Owner Jen started her makeup artistry journey eight years ago as a Counter Manager at the Lancôme counter at Belk. After extensive training and years perfecting her craft, she went on to specialize in beauty services for weddings and special events. Throughout her career, she has worked with over 125 soon-to-be-weds, specializing in natural glam styles. Jen loves building new connections with couples and works closely with each client to ensure they look and feel their very best on the big day.
While based in Goldsboro, Makeup and More by Jen is happy to travel to venues throughout North Carolina. Simple to full-glam looks, airbrush foundation, and formal updos and hairstyles are some of the many services that Jen offers. She will be happy to begin with a hair and makeup trial to ensure that each detail matches your day-of vision.

Jen was extremely responsive, beyond polite, and probably the calmest person on my wedding day - even with a meltdown where she stepped in and offered to save my wedding (not hair/makeup-related) when she totally didn't have to! She listened to my wants and wishes, worked with me on desired outcomes based on her expertise, and explained every product she was using and why. Not only is her professionalism amazing, her prices were incredibly reasonable. She also works along with other artists in the area to be a true supporter of everyone's business instead of monopolizing the profits for herself.
I wish I lived closer to Jen because I would use her ANY TIME I needed professional makeup or hair done. Not only is Jen a true gem of an artist and business owner but an all around great human being. When you want a personalized approach and a service completely dedicated to making you and your party beautiful, Jen should be your first choice!
