First of all, the girls all looked amazing. One of my friends recently told me she looked better at my wedding than at her own thanks to Kerry-Lou's team. Everyone got exactly the look they wanted and then some. Kerry-Lou and her team understood what everyone wanted. Kerry-Lou herself is a calming presence. She knows what she is doing and is patient when working with you. I changed my mind about my hair three times and even did two trials. The day of the wedding she just knew exactly what I wanted. My final look was beyond all my expectations. In the end, I couldn't imagine working with anyone else. We had so much fun getting ready and part of that was the crew that we had. Every girl looked so fabulous, I still get told I had the best looking bridal party. On a final note, Kerry-Lou made the timing of the day run so smoothly. Listen to her and her scheduling and you will have zero issues. She was also flexible and moved some things around to ensure my mom got the proper attention. I just always felt she was aware of everything and ready for any challenge. You cannot go wrong working with Kerry-Lou.

I wanted to try a few different styles because I was uncertain and a little insecure about how I would be able to pull off a birdcage for the big day but she was very patient and encouraged me to play with a few different looks for my hair and makeup, which was so much fun. I finally showed her a picture I found from a magazine on our 4th trial and she perfected it on my big day. On the big day, her and her crew arrived right on time! I even thought I lost my "eyelashes" but she came all prepared and had a dozen for me to choose from. Her crew is professional and they made my bridal party look so natural and beautiful. I was really astonished by how all our hair looked and how well it kept up through the night. She made me feel so beautiful and I felt so comfortable with my bird cage (something I thought I wouldn't be able to pull off!) By the way, I was one of those brides who cried at everything - by the end of the night, my makeup still looked flawless! Thank you Kerry-Lou!

I wanted something a little edgy to offset the traditional dress I had chosen, and I was nervous because I wanted something not overly "bridal," but I wasn't able to schedule a trial (although Kerry-Lou had done my hair and makeup on other occasions). I had sent K-L a couple of photos of the flavor of what I wanted, and she somehow was able to give me exactly what I was hoping for. It was glamorous and different without being over the top, and it had just the right balance of polish and edginess - it was perfectly me and perfectly as I had imagined. I was so happy. Same goes for my makeup, which lasted the whole day. I also found her input really helpful, as when we were discussing the eye makeup, and she said about one style, "you need to be in a certain kind of mood to pull this off, and I don't think you're in that mood right now, so I would suggest this instead." She was right, and it was great to have her opinion - at that moment I just needed someone to help me decide. And in an extra-special touch of sweetness and generosity, she even did a quick hair and makeup job on my mom, who hadn't signed up for it (she rarely wears makeup), but who needed a pick-me-up before the ceremony - she had been crying because my dad had passed away unexpectedly just a few weeks before. Without a word, K-L sat her down and gave her a makeover, free of charge. She looked gorgeous, and I could tell it lifted her mood and made her feel festive. It was the sweetest gesture and really meant a lot. K-L and her team are incredibly professional, have impeccable taste, and are able to pull off a really wide range of styles - traditional bridal up-dos as well as more hip/edgy styling. I felt amazing on my wedding day, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had never had my make up done professionally before, so was quite nervous in how it would go, also getting ready in a hotel room on my own with a complete stranger, would this be an awkward situation?? Well, not in the slightest!! From the minute she walked in the door we clicked and the conversation flowed! We discussed what look I was after and she checked out what kind of make up I normally used. She sets up her kit and starts with the hair, which I loved, and then onto make up. She uses the air brush foundation, which lasted all day!! The eye make up was heavier than I would normally wear, but was needed in the photographs, so don't panic if you think it's too much!! Overall, I loved my time with Kerry-Lou, she makes you so at ease, and did a fantastic job on my hair and make up. I had hired Sascha Reinking as my photographer, who she has done shoots with before, so I would like to add that they worked together fantastically and had a great working relationship!! I’m not the greatest with hair and make-up (I don’t do a whole on a daily basis) and didn’t know quite what I wanted but Kerry-Lou created an up do that made me look amazing! Kerry-Lou is fun to talk to, easy to get along with, and has a very calming presence—exactly the type of person you would want with you for several hours on your wedding day. After the first trial it was an easy decision to book her for my wedding day. I went back for a second trial to play around with the make-up and to test out the longevity of the hairdo (the second trial was equally as fun as the first and I was very happy with the minor changes we made). On the morning of the wedding we had 6 people (in addition to myself) needing hair/makeup. Kerry-Lou came with a second hair stylist, a second make-up artist (her daughter) and an assistant. They were prompt, set up, and ready to go on time. The rest of her team was AMAZING and made my bridal party and my mother look absolutely stunning. Kerry-Lou wowed me again making me the most beautiful bride I could have possibly imagined. My entire party was so happy with their looks and the professionalism of the hair/make-up team. My make-up and hair lasted all day with no problems! I can’t begin to express how happy I was to have Kerry-Lou with me on my wedding day. She made the entire process easy and stress free. I was very nervous about hair/make-up (before meeting Kerry-Lou) but she did an amazing job at bringing out my natural beauty. My makeup was natural, but beautiful, and when my then fiancé saw me, his reaction was "wow, you look beautiful! I'm such a lucky man!" (which is exactly what you want to hear as a bride!) My makeup and hair lasted through the ceremony, a 2 hour photo session in Central Park, and dinner, without any problems! She was super sweet and also helped my mom (who had recently got the Keratin treatment and was having problems achieving volume at the roots), by styling her hair. I certainly recommend Kerry-Lou and her team without a doubt!
