I have seen Anita's work at 2 weddings this year. Both of them amazing! She is a fabulous makeup artist with a flare for enhancing natual beauty. And she works wonders with an airbrush machine too! She is calm, professional, and top-notch.

I recently attended a wedding of a bride who normally doesn't wear make-up, however, for her wedding she wanted to do something special. But she didn't want to look over done. OMG! Anita completely captured the Bride's beauty. The Bride looked natural in her make-up, comfortable, and absolutely radiant. I say YES! Yes to Makeup Artistry by Anita and I wouldn't let anyone else do MY make-up.

Words cant explain how amazing Anita made me look for my wedding. She made me look beautiful as a bride should look, and the airbrush makeup made me look absolutely flawless. I am a person that doesn't like a lot of makeup. She was very pleasant to work with, she listened to what I wanted and gave me what I was looking for but even better. You will not go wrong by having her as your artist. Thank you Anita for making me feel so beautiful.

I loved my experience with Anita! She was professional, punctional, knowledgable, and attentive. I felt she listened and captured my vision for my wedding day. We had a trail run that lasted about two hours; I showed her pictures of looks I liked, explained my wedding theme, and I stated what has worked for me in the past. She listened, asked quesitons and executed the look I wanted. I felt like a queen and I loved all of the attention she was giving me. The day of the wedding Anita was punctual and did not appear distracted by all of the things going on around us, i.e. photographer taking pictures, people coming in and out of the room, or people talking to me. She stayed with me until I got in to the limo and drove away. When my husband saw me at the church he stated I looked beautiful and the guest were frequently telling me how pretty I looked. Anita helped make my day feel special!

Positives 1)Extremely pleasant person 2)Great with the airbrush! 3)Timely responses with communication 4)Was pleasant to have there on the wedding day I am sorry to say that she was not the perfect fit for me because: 1) The make-up trial took too long- 3 hours, only 1 look, but part of the reason it took so long was b/c she did lots of talking, including salesmanship about how she's really busy and gets booked up early. So, she might have been trying to bond, but given my limited time, it kinda sucked. 2)Being too confident about what she thought would look good, rather than letting me have more say on how the make-up looked. Since the trial took so long, I didn't have time to try a different look, but on the wedding day, I told her the changes I wanted. She insisted I try pink eye shadow even tho I know pink eye shadow looks bad on me. When I said I didn't like it, she immediately took it off, but not great since the airbrush was already on. Then she put on eyeliner w/o me noticing- she's great at it, but I had said no eyeliner and she did it anyway thinking I would change my mind after I saw it on-- can't take that off. Same issue with lipstick- but I didn't want to argue about everything, so I ok'ed the color she picked which ended up looking lame in the pictures. I talked to another bride who used a different make-up person and had the same issues, so not sure if this is just how make-up artists are. Anyway, I think if a bride knows this ahead of time, the bride can manage it and have a better outcome with any make-up artist. Also, bought the touch-up make-up (for 3 people) and none of us have ever used it.

I didn't look for a makeup artist until a few weeks before the wedding. Fortunately, Anita was available and did airbrush. She did my entire bridal party at a reasonable price.

Like any bride, make-up was a huge deal when making all my necessary wedding day plans. Outside of making sure the artist would 1-actually show up (yes, I have a friend this has happened to) and 2-arrive on time, my two biggest factors in selecting my artist was that she listen to the look that I wanted and apply the make-up so it would last at the very least, a good portion of the day. Prior to meeting Anita, I had met with a couple other artists who didn't leave me with the "wow" factor. They didn't hear what I was looking for and did what they thought was best...which was exactly what I didn't want. At our trial meeting I went over everything I did and did not want. Unlike the others, she gave me to look as I wanted it to be. Come the day of the wedding, Anita arrived on time and despite the early hour (6am), was a trooper! My mother was thrilled with her look (she was reluctant initially because no one ever does her make-up to her standards...till Anita that is). All the bridesmaids (I had 7) looked fabulous --- with all very different looks! As for myself, my make-up was amazing! The air brush foundation gave me that Hollywood glam/glow --- not to mention stayed on the entire day throughout the evening. I would absolutely reccommend Make-Up By Anita for your big day! I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Anita made me feel calm and beautiful before the wedding. She did an amazing job on my makeup. My photos came out great.
