I could not have been happier with my own hair and makeup. They made me feel so beautiful and confident on my wedding day while still making me feel like myself. The whole experience was exactly what you want on your wedding morning.
I highly recommend Norma, Esme, and the Makeup By Ana B team to any bride. We are so thankful they were part of our day!
Stefani did a great job on my wedding day hair! I loved my wedding hair, and she did a great job on my bridesmaids' hair as well. She worked quickly and was extremely professional....
I did a trial with Stefani and would recommend all brides doing a trial - it took any uncertainty out of the getting ready process on the day of. I would definitely recommend Stefani and Makeup by Ana B.
I cannot recommend MAB Artistry enough! From the very first email, their communication was top-notch — swift, detailed, and so reassuring. They had their own organized timeline for...
updates, which kept me stress-free and confident throughout the process.
When I visited their gorgeous studio for my trial, Tanya (makeup), Stefani (hair), and Lucy (MUA) were incredibly communicative, making sure I got a look that suited my personal style and needs. They listened to my vision, gave helpful suggestions, and adapted everything perfectly.
On my wedding day, they arrived on time, brought such a calm and friendly energy, and made everyone — from bridesmaids to flower girls — feel comfortable and beautiful. I was so impressed by their ability to adapt to different ages, skin tones, hair types, and personal preferences. They even took the time to do touch-ups before we left, and you can truly tell they care about the quality of their work.
Best of all, everyone’s hair and makeup lasted flawlessly all day (and night!) — even through happy tears, dancing, and August heat. I felt so beautiful and confident walking down the aisle, and my bridal party could not stop raving about how good they felt. Tanya, Stefani, and Lucy are true professionals and artists. If you want a team who is organized, communicative, talented, and makes you feel like your best self, MAB Artistry is the one.

Seriously professionals. Lucy and Esme did an amazing job at my trial and on wedding day. They were very organized and made us feel so beautiful. Highly recommend!
Makeup by Ana B is the best in the business! The team was timely, professional, and a joy to work with. Jessica and Lexi were incredible—I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, and ...
my hair and makeup lasted perfectly through dancing and happy tears. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning and loved their hair and makeup too. Jessica, Lexi, and the entire team were calming, kind, and unbelievably talented. I can’t recommend them enough!
I cannot recommend Makeup by Ana B highly enough! From the trial to the wedding day, they were incredibly professional, warm, and so talented.
On the big day, they arrived early,...
stayed perfectly on schedule, and made the entire experience relaxing and fun—not just for my daughter, but for my whole bridal party. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous and felt confident all night long. The hair and makeup lasted through happy tears, dancing, and hours of celebration without needing a single touch-up!
What stood out most was how calming and kind the artists were - exactly the energy you want around you the morning of your wedding. Their talent is undeniable, but it’s their care and professionalism that truly make them a dream to work with. Special shout out to Lexi (@lexinicoletteglam) and Shirley (@sbellabeauty_artistry) who were the lead hair and make-up artists and did an amazing job!
Thank you for making my daughter and our family feel so beautiful on one of the most important days of our lives.
I would HIGHLY recommend working with the MAB team for your big day. We used Shirley for makeup and Uzma for hair - they were incredibly attentive, talented, and gave great advice....
I really enjoyed getting to know them better during my hair & makeup trial a few months before the wedding. They exceeded our expectations, making me, my wedding party/mother/MIL look like enhanced versions of ourselves and used high-quality/long lasting products. We cannot thank them enough for all their time and effort!
No doubt, Make Up by Ana B is the team for the DMV. I had Uzma and Luciana for hair and make up and I can't recommend them more. I was combing through beauty websites and instagram...
s trying to select a team, what made me pick Make Up by Ana B is their wide range of abilities and their experience; I knew they could create any look. Each of my bridesmaids wanted a different vibe and they nailed every one! From glam to soft glam to natural, we had it all requested and they slayed. They also are so incredibly fun- professional hype women, the women you want there on your wedding morning. I can't recommend them enough!
I used Lexi, Shirley, and Maria for hair and makeup on my wedding day, and could not have been happier with all of them! All of my bridesmaids and moms loved their hair and makeup...
- everyone looked like their best selves, and they helped to create such a fun and relaxing wedding morning while we were all getting ready! My half-up hair style lasted all night, even with humidity/rain outside, and my makeup stayed even with many many happy tears! They were the perfect team.
Alina, Marina, and Stefani were absolutely incredible! They did hair and makeup for me, my bridal party, and the mothers of the bride and groom. Everyone was SO happy with how they...
looked — I truly couldn’t have felt more beautiful on my wedding day.
I’m someone who knows exactly what I like and, to be honest, I’ve never really loved makeup done by someone else. But Alina was AMAZING. From the trial to the big day, she completely understood my vision, made me feel heard, and somehow read my mind to create a look that felt perfectly me (a very hard task).
Marina made magic happen with my hair - giving me a beautiful updo that stayed all night long - everything turned out so perfect. And Stefani worked her magic on my bridesmaids and the results were flawless across the board. The whole team was professional, calming, and just lovely to be around.
If you want to feel confident, radiant, and truly yourself on your wedding day, look no further — these ladies are the best of the best.

