Some of the other wedding vendors I booked I wasn't 100% sure what I was agreeing to but Amy hits all the important points in the phone call and details are provided in the contract. The trial she scheduled for my make up was incredibly helpful. I don't wear make up often and also not super knowledgable with application or different looks but Amy spent a good amount of time explaining different options. When my trial was completed she took pictures of the finished product and had me wear my make up the rest of the day and email her with what I liked/things I wanted to change which was great! On the day of my wedding I was incredibly overwhelmed with everything going on but her organization, flexibility and conversation in the chair eased my nerves. My bridesmaids and I agreed that it was the best wedding make up ever!

Amy listened to all of my concerns, and made sure that I was happy every step of the way, and took my ideas, and ran with them, I told her about my normal make-up routine, and she glammed it up. She even helped me coordinate my trial on a day I had off work, as I live 3 hours away.
Naturally I had concerns about make-up lasting as a 2020 bride, and knowing I would at least have to wear a mask into and out of the hotel, so after my trial she asked me to put a mask on and take it off a couple of times through out the day, and keep her updated, so that she would know how it held up.

With that being said, I felt that out of all the make-up vendors I considered Amy Lewis & co.'s prices definitely exceed most. I was happy with the product but the add-ons for things like lashes seemed a little much to me. I was pleased that they had a assistant to Helen because we had 10 people getting makeup done, but I felt that her skills didn't quite add up to Helen's. Helen had to adjust some makeup because the girls who got their makeup done by the assistant felt like they looked a little greasy. Overall I was very pleased as a bride on the day of. Helen definitely deserves 5 stars!
