ne who was passionate about the industry she worked in and would do a great job
My makeup trial was great. She expressed concern for understanding my skin type to make sure my makeup during the trial and my wedding was optimal. She heard my vision and gave her professional opinion on what would look best. She took notes and saved my looked from the trial to understand how best to execute on the wedding day.
On the wedding day itself, she was able to execute great looks on various skin tones of my bridesmaids. She then absolutely rocked my wedding makeup! I wanted to still look like myself while also having makeup show up on camera and she executed that perfectly. She took her time and did not let me out of the chair until things were perfect. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and I am so thankful for Ligia for perfecting my makeup look!
Working with Ligia was just wonderful!!! It was tough to find a make-up artist for women of color and I am quite glad that I stumbled upon her on The Knot. Ever since our trial ses...
sion, I felt so at ease. She knows how to set the right atmosphere, which was helpful. On the big day, my whole family loved her. She was friendly and just provided an upbeat energy to the preparations. But most importantly, that lady just has a gift for make-up!!! We all looked so beautiful without looking too “done-up”, which was exactly what I was looking for. I recommend Ligia wholeheartedly and won’t hesitate to use her services again for another occasion.
Finding a makeup artist who shares photos of clients with a range of skin tones was much harder than expected, but Ligia really does help a wide range of people look and feel beaut...
iful. During our trial, Ligia and I had a fun chat while she patiently listened to what I hoped for with my makeup. She took her time and, in some moments, guided me toward choices that would show up better on camera. After the trial, she followed up a few days later and asked for my feedback on anything I wanted more or less of. On the wedding day, she brought a positive energy and all the bridesmaids and moms loved working with her, including folks who don’t usually wear makeup and were nervous about having it done! Everyone looked stunning thanks to Ligia!

sure their look was complete. I received many compliments on my makeup throughout the night, and had no issues with it lasting. It somehow also came off fairly easily at the end of the night, which was appreciated! Ligia was organized and professional throughout the process. She sent tips ahead of time for how to prep, which was appreciated! I would recommend Ligia for anyone looking for bridal makeup.

om full of retired competitive dancers. Our makeup (I did airbrush, the rest did traditional) lasted all night through lots of tears, dancing, and even bowling at our after party. Everyone felt super confident and have been raving about her services to me since. She even managed to make my very stubborn, dark under eyes seemingly disappear. I never looked so awake LOL.
Ligia was phenomenal! Both myself and my wedding party looked nothing short of amazing! I loved how she mixed colors and gave us bridal glam but we still looked like ourselves. I h...

ed and at ease. She is beautiful, inside and out, professional and knowledgable. I love how she walked me through the process since this was my first time having makeup done professionally. I felt and looked beautiful thanks to this talented woman!

a’s page. I was shocked to read her reviews and found not one bad review on her page, I can see why now. Ligia is hands down one of the best makeup artist that’s ever done my makeup. She is a life saver, in so many ways. My bridesmaids makeup were amazing they were obsessed with their make up. My bridal makeup was better then the trial on the day of the wedding. Thank you so much for everything. I would recommend her to anyone looking to look amazing on their wedding day. You absolutely will not go wrong with Ligia.
I knew I wanted Ligia to do my make-up for my wedding before I knew I was getting married! She did the make-up for a wedding my friend was in and I was blown away by her skills. ...
From the moment I contacted Ligia she was very helpful and responsive. I went in for a trial and due to the fact that she wasn't totally happy with the results of my first trial she invited me back for a second trial to ensure I looked flawless on my big day!
Ligia takes her job very seriously and is meticulous about every detail. Prior to the wedding Ligia provided me with some helpful hints on what would help me prepare my face to look its best. She did the make up for myself and 4 other women all of varying ages and skin tones and she made all of us look gorgeous and the best part was it felt amazing. I am not one that wears a lot of makeup regularly and neither are the other but the airbrush make up is awesome, it felt great and stayed put all day & night! I also opted for the false lashes and I LOVED how they looked!
On top of her skills Ligia is one of the most genuine people I have ever met, from the trial to my wedding day it was so easy communicating with her and she is just so easy to be around, she just fit right in on the day of the wedding and did a phenomenal job at getting me and my ladies photo ready!

p trial and I was so impressed with how she made me look. I don't normally wear makeup so I told her that I didn't want anything too heavy. She made me look beautiful in the trial and I was confident about the big day. I looked even better on my wedding day and so did all my bridesmaids and my mother and mother in law. My mother looked beautiful and the makeup wasn't too much. I would absolutely recommend Ligia to any bride.

up done for the day, and didn't want to have to stray far from our comfy hotel room. We found Ligia online and loved her portfolio. And when we stressed about looking for a great hair stylist to also come to our hotel for the wedding day, she recommended Annie who was also the best! Listen future brides -- if you are looking to enjoy your wedding morning and day, hang out with family and friends in your hotel or wherever you're staying, and want to make sure you look flawless by go-time, hire this woman. Everyone's makeup was perfectly suited to their personality and color palette. I've never felt so beautiful than when I walked out of my room en route to the wedding venue from the hotel. Ligia is wonderful, professional, talented, and a no-brainer for your makeup choice on what will be the best day of your life.