e so good at hair and makeup but it felt like I was hanging out with a friend because she’s so personable!! For my wedding, I had the honors of having Norma for my hair and Shirley for my makeup. O M G I have literally never felt so beautiful in my life. I wish I could look like I did on my wedding day, everyday, that’s how good they are! I had my trials and they were amazing, but the wedding day was somehow even better!! They literally gave me exactly what I wanted and were so amazing to work with. My Mom’s and bridesmaids were so impressed too! Everyone was beyond happy with how their hair and makeup turned out with Shirley and Norma!! If you are contemplating booking with MAB, it’s a must for your wedding. I’m so thankful to have had the team I did!! Thank you so much for everything! 😊

got so many compliments on it. Mong and Esme made everything I wanted come to life. Everyone was also very timely and it helped our timeline run smoothly. Thank you MAB!!
I was so happy with how the hair and makeup turned out for me and my bridal party at my May 2024 wedding in Leesburg! MAB was a great choice for their experience, professionalism, ...
and ease of booking and communication through the whole process. All three artists from MAB -- Esme for hair, Nour for makeup, and Leslie for both -- were outstanding in their skill and attention to detail, consideration in listening to what each of my ladies asked for, and joy that they brought to the day! Esme and Nour were fantastic in taking on board how I wanted to make adjustments following my trial, and I couldn’t have felt more beautiful. My mom was nervous about getting her makeup professionally done and not having it look heavy or cakey after a bad previous experience, and I was so grateful to Nour for working with her to make her feel beautiful and like herself!

re for my wedding. Jasmine and I did 2 trials together that went really well, but I couldn't figure out what I wanted. They both absolutely NAILED it on the wedding day and my makeup and hair has never looked better. My bridesmaids and moms looked amazing and they were all raving all day about how amazing the services were. In addition, they were incredibly calm, reassuring voices on a day that can be really stressful. Thank you all again for the amazing work you did. It was an absolute pleasure!!

aff at MAB was the first to really listen to me and settle my concerns as a non-makeup wearing person. The service at MAB is also incredible! They were so patient with my questions and were quick to remedy an issues or concerns I had. I also love that their staff is dedicated to improving their craft and teaching others. I can't rave about them enough!

