But Marjorie didn’t even flinch — she quickly pivoted, came up with a new look that kept the same vibe, and in all honesty… it looked even better than the trial style. Her ability to think on the fly and stay calm under pressure was so impressive. And my makeup — wow. I was breaking out due to stress, but you would never have known. She made me look absolutely flawless while still keeping everything soft, natural, and not at all heavy. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself, and I can’t thank her enough for that. She gave me so much confidence in myself, which is something every bride needs on their wedding day. I looked my best and therefore I felt my best. My bridesmaids were also glowing — everyone looked STUNNING. Marjorie was so easy to work with throughout the entire process — professional, organized, and truly helped us figure out a timeline that kept everything running smoothly. I had a large bridal party— Her and her team did 17 hair and makeup services for my wedding, and everyone was extremely happy with their hair and makeup. Because I had a larger party, we had to begin at 5AM and my ceremony was at 5PM, and everybody’s hair and makeup held up throughout the entire day. I was crying during the ceremony and dancing during the reception and still looked great. I really cannot thank her enough. I recommend her 100% !!!!

up being pushed back three times due to the pandemic, but despite all of those complications, Marjorie was easy to reschedule with and SO supportive the whole time, which meant a lot during that tricky time. She worked so much magic on the big day and gave me the glam Hollywood look of my dreams. My hair and makeup were flawless throughout the wedding and even through the afterparty which lasted until 4 AM! Marjorie also did hair and makeup for my MIL and mother, and hair for my maid of honor, and they were all blown away by her work. On top of being talented, professional, and punctual, Marjorie is also so sweet and fun to talk to -- which is super important when you're getting your hair and makeup done for multiple hours! She was an absolute joy to work with and I highly recommend her for any wedding or special occasion.

with her. Looking at her work on Instagram, I knew she would be able to create a look that was right for me -- and also my wedding party. My wedding party has an array of skin tones from extremely light to very dark. (I have heard horror stories of MUAs putting foundation for pale white women onto faces of black women which is outrageous.) I was thrilled when I found out that she was available for my postponed wedding date due to COVID and booked her right away. During my trial, Marjorie was patient and made me feel comfortable. Throughout the trial she would check that I liked what she was doing and if I didn't we made adjustments as needed. She also provided professional advice in terms of looks and how things will appear, especially in photos. When I left my trial I was super thrilled with how my hair and makeup both looked and she recreated perfectly a year later on my wedding day. Marjorie and her team (Jeannette and Julia) arrived on time for the day of and were extremely efficient in getting myself and all of the girls done. They all were easy to talk to and understood the look everyone was going for. Every single girl that got hair and makeup done looked absolutely stunning and still looked like themselves (not overly done). We had an absolute blast spending the morning with them and getting ready -- they were supportive and made everyone feel beautiful. A testament to how awesome a job they all did is that we all spent a hot August day walking around Central Park taking pictures after our ceremony (with masks on) and everyone's hair and makeup was still perfectly in tact. Marjorie did both my hair and makeup for the big day and I got compliments on the look all day. Even the next day, my makeup was still perfect and my hair, which has difficulty holding curls, was still set (and this is after a hot August day). I could not recommend using Marjorie and her team enough -- truly made the day extra special and perfect.

Literally days before my (last minute ceremony) she agreed to do my hair and it came out BEAUTIFUL! All of my bridesmaids are super excited to have their hair done by her for the big celebration that we postponed until next year and I can't blame them. BIG plus.. If you have a tender head, Marjorie is definitely the stylist to hire... she has the magic touch, no pulling or yanking. I HIGHLY recommend her!

after the trial I was so happy. For my wedding day I had some anxiety and Marjorie’s relaxing personality truly helped. She took her time to make me feel and look beautiful, she arrived earlier and full of energy, she made me and my MOH look amazing. Marjorie came with Dana (makeup artist) since I had 3 other women’s makeup to do which included my mother (finishing radiation for breast cancer) and I am so happy Marjorie brought Dana because Dana made my mother so happy even though she wasn’t feeling well that morning. Dana and Marjorie worked so well together both full of energy and such beautiful personalities. month I was a guest to a two-day wedding so I got my makeup done from Marjorie again. She did such a great job and gave me different looks for each day. I was extremely happy and satisfied with her work. Marjorie was very professional and friendly. I did not get a chance to get my hair done from her yet but I will definitely hire her for makeup and hair for any future events.

As for the process, Marjorie was very professional. We discussed my style, expectations, and budget. When I showed her my desired hair style (Hollywood waves), she expressed I needed extensions to achieve the look I wanted and recommended a few places to look for hair extensions. Bless her soul because I asked her a ton of questions and she was always ready and willing to help me. When it came down to securing the date, she provided a contract for review and requested a deposit. She offered a very reasonable rate for her services. We also discussed the hair trial, which I had to re-schedule twice. She was very accommodating. During my bridal trial, I traveled to her home and she went to work. My hair was already blow dried – as per the contract. She styled my hair perfectly. She previously suggested I bring all hairpieces, including my veil. I brought various head pieces as I was not sure which would work best and she patiently helped me decide. I also brought my veil and extensions to try on. A few days before my big day, she sent me a schedule with time slots for each member of the bridal party. She suggested I shared the list with the MUA, which I did. They never met prior to my wedding day and they worked very well together. On my big day, she arrived on time and ready to go. She brought all her hair tools and products, and set them up in a very organized manner. All her tools were clean and she kept her space very organized. Per contract she met me at the venue after the ceremony. She slightly adjusted my hairstyle – she removed the veil, secured the hairpiece and re-curled my hair. She also joined me for pictures to adjust my hair as needed. She was well dressed – she looked like a wedding guest. I am very satisfied with her services. She is an exceptional hair stylist. My hair was glamorous all night long. She is also an MUA and my eyebrow esthetician. I recommend her to all my friends.

r partner came in and were ready to work the second they walked in ! She is amazing to work with and she really took the time to understanding the look I was envisioning for my wedding day. I did have a trial months in advance and was so impressed that I had hired her to do my makeup for two more weddings I attended in the summer. Even on the last few days leading to the wedding I was debating the look I was going for and she assured me via text that everything would turn out perfectly and it DID! Marjorie stayed with me the entire step of the way adding touch ups throughout the photo sessions and then doing a second look for me when I put on my second dress! She is so easy to talk too and very understanding! I could not imagine having anyone else for my wedding day! She makes you look and feel gorgeous on one of the best days of your life.
