Make It Fit

I needed to get my bridesmaid dress hemmed and was worried about the pricing because it was so long and has a lot of fabric. I brought it in to Make It Fit to consult on the pricing and it was so reasonable I immediately asked for the hemming to be done here. I put on the dress with the heels I will be wearing and it was the easiest and quickest dress-marking experience I have had. My general experience is that it takes time for the measurements because the seamstress generally would mark the adjustment with needles but at Make It Fit, she just had me stand on a raised platform while she adjusted a chalk machine that she used to simply mark the length while moving around me. I was literally in the store for 15 minutes and was assured it would be ready in a week. I was going to be out of town in that pick up time so they allowed me to leave my dress saying I could pick it up at anytime after the date it would be ready. It was such an easy and positive experience I will definitely bring any future pieces here for tailoring.

Dana! is absolutely amazing! She really helped piece together every detail of my perfect wedding dress! I could not have been better blessed with such a kind woman and service! Not only does she have a beautiful collection of dresses, but also an amazing seamstress! I go to her along with my family for our every tailoring need! :]

I didn't want to just go to any tailor to take in my dress and I didn't want to have the dress shop I purchased it from fit it because they always overprice and could not accomodate my hours. So I found Make it Fit online and since their reviews were great and it was close by AND I could come get fitted on a weekend day I had to try them out. The lady there was very pleasant (the cashier not so much) Anyway I took my dress in months before and was pleased at the turn around time and the price! Also impressed to learn that they had a customer they accomodated that needed her dress taken in and completed in 1 day! Make it Fit is awesome!

I searched high and low for a unique/all lace gown that was within my budget for $1,000 and ended up finding a beautiful spanish/bohemian inspired San Patrick sample @ Make It Fit/ Juliana's Bridal. It is truly a one-of-a-kind dress and it was even on sale. Only problem was it was quite a few sizes too big (and continued to be more so as I lost more weight). Altering this multi-patterned/heavy/all-lace gown was no small feat and Make It Fit did a wonderful job! I also feel that the prices are GREAT for such quality work. I don't know any brides that had more alterations than I did and they all paid more for their bridal dress fittings. Juliana is such a kind/sweet woman, and always put me at ease. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place- I will be a returning customer for years to come!