ement photos, trial, rehearsal dinner look, and two wedding looks, Lexi and Tanya killed it! I was so happy with my hair and makeup! And my girls, mom, MIL and grandmas were also happy! They kept us on schedule and even helped my brother at the venue by giving him Chapstick. I flipped my hair prior to my ceremony and Lexi worked so quickly to ensure I didn’t miss time for photos or run late for the ceremony. And Tanya touched up my makeup and it stayed ALL night! Hire MAB, you won’t regret it!
Bianca, Esme, and Isabela did AMAZING jobs! The moms, bridesmaids, and I all got our hair and make up done, and everybody LOVED how they looked. None of us were used to professiona...
l hair and makeup, and we all preferred more natural looks. The team delivered!! We all felt so confident, and the team really worked hard to ensure we looked and felt our best. The process was so fun, and Esme even stayed later to ensure my hairstyle stayed up throughout the entire night (it did!). It was 95 degrees, and a lot of us sweat and cried throughout the night, and the makeup was still PERFECT by 11 PM! I was so impressed with their work, and I highly recommend Makeup by Ana B :)

mprove on after that day and delivered stunning looks for everyone. I really appreciated how patient they both were with people who wanted changes here and there. They didn't stop until everyone loved their looks. I got compliments on how good my makeup looked and how it wasn't overdone but still looked made up. My hair was exactly what I wanted - an elegant updo with flowers for a hot summer day! Thank you both! :)
I can't recommend MAB Artistry enough! I booked them for my wedding day (Amy - makeup and Mindy - hair) and engagement photoshoot (Esme - makeup). Each artist took a lot of time to...
talk with my about my vision, my likes/dislikes, and my inspiration photos. I was so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out for each occasion!! Not to mention, both lasted all day long (even a down hairstyle!). Amy provided me with a touch up kit with everything I could have possibly needed, which was so sweet! Mindy also left a touch up kit and took the time to show my mom and bridesmaids how to place and remove my veil! Their location is convenient and easy to access in Tyson's, which was a plus for my early morning engagement shoot & wedding day trial!
Jessica is phenomenal. I rarely wear makeup and was a little weary of using an artist for my wedding. She was a careful listener who executed my dream flawlessly.

I highly recommend Makeup by Ana B for an expert and stress-free experience.

nted! They really encouraged me to speak up if I wanted adjustments so I felt so comfortable with them and my hair and makeup turned out exactly how I wanted it to. They also did my bridesmaids hair and makeup. They really stuck to the schedule so we didn't run behind and - all of the girls were so happy with their looks. MAB was also really responsive throughout the whole process and flexible with any changes I had. Overall, MAB made things run so smoothly and I felt great on my wedding day!
MAB's hair and makeup artists are truly amazing, and it was so easy to work with the company to determine availability and go through the planning process, as they're extremely org...
anized and responsive.
The artists I worked with were Martha for my makeup and my family members' makeup, Uzma for my hair and my family members' hair, and Tanya for my friends' makeup - and all three were so kind and incredibly talented. I went into my trial with a general idea of what I wanted, and when I mentioned tweaks to Martha and Uzma for the day-of, they were very receptive and understood completely, turning the vision into reality.
MAB created a timeline for me and it made the day-of go SO smoothly - if anything, we finished ahead of time (which, having participated in several weddings, is rare!). It was also just such a joy having Martha, Uzma, and Tanya with us to get ready. They put everyone and ease and were just so fun to spend time with.
I can't emphasize enough how beautiful I felt and how perfectly my hair and makeup turned out - and it all lasted through a very warm September ceremony and LOTS of intense dancing. I highly recommend the team at MAB Artistry for event hair and makeup - especially Martha, Uzma, and Tanya!
So fantastic! I had already done a trial with another group that left me in tears - I felt like I wasn't being listened to, choices I made were belittled, and I felt out of place. ...
The Makeup By Ana B group made me feel empowered, listened to, and did an incredible job for me and for my wedding party. Love them!

