Miranda was everything I could have wanted in a make-up artist for my wedding day. She really listened to what each and every member of my wedding party wanted and made them look t...
heir best. My bridesmaids were glowing, they looked gorgeous! One of them even said she looked better at my wedding than her own! I asked for some changes based on my trial and Miranda totally understood what I wanted and my make-up was perfect the day of. Not only is she wonderfully talented she was a pleasure to work with. Getting ready takes a long time when you have a bunch of girls but Miranda made it comfortable and enjoyable! She was super nice and very accommodating. If you get the chance to work with her, DO IT!
Miranda is a true talent and beyond joy to work with! She intuitively knows how to accentuate each person's unique features, and truly made me and my wedding party feel like the ab...
solute best versions of ourselves. Beyond being super talented at makeup, she's a great listener and SO PATIENT. I felt how much she cared that we were all happy. She has such a nice way about her and made the day so fun and effortless. She's an 11 on a 1-10 scale. :)
I cannot say enough good things about Miranda! I met Miranda when I decided to try something completely out of character for me and do a bridal themed boudoir photo session to give...
my husband as a wedding gift. At the same time I was doing trials with other make-up artists for my big day. Miranda styled me for my photo shoot since she works with the photographer and I was struck not only by her talent (I LOOKED SO AMAZING!) but also her personality. She made me feel so at ease before the boudoir shoot. I decided to book her for my wedding and looking back on the photos I couldn't be happier with that choice. On my wedding day, I looked like the best version of myself instead of a different person entirely, which I felt like after some of the other trials. This is important because on the day you say "I do" to your partner, you want to look and feel like the person he or she fell in love with! Also, on the day of your wedding, your styling team will be one of the first, if not the first, vendor you will deal with. Miranda's warm and upbeat personality made the start to the day so much fun! She also had no problem driving all the way out to east end of Long Island at the crack of dawn. She did my entire bridal party and they all loved their makeup! Thank you so much!! xoxo
I have worked with Miranda Richards as a professional photographer for almost five years -- she has styled all of my clients, including boudoir, bridal, professional models, and ev...
en a few celebrity clients.
Miranda is by far the best makeup artist I have ever worked with, and I made the decision long ago to make her the exclusive makeup artist at my studio -- YES she is that talented.
A large majority of my clients are so impressed by the work she does in my studio, they continuously hire hr for their weddings and private events. On a few occasions, they have even switched makeup artists leading up to the wedding because she is simply superior.
Miranda is extremely in demand for her ability to make skin look greater than they've ever seen. What's most important is that she understands photographic makeup -- A HUGE differentiating factor when you consider you will be in front of a camera all day. NOT ALL MAKEUP ARTISTS HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE. Miranda styles over a hundred beauty and boudoir sessions a year, which makes her uniquely qualified to style brides.
There are simply not enough wonderful things I can express to you about Miranda. She is professional, thoughtful, emotionally intelligent and generous with her time and gifts. Again and again my clients have told me that the most differentiating factor about Miranda vs. other stylists is hr ability to put people at ease. This is one of the best gifts you could give yourself on your wedding day, if you are lucky enough to secure her.
PS - Clients that book Miranda receive gift certificates to our Red Bank boudoir studio, where Miranda has an in house salon. You will love it here at the loft!
I cannot say enough great things about Miranda and her team! She is an absolute pro, and so talented! She made every girl in my wedding party feel special and look AMAZING! Our mak...
eup stayed flawless throughout the entire day. Thank you again for making my wedding day perfect!
Miranda and I first met on the set of a photo shoot about two years ago, where she was the hair and makeup artist. She was fantastic! I can't remember exactly how many looks she ga...
ve me that day, but I can tell you that I went from a proper-looking lady to a wild maned maniac in no time!
Miranda also has exceptional technique for cleanliness. She maintains the integrity of all her brushes, makeup, products, and equipment. Obviously very important, but I can tell you from experience, not everyone is as concerned or careful about this.
She has also been the stylist for me in bridal and boudoir shoots, with another phenomenal artist, Cate Scaglione as the photographer.
What a team!! If you should have the opportunity to work with Miranda or Cate, I assure that you will be at complete ease, and thrilled beyond expectation!
March, 2015 I had my first boudoir photo session with Cate the owner of "Life as Fine Art."
Miranda Rochards did my makeup for the photo session. It was the first time I met her....
I was so impressed with how beautifully natural yet bold she did my makeup. Years ago I had my makeup done for my wedding thru a women who was very highly recommended and she made me look older and just plain terrible! The pictures Miranda took for the photo shoot I couldn't believe how beautiful the pictures came out. Her makeup stayed on for hours!
I was impressed with Miranda's professional demeanor, how personable she is and how much at ease she made me feel.
With my personal experience and the photos I've seen of her work for boudoir, proms, brides and bridesmaid I would recommend her in an instant!
I am looking forward to my next session with Miranda in the future!

Having been styled by dozens of makeup artists over the years, I can be a little picky when it comes to the services of a makeup artist. Miranda blew me away on every front. She's ...
incredibly reliable, flexible, fun to work with and wildly talented! Her creative vision sets her apart and she is also punctual, a tireless worker and very committed to proper sanitation. My hair and makeup were flawless both times she styled me... even when we had to start at 4:30am on one busy morning! I enthusiastically refer Miranda to my family and friends and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
I had the pleasure of working with Miranda on a special underwater project I was photographing in Califonia this past November.
She went past my expectations. The look stayed the...
entire day underwater and her styling was right on target with my vision.
I would highly recommended her to everyone.
