Tara is a true professional. The bridal party looked stunning for the wedding. Hair and make up were on point!
Makeovers On Call is the place to call if you need to look beautiful on any special occasion. Tara and her team took care of me and 8 others on my wedding day back in August 2015. ...
She has the expertise and talent to showcase someone's natural beauty. She is able to do all types of hair styling options with all different types of hair. She made a beautiful up-do for me that lasted all night, even with all the dancing and jumping I did on the day and even working on my grandmother's hair that is really fine hair and very hard to work with. Tara's skill in applying makeup is wonderful! All my photos turned out great and she really made me feel so special. Tara and her team are patient, professional, and experienced artists. You do not need to look anywhere else. I was so happy and lucky to work with her! I am sure you will feel the same way.
I was very happy with Makeovers on Call. Tara was very nice and did a fantastic job on hair and makeup. She and one assistant worked basically non-stop to do hair and makeup for ...
8 of us and everyone looked great! The makeup and hair lasted all night, even despite some wind during pictures and the ceremony. I was really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Tara to other brides!
I mostly communicated with Tara for my September 2014 wedding. I received a recommendation about Makeovers On Call from one of my bridesmaids after my hairstylist was not availabl...
e. Overall, I was happy with her expertise and professionalism. She always responded in a timely manner.
The only issues I had with Makeovers On Call were the start time for hair and make up on my wedding day and the cancellation policy. I had 10 people, including me, who wanted at least hair, some make up, and a couple eyelash extensions. I realize coordinating a large party can be difficult for 3 stylists, but everyone was finished before the departure time without needing 8 hours to get ready. They did it in 5 hours because I did not want to start getting everyone ready at 6 am since it was already going to me a long day. As for the cancellation policy, I could have misunderstood it, but it said I could cancel services up to 4 weeks prior to the event. When a couple of girls in my wedding party chose not to have their makeup done, I informed Tara 4 weeks prior to my wedding, and she said those services could not be cancelled without penalty since I had already signed the contract. When I signed the contraction, there was no mention of adding/eliminating services once it was signed, only that I had 4 weeks prior to the event. Eventually, everything was smoothed out but communication on both ends needs to be clear with Makeovers On Call
AHHH Where do I even begin?!?! I am SO happy that I found Tara and her team! I had Tara and her team do my hair and make-up for my wedding PLUS 6 bridesmaids hair and 1 bridesmaid...
make-up for my August 2nd wedding. They did a phenomenal job and all of my bridesmaids were so happy with their hair. I am absolutely impressed with the quality of work Tara and her team provided for my wedding day - and the best part about hiring Makeovers On Call is that they come to you! I highly recommend using Makeovers On Call for your wedding day - if you want pictures of my bridesmaids and my hair/makeup I would be HAPPY to send them along to you

ged my mind the morning of my wedding to a different hairstyle and it turned out 100xs better than what we had tried during the trial. Tara and her team were so flexible with our schedule and very professional. I couldn't have asked for better service for my wedding day. I would highly recommend Tara's services if you have it in your budget to have hair and make-up come to you for your big day!! It was definitely a huge stress reliever to have Tara and her team come to us. She even sent me a note after my wedding following up and asking how my family and friends were doing only having spent a few hours with them. I can't say enough nice things about Tara and her team and highly recommend choosing her for your hair and make-up if you're in the DC area!!
Tara provided outstanding service to me and five bride ladies at my DC wedding in May. Her assistant did a phenomenal job applying MAC makeup to the ladies.

akeup, both were beautiful. I had hair extensions and Tara applied them so well that they stayed in place all day and night. Having never used MAC products before, I was worried about my skin having a reaction so I brought my own makeup and was really happy with Tara’s artistry. Oh and for those with sensitive skin, I did not have any bad reactions to the MAC products. The Makeovers on Call team did different hair and makeup looks for each bride lady and they all looked stunning. If you are looking for hair or makeup for your wedding in the DC area, I highly recommend hiring Makeovers on Call!

my hair looked like I had more hair than I have. They recommended clip-in extensions and I was so happy with the result. The good thing about my clip-in extensions is that I can still use them after the wedding. One of my bridesmaids is also getting married and she was so happy with her hair and makeup that she wants to use them for her wedding. I highly recommend them! I was so happy with my hair and makeup. They were on-time, super professional and efficient! I enjoyed the experience.

oked so beautiful. I was scheduled for a trial and they did a great job and I was really looking forward to the wedding day! They were able to do exactly what we asked them to do and everyone was thrilled! None of us had any issues with hair falling out of place the entire night and our makeup looked so good in photos.