tments, timeline, contract specificities, etc. I was able to flexibly schedule a hair and makeup trial at their beautiful studio, and they made sure to spend lots of time with me talking through what I wanted and then discussing my feedback. I was indecisive about how I wanted to do my hair, and they accommodated me to schedule multiple trials, even just a few weeks before my wedding. I had 11 women getting hair and makeup done for my wedding, and the team arrived early/on-time, worked through everyone efficiently, and made us all feel so relaxed and glamorous on wedding day. They preemptively scheduled in touch-up time in our day-of schedule. I got a ton of compliments on how beautiful everyone's hair and makeup were. These artists are truly the best of the best--so talented and such great judgment about how to make everyone's natural beauty shine through. Thank you, Biance, Esme, Norma, and Shirley!
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend MAB to future brides. I hired MAB for my engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. The makeup artist did not properly glue down the false ...
lashes for my engagement photos, so they stuck up in most of my engagement photos.
Additionally, an hour before my rehearsal dinner, MAB notified me that my original hairstylist was sick and would not be able to do my hair. Obviously this was outside MAB's control, but they promised another hairstylist was able to do the same hairstyle (Hollywood waves) and would be able to take her place. The new hairstylist showed up 1.5 hours late and could not do the same hairstyle. Our entire timeline was messed up, and I missed many exciting moments because I was either (i) waiting for MAB to arrive and/or finish my hair or (ii) trying to fix my hair. As you will see in the attached pictures, my hair looked nothing like my trial. The first picture shows my hair after 2 hours on my wedding day, and the second is 6 hours after my trial. My sister had to re-curl my hair before the ceremony, and I ultimately took my extensions out and pulled my hair into a bun because the new hairstylist did a poor job placing the extensions. MAB offered me a refund on my hair, but unfortunately, a refund cannot replace the moments I missed on my wedding day and my wedding photos.
I booked MAB for my November 2022 wedding, and I'm so glad I did. Short story: if you're thinking about it, go ahead and hire them.
Ana (makeup) and Ester (hair) did an incredible...
job. They did a trial for both me and my mom to make sure we were on the same page about what we wanted. They even stayed late to let me try one extra hairstyle. The day of the wedding, they showed up prepared and on time and did hair and makeup for a big party (10-ish people) and everyone looked absolutely stunning! My hair and makeup stayed in place all night, which is very impressive because I was dancing pretty much nonstop once the reception started. Highly recommend.

one's natural beauty! They came by our hotel suite to do everyone's hair and makeup, not only were they on time but they finished early!
I went before for a trial run and my hair stylist gave me a great tip for my rehearsal dinner by going to dry bar for a blow out, so my hair was clean and pre-styled for the wedding day! It helped my fine straight hair last all day for the wedding!
I loved working with Makeup by Ana B! I hired two stylists for my wedding day for five people (bride, two bridesmaids, mother of bride and mother of groom). MAB was very profession...

I absolutely loved my makeup in particular! All the bridesmaids were highly complimentary of the team. I would recommend them for hair and makeup!!

the hairstyle I wanted for the day of my wedding. ( My mom ended up getting the updo and it looked FAB on her.) MAB was awesome enough to let me do another trail and I did the Hollywood waves with extensions. It was perfect!! The day of the wedding was no exception. Tanya did my makeup and it was perfect as well. I had a lot of ladies in the bridal suite but they managed to get through everyone! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!
MAB was amazing to work with! I can't say enough great things about them. My entire wedding party looked absolutely beautiful on the day of our wedding. The best part was that they...
looked like themselves but just enhanced. For my bridal look, I showed them pictures of what I wanted and it couldn't have turned out better. They are truly the best!

ed my hair color, and executed everyone's hair perfectly on the big day. She provided instructions for how to prep our hair and answered all of our questions. MAB's admin team was also great to work with and confirmed all necessary details, including the day-of hair schedule for the bridal party. All of my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG had their hair done, and everyone looked great!
I had Hala for my make up, Lexi for my hair, and Esme was an extra hand helping out with Bridesmaids/mothers hair and make up. Honestly: they were incredible. They kept me at ease ...
throughout the whole process (shout out to Hala for letting me step away to eat some chick fil a nuggets before my lipstick was put on). They were careful listeners, and made everyone's (mine and my bridesmaids') visions come to life, even with minimal instruction. As a business, Makeup by Ana B has been SO kind and flexible through multiple COVID reschedules, and I could not be more grateful. They are all amazing!!
Mindy and Bianca were our dream team! Me and my bridesmaids don't wear a lot of make-up so we wanted a nice, natural look. Bianca definitely delivered and made sure that everyone's...
make-up was stunning. Mindy was a wizard with hair. One or two photos and she knew exactly what my bridesmaids wanted. My girls and I all felt flawless and happy with our looks and it really came through in the photos. Everyone looked stunning! In addition to the hair and make-up skills, Mindy and Bianca were both incredibly prompt, professional, and fun to work with. I can't recommend either of them enough.

