I called her and she was so sweet and thoughtful of my situation I immediately booked my Make up and hair trial. At my make up trial I met Sophia and her assistant Jeanette. They Were AMAZING and did a great job with both my hair and makeup😍😍. Sophia even took the time to make two different eye looks on me so I had choices. nvisioned the look to be and working with natural features to make a very done up but still natural face. Also, be open to try a little something different, Sophia’s recommendation which differed slightly from what I thought would work really made all the difference. I left not having a detail missed in my hope for the wedding look. The hair was amazing. So elegant and intricate. I was expecting great but the final look was a few levels above and WOW. (Wish the Knot allowed photo uploads.) Sophia and Jeanette communicate well and it was like all three of us worked together throughout the process to get the finished look. Absolutely pleased I found her and looking forward to rocking this hair and makeup look on the big day. As for Covid safety, they wore masks, face shields, safety limiting people around; I was comfortable knowing they take our health and safety seriously and talk to me about their sanitization between clients. Would not hesitate to recommend these ladies to do makeup again in the future. Just superb quality work.

nd she did a phenomenal job. She was very detail oriented and left me feeling like a million bucks. She did a great job at offering a little guidance especially to my mom and mother-in-law who typically don’t wear much makeup and had no idea what they wanted. The both of them turned out looking amazing. It was even great that my makeup lasted through a little bit of sweat that came after running around. I also had a nice pimple right in the middle of my nose (of course one would pop up on my wedding week) and she covered it up so well. Overall I would highly recommend her to other brides. In addition to being a great hair and makeup artist, she was hilarious and my whole family loved just hanging out and chatting with her.

ial! I had a few makeup trials before coming to Sophia, and although I respect the work of the others, Sophia is a true artist and professional. She took the time to really listen to my vision and stayed true to it while making suggestions and offering advice and her professional insight when I asked. She was beyond helpful and made the process exciting rather than stressful or daunting. She helped create a beautiful hairstyle that was flattering and all the things I wanted but was unable to express. I have the gorgeous hairpiece/headband my dad bought me for the wedding that I wanted to wear on my special day, but wearing it as a headband just did not match how I wanted to look on the day. She created a beautiful hairstyle around it that exceeded all my expectations. I felt so beautiful. As for makeup, it was everything I wanted and more. I am a natural redhead but my skins has both pink and yellow undertones and every time I go to get my makeup done, I am left feeling like I look very washed out. Sophia did a beautiful job correcting my redness and dark circles and making my skin look flawless without being cakey. She did all the things I wanted, a light contour, beautiful highlight, a smokey eye with full volume dramatic lashes. When I got to see the final look with hair and makeup, I felt so beautiful. Exactly how I wanted to feel, which is why booking Sophia was a no brainer. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. She has the most lovely personality and we laughed and bonded, I felt like I made a new friend by the end of our trial. I could not be more thrilled to have this wonderful artist and individual do hair and makeup for me and my bridal party this month. I feel so blessed to have some in contact with her and have found someone who's work I have complete faith in. It makes me feel stress free going into the big day. She has been very quick to reply to my texts/emails and has continued to be just as communicative and transparent both before and after the trial- answering any and all questions I have had. I wanted a 60’s makeup-look with big hair and bouffant and she delivered. My winged eye liner was on point! I don’t normally wear heavy makeup and neither do my girlfriends, and Sophia made sure to go light on the foundation as I asked. I also loved the way she accentuated everyone’s features. My bridesmaid really loved their makeup and she made my mom feel beautiful. The whole contract and payment process was simple and Sophia was always responsive with whatever questions I had. Sophia was already working with another bride the same morning but timing wise was able to fit me and MoH after as our ceremony had a later start time. Sophia has a great energy and it's almost like the bride's hype man for the big day. I wanted a very clean fresh look for my wedding, and I felt confident based on the pictures of the other brides she had worked on. She's extremely responsive, and it was very helpful/appreciated her responding to photos I sent and her responding with photo recommendations of looks she recommended and past work she had done. She's very meticulous about the overall look and recommended a modification to the hairstyle that I was going for based on the weather (it was foggy/windy/and we were by the beach so potentially misty) - so we secured my hair so it would not fly away!
