Alicia was our day of coordinator and she made sure everything went so smoothly. She is so professional and easy to work with. The game room and bridal suite in the basement were the perfect spaces for our bridal party to hang out in before the ceremony as guests arrived. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful day and the venue and staff at Majorette were awesome!!

Our ~200 guests have gone out of their way to rave to us about the beauty of the venue itself and how fun and unique the game-room was downstairs! Looking back now, I can confidently say there is absolutely nothing I would have changed about our evening at the Majorette. It was by far the most perfect night of my, and my now husbands, life! ❤️

f the space is great for everyone to feel like they're all part of the same event but broken up enough where you can have different decoration areas and make the space yours! One of the big selling points was the game room downstairs, which we added on as our afterparty. This was so great to keep the party going without that awkward/chaotic "where are we going?" phase at the end of the reception. Overall, Majorette has a great team and staff, and we were able to make the space feel like it was ours to host a fun reception!

o put your own spin on things to make your event your own. I could not be happier with the way the space turned out looking the day of our wedding. We chose to do both ceremony and reception in the space and the team worked to ensure things went just like we envisioned. It was an easy transition while the team flipped the room and we got a lot of compliments on how unique the venue was and how smooth things seemed to go. The team at Majorette is huge part of my 5 star review! When we found Majorette they were willing to show the space to my friend with me on FaceTime as we live out of town and then again when I was able to visit in person. We had a coordinator transition happen a few months in but no one skipped a beat. Brenden got up to speed and was all over the details. He was professional but approachable and as the day got closer, I felt supported by his checking in and ensuring last minute things were taken care of. He was also super helpful offering advice or ideas for some things I just wasn't sure about. Having him around the day-of was also huge. We were so glad he was there to help and work with our day-of coordinator and we got several compliments from family and guests that interacted with him about how helpful and friendly he was. His flexibility to some changes we made, especially during the reception, was so appreciated too. If you opt for Majorette, ask for Brenden! Thank you Brenden and the Majorette Team!

ur original venue. The first time we saw it, we fell in love instantly and ended up loving it more than our original location! The team was so supportive and helpful with helping us create our dream ceremony. The venue itself is insanely gorgeous, especially with the addition of the courtyard for pictures. Everyone in the bridal party also loved using the amazing game room and bridal suite before the ceremony. My husband and I are forever grateful for this venue and its amazing team.

And, who could forge the second floor perimeter seating? Some of the Majorette features are an upcharge, so keep an eye on budget, but they provided us with a memorable celebration we'll never forget.

Jess was the real MVP on wedding day! She always made sure my groom & I were taken care of. She brought us an array of our appetizers, personally made us dinner plates, kept our champagne glasses full, & asked us if we wanted drinks. When we walked in before guests arrived, my partner made the comment that she directed the staff & operated with the efficiency of a "NASCAR pitcrew" - seriously, the staff is so efficient, welcoming, & we just loved how friendly & fun the bartenders were to compliment our amazing evening! They know how to plan & coordinate events -they take all the stress off your shoulders to entertain your guests while you watch the magic of the day unfold before your eyes. re shown the utmost professional event planning and accommodating staff we could have imagined. The last two months leading up to our jamboree were sort of a sprint to the finish line with ever changing guidelines and last minute changes on our part. Jess was the literal best! She asked the right questions, helped us make decisions, and beautifully shaped how the entire event went, working side by side with her staff. She’s a queen! The space itself is just as awesome as the staff. It is bright and open, with tons of cool artwork and settings to take cool insta-worthy photos complete with a gorgeous black and white staircase that will fit the largest (and loudest) of families. Even the bathrooms have cool and unique art throughout) The courtyard looks like a dream, and the back deck is a great use of outdoor space. The Mezzanine also makes for great levels and interesting floor plans. This beautiful space and it’s staff hosted one of the best parties of my entire life, all wrapped up with a perfect giant “M”! I was not one of those brides who has had every detail of her wedding planned since age 13, so I was very grateful for Deidre’s calming manner and careful guidance which made planning our wedding a fun experience. The space itself is so wonderful that it required very little decoration to make it look beautiful, so if you’re looking to spend less money but still have the wedding of your dreams, look no further than the Majorette!

onversely, there were wineries or barns as non-city venues. Neither seemed to fit what we were looking for until we found Majorette. Located in Maplewood, the venue is situated in a much safer area than Downtown and has it's own parking lot for guests. It holds up to 500 people indoors, which ended up being perfect for when capacity restrictions were placed because of COVID and we wanted to spread guests out. Additionally, they have a back patio and a newly added courtyard, which is absolutely adorable! We loved having two separate outdoor areas for guests to escape the main room or get some fresh air. It also was great for photo ops. The main room is grand - large center staircase leading down from the mezzanine to the main floor creates quite the entrance and aesthetic. Having a mezzanine level not only provides extra space for seating, but also gives those guests a birds eye view of everything rather than being tucked far away in a corner trying to look over heads to see what is going on. We also loved the bridal suite and the game room area downstairs. It is a hidden gem perfect for the bride and groom and their wedding party to hide away or for an after party. There are so many unique elements to Majorette that make it stands apart from other venues in St.Louis. I would highly recommend it to any couple!

