to 146, so all of our guests were able to be together downstairs. The staff then handled the room turnover for the reception at no extra charge. We seated 85 downstairs, including our 14-person wedding party at a U-shaped head table on stage, with another 46 seats upstairs between the balcony, cocktail tables, and opera boxes. Tables are included, we could bring in the caterers and vendors of our choice, and we had dedicated vendor parking/loading behind the venue. Security and ticket scanning at the entrance were also included at no extra charge. Izzy, the Majestic’s venue coordinator, was wonderful throughout the entire planning process and helped us work through so many logistical questions and little details. We were even able to visit the venue multiple times as new questions and last-minute planning details came up, which was incredibly helpful. On the wedding day, she and the entire staff were fantastic and made everything feel so organized and well taken care of. And the in-house sound and lighting were AMAZING! Having access to the Majestic’s professional setup was such a huge perk. Their tech made our reception truly feel like a concert, with incredible sound, great bass, and beautiful lighting. The Majestic was such a huge part of what made our wedding feel so special and so perfectly us. It was absolutely worth the investment, and we would choose it again in a heartbeat!

It is impossible to express how beautiful and perfect our wedding reception was at The Majestic Theatre in Madison, WI. The event staff, from the bartenders to the security to the event coordinators, were so super helpful and accommodating and made the entire event go by so smoothly. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and provides the most perfect non-traditional wedding reception venue for anyone looking for a cool and intimate place to party. Our coordinators Melissa and Carolyn were super helpful and responsive, even accommodating some last minute requests I had. I can't thank the staff enough for helping us put on such a great party. Highly recommend!!