Request Mindy and Hala for hair and makeup, respectively! Hala was so patient with me once I told her I don't usually wear much makeup. She didn't apply so much as to make me feel ...
uncomfortable but made me look glamorous and beautiful nonetheless. I especially appreciated her ability not to cover up my natural freckles, and her step-by-step explanation of each product to ensure I felt comfortable, asking all along if I liked the look.
Mindy is such a pro. I can't believe how FAST she is, yet all her hair styles come out perfect and gorgeous! From my elegant updo, to a bridesmaid's beachy waves, to another bridesmaid's fishtail braid, she nailed every request single handedly and still had time to spare.
Both ladies were super accommodating when I accidentally mixed up the order of the bridesmaids as well, going with the flow on the schedule.
I didn't realize before my wedding day how much of the big day you will spend with your hair and makeup artists so make sure you get the best! It will be so worth it.
I had Stefani (Hair) and Maria (Makeup) do all of my wedding day beauty on-site, as well as most of my bridal party’s and my mother’s. They both did a phenomenal job and their work...
lasted well into the night. I am extremely high-maintenance when it comes to both, and I’d tried out 4 other professional makeup artists (from other companies) before trying Maria – she did such a great job, and even put on false lashes in a way that didn’t both me (that has literally never happened to me before). Stefani was great at taking the feedback I’d given and running with it – she even figured out a way to pin a heavy antique broach into my hair, and it wasn’t even lose at the end of the night. It was also so easy to work with MAB because everything lived in a single contract, with a single point of contact, and they were extremely professional and responsive. Would highly recommend!
MAB Artistry was amazing! Cori, Bianca and Maria were all so wonderful to work with and did an incredible job. Everything was super organized and efficient, they were so friendly, ...
and everyone's hair and makeup lasted well and looked so beautiful throughout the wedding. MAB Artistry's business coordinator Monica was so incredibly helpful and on top of things! We really appreciated working with them and how flexible they were with all of the changes that covid brought. We worked with them for hair/makeup for our intimate ceremony in 2020 and planning to work with them again for our larger reception in 2021 :)

dvance of our appointments and was responsive to feedback. We changed things up for my hair after my trial and she did a great job with the new style. I received many compliments and felt that both my hair and makeup fit my natural style while also being 'amped' up enough for the wedding and photos. Uzma was also nice to chat to and provided a fun, reassuring presence on my wedding day.

ad no idea what I wanted to do (I'm super indecisive) and ended up doing two trials with her. She really worked with me to make sure we figured out a style that I was 100% happy with for my big day. I loved what we ended up doing and truly appreciated all of her help and knowledge! Stefani, Bianca, Anna F, and Jessica did the hair and makeup for 8 bridesmaids, a flower girl, mothers of the bride/groom, and stepmother of the bride. They were so organized in making a day of schedule ahead of time and really stuck to the timeline which helped make the morning super stress free. I would definitely recommend them for whatever your event may be, you'll look and feel flawless! I would definitely use them again!

ts to the perfect colors, style, and level of glam. I initially thought I would do my own makeup and hair for my big day, but I am so unbelievably glad that I chose to work with a true professional. My makeup and hair trial was amazing and made me feel so confident, which put me at complete ease for my wedding day. It is clear after working with Ana for even just a short time that she is truly a master artist. I also have to say that everyone I came into contact with at Makeup by Ana B was friendly, helpful, and very quick to respond. Given the chance, I would have Ana do my hair and makeup for literally every single occasion, and I cannot wait to work with her again!
