Denise Gevaras, owner of Makeup Artistry by Denise, specializes in expert wedding makeup application and is based out of Toms River, NJ. She's a licensed professional who has been making brides beautiful for over 18 years with an outstanding reputation throughout the tri-state area. For your convenience, Denise offers on-site makeup services throughout New Jersey.
In addition to providing her services for hundreds of brides throughout NJ, she was formerly the lead makeup artist for a local TV studio, has provided countless makeup services for corporate and promotional media, and was one of the chosen makeup artists for the 2018 Miss America Preliminary Pageants. She has years of specialized training in makeup for photography and makeup for the "camera". Above all, she is honored to be a part of your most special day!

The wedding was July 7 ( so I was very worried about the heat and sweating). The ceremony was at 2pm and my reception was 5:30pm so I was even more worried about the makeup lasting, but little did I know I had nothing to worry about because it lasted the WHOLE day! I hired Denise for makeup and obviously a separate individual for hair, so I wasn't sure if they'd finish around the same time in order to stick to the picture schedule and the overall schedule for the day. She worked so well with the hair dresser (they each spent 30-45 min on the bridesmaids and kept everything moving). Everything ran smoothly and according to schedule!
