yond unacceptable. I booked and paid my deposit back in May for my August event. I even paid a significant amount upfront because I wanted everything taken care of ahead of time and specifically did not want to deal with expenses the day of my event. My hair, makeup, and travel fee totaled over $400. The night before my appointment, around 8PM, I messaged Veronica to confirm everything since she never cared to contact me. She then told me that she thought I had not confirmed and that she could no longer travel to me, despite the fact that I had booked and paid for this months in advance. I was told I would have to travel over an hour to her location instead. I arrived at the salon at 8:40 AM for my 9 AM appointment waiting for it to be 855 to enter or walk to the salon, and 5-7 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I received a DMmessage saying she was extremely sick and that her back was hurting. She said she would send me to another location about six minutes away to have someone else do my makeup. At this point, I was extremely frustrated because my event started at 2 PM, but I had no backup plan and was already there WITH MY DEPOSIT PAID, so I went along with it. I was also assured that Veronica would still do my hair at 10 AM after my makeup was finished. The makeup artist who took me in was kind enough to accommodate me on such short notice, but the makeup was extremely rushed. I was already stressed and uncomfortable because everything had completely changed at the last minute.  FYI THEY PHOTOSHOP ALL OF THEIR PHOTOS, my makeup did not come out professionally at all.  I do my own makeup very well but because I wanted a new look and experience for my event I wanted something different.  Then, once my makeup was finished around 10 AM, I was told to go back to the original location for my hair again inconvenience because Veronica was to come to me. I arrived and was then left waiting for over another 2 hours, ultimately not having Veronica do my hair at all.  I had to continue contact her to ask her when she was coming at this point it was already past 11am.  She said she will meet me at 10.  I completely understand being sick and I would never fault someone for genuinely being unwell. However, what made this experience even more upsetting was overhearing friends of hers saying that she was hungover and tired from being out the night before. Whether or not that was the case, the entire situation felt extremely unprofessional. Instead of doing my hair herself, she had friends help with my hair. While I appreciate that they tried to help me, they were clearly inexperienced, and this was my special event day. I paid for a professional service months in advance and should have received the service I booked. What makes this even more frustrating is that I paid full price, received only a portion of the services I originally booked, had my appointment completely rearranged at the last minute, was forced to travel over an hour when travel was originally included, waited hours, and received no discount or meaningful compensation whatsoever for the inconvenience.  She didnt even care to accommodate me for absolutely anything.  My event started at 2 PM, and this entire situation caused me an enormous amount of unnecessary stress on a day that was supposed to be special and enjoyable. I am extremely understanding and patient, but there is a huge difference between having an unavoidable emergency and the way this situation was handled. Communication, professionalism, and respect for your clients’ time are extremely important especially when someone books and pays months in advance. I have never experienced anything like this with a makeup or hair artist before, which is why I am finally leaving a review after saying this to friends and family they mentioned for me to leave a review!  I would not recommend booking with Veronica aka on ig mua_veronicaaa. I would give this experience zero stars if that were an option. Please think twice before booking, especially for an important event where you cannot afford last-minute changes or unreliable service.  Lastly adding I wanted soft curls this girl did what she wanted and put so much hairspray in my hair that it was hard as a rock!! She even sprayed my entire body I had to reshower of how sticky I was.  Super uncomfortable everything with this chick.  I genuinely hope no other client has to experience the stress and disappointment that I experienced on such an important day but her reviews speaks for itself.  She has alllllllll bad reviews on here.  TAKE HER OUT OF THE MUA BUSINESS HORRIBLE!!!! 

ding day, she created a stunning bridal look that exceeded my expectations. My hair and makeup lasted throughout the day and night, and I received countless compliments. Highly recommend!