ght come in. Covid changed our plans a bit and we ended up having our ceremony there as well. This was a decision that happened just a few months before the wedding. Stressed out the event coordinator Jess put our minds at ease and let us know no worries we could get married there too. Throughout the process she kept in contact with us with the ever changing city guidelines and a lot of helpful suggestions. Jess was also very helpful with the flow of the ceremony and reception at the rehearsal. We were able to take pictures on the beautiful patio before the wedding and the greenery was the perfect touch! Weeks later I’m still getting compliments about how beautiful the venue is. The venue also has a lot of space. Before Covid we were going to have a little over 200 guest and we knew if would fit that number comfortably and still give us a big dance floor. We were so happy that the venue was so large that it still allowed 120 guest to spread out during the wedding and room for dinner tables. My husband and I are still saying we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue and amazing day with great staff.

The venue coordinator, Jessica, bent over backwards to make our daughters wedding perfect and memorable. This was a very challenging job because we were doing this during a pandemic, with the county and city routinely changing their rules and mandates. 3 1/2 weeks before the wedding we had to move the ceremony from the church to the Majorette! Jessica took this in stride and held our hand and guided us through the entire process. She was very professional and knowledgeable. She had answers to our questions and reassurances to all our concerns. The evening of the ceremony and reception she and her staff were ever present, making sure everything was going exactly perfectly. If I had another child to marry off, I would definitely return to the Majorette!

Your guests will be impressed and have a great time! We did the "Pop the Bubbly" planning package, so we were able to have several planning meetings beforehand with Alyssa and Kelly, who were so professional, sweet and accommodating with our schedules. We actually had a theme wedding with tons of very specific, detailed decorations - they handled all of the decorating for me and everything was perfect! We also opted for the after-party in the basement game room which we would recommend, as so many of our guests stayed to keep celebrating! They also have an adorable pink bridal suite, a nice outdoor deck area and they just opened a beautiful side yard/courtyard as well. I cannot thank Majorette enough for such a perfect night!

The glass wall on the second floor made everyone feel like they were still just as close to the head table and gave a great view! The staff at the Majorette could not have been more helpful in making our day flow perfectly. When we at the last minute realized we were having some timing issues and were not going to be able to do our own setting up as we had hoped, Amanda allowed us to customize our package to include setup and graciously stepped in to do it. The final look was just what we had hoped, and Amanda and the rest of the staff really did whatever we needed to make the night flow. Although the initial costs were a bit higher than some other venues and there was a bit more coordination to do ourselves because we picked all of our vendors, in the end we were able to not only save some money by customizing but also got exactly what we wanted for the day. We could not have been happier with our choice!

s venue justice, as I remember the day I walked in I thought wow this space is gorgeous and very spacious! Our wedding went off without a hitch, because of the fantastic people that work at the Majorette. I am very grateful for Mo, who initially answered all of our questions about the venue and helped us out with other vendors throughout the wedding process and Steve, who helped us make our dream a reality and literally found a way to make anything happen (like having jack and coke for my husband who won't drink any other whiskey, allowing our guests to watch the Kentucky Derby during our cocktail hour, and helping our day-of-coordinator with whatever she needed). Steve also helped us find our day-of-coordinator, Katie S., who also helped get every single vendor coordinated and set up all our decorations (a complete life savor on the the day of our wedding). My husband and I wanted a classy wedding but we also wanted our guests to enjoy themselves. We wanted guests to walk in and say "yes, this is totally what I envisioned for Kyle and Elizabeth". I will say every guest thought it exuded our personalities, and I think anyone would feel the same. A huge plus is the after party being in the basement with pool tables, darts, and shuffle board! We were able to keep our guests safe and enjoying each others company for that much longer. I could go on and on, but all I have to say is if you see this review, don't hesitate....JUST BOOK THE MAJORETTE! You won't regret it.

We booked this venue when it was still under construction and it surpassed all of our expectations. happy we did! We got to see the magic take shape and come to life! The venue is incredible, so much to customize in the space and there is so much space! Erinn and Kelly are superb! They were on top of every single little thing related to the reception and conception of design and order of the night! Erinn was the best reception planner/organizer I could have ever dreamed of! She kept each moment rolling into the next and gently and so kindly reminded us, and the DJ, what came next! She was brilliant and so friendly to our guests as well. Majorette is a great location! Extraordinary space inside, beautiful patio, and the downstairs after party was the best decision I've ever made! We danced, played pool, played twister and had plenty of space and time to relax and hang out with our friends and family who stayed! Cut down on our guests cab fares for the night and kept everyone together to continue the celebration! It was truly magical and they have amazing preferred caterers! I was really impressed by their diversity and price range per caterers of choice. I am completely satisfied with the venue and staff! Everything was perfect and we are already talking about having a reason to have another party or event at the Majorette! Thank you so much!
