Candee is a complete professional! She was a very calming presence throughout a stressful time. Due to COVID we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times and Candee was accomodating and always stayed in contact. Regarding the makeup application, she listened to what I was looking for and exceeded expectations. My makeup lasted all day and it looked terrific. Thank you Candee for being a part of my journey!

Candee is amazing and a life saver after my original makeup artist canceled on me less then a month before my wedding. Everything from setting up a trial all the way to the actual wedding day couldn’t have gone any smoother. Candee is super talented, all of my girls and myself were obsessed with how our makeup turned out! I would recommend her to everyone!!

Unfortunately, Candee was too absorbed with talking about her own personal life to listen to what I wanted as a client. When I did ask her for something other than what she wanted to do, she became quite cross. Also, I was not at all happy with the basic looks she did on my bridesmaids, especially those with darker skin tones, which she claimed she had previous experience with.

Candee Caldwell is the best!! On the day of my wedding (June 18, 2021) she made me not only relaxed and comfortable while she put on my makeup, but she made me feel absolutely gorgeous!! Candee did the makeup for me, my bridal party, and my family for my October wedding. From the trial on, I felt so confident in my choice to have Candee at my wedding. I am not a big makeup wearer, and she listened to this, and only enhanced my natural look. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt and professional. Candee did the most amazing job on my makeup. I felt so beautiful. It looked natural, exactly as I wanted, lasted all evening and is perfect in photos. After the trials, she was open to feedback to achieve the look I wanted. Of particular importance was filling in/drawing on eyebrows over my barely there blonde brows - they never looked so good. Candee did my mom and sister’s makeup as well, and they looked absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Candee!

Candee did a virtual tutorial for me because I was in Utah and she was in Connecticut and it was during quarantine, so she couldn’t do it in person. She was fantastic and my makeup looked amazing on my wedding day with her help!!

I got married this past July and Candee was amazing during the unknown of Covid. I postponed my wedding until next August but decided to have small wedding this year. Candee was super helpful with doing my makeup this year and I can’t wait for her to do it again next year.

Candee did a fabulous job doing the girls make-up for my wedding. She listened to how we wanted to look - I wanted to keep it natural and have minimal make-up and that is exactly what she did. She allowed us to use her home and have our hair done there as well. It worked out perfectly! We were even able to bring food so no one went hungry. The girls convinced me to use false eye-lashes and once I got to the venue, I noticed they were falling off. Candee drove to the venue right away to glue them back on! Candee is a longtime family friend of mine. So of course, she was my first choice for wedding make-up! Candee does an excellent job of balancing being professional and friendly. She took all the stress out of my special day. We met for a trial months before the wedding to go over all my wants and expectations. Great job with the make up. Remembered most things from the make up trial but did have to amend some small details. Showed up earlier than the time discussed and rushed through the make up the day of the wedding because had scheduled another event without prior discussion with me. Was fine with the timing but was upset when she was a little cross with the bridesmaids about lip color because she was pressed for time. Loved the make up but was a little disappointed in her professionalism and courtesy to myself and my guests.

From the make-up trial to the day of the wedding Candee was professional, laid back and accommodating. My favorite thing that Candee says to you is a face is a face. This means that just because you are the bride it doesn't mean you are up-charged. You pay the same price for bridal make-up as your bridesmaids do which is something I really valued and appreciated. I wanted to treat my bridesmaids to their make-up and everyone looked so beautiful the day of. Looking back on all of the photos still makes me smile I was very happy with Candee's work and you will be too.

I first met Candee at a bridal show hosted by our venue, and she was also recommended by our photographer. Candee was easy to communicate with via email in the months leading up to the wedding. Candee did makeup for myself, bridesmaids, moms, and a couple other relatives. I always fear that I will look too made up with professional makeup, but Candee was able to highlight my best features while still keeping a pretty natural look. One of my guests even did an up-close inspection of my eyes because she wasn't sure if I had on false lashes or extensions! Candee provided the wedding makeup for myself, my mom, and my 4 bridesmaids. I met with Candee a few months before the wedding for a trial and she asked what I was looking for in my wedding makeup. I was hoping for a simple, natural, yet polished look, and Candee did exactly that! We even debated the pros and cons of false eyelashes and she tried a few styles so I could see how they would look and feel. Candee was patient with my questions and really listened to my thoughts. I absolutely loved loved loved my makeup. Candee did such an amazing job with me and my girls. At first, I was really unsure about getting makeup done for my wedding since I felt like most people who try to put makeup on me made me feel so ugly. But when I met Candee, she is just one of the sweetest lady I have ever met. After my trial, I already thought I looked pretty with the makeup she put on me. Candee did such a great job with my Mom and me on my Wedding day. My Mom rarely wears makeup so she was nervous about it being too much but Candee made her feel so comfortable. I had a trial since I never had my makeup done before and asked for a natural look. I realized after this that I wanted a few things changed (more bronzey and bolder eyes). I went back to Candee and she did another look which I absolutely LOVED!!!! For me I did not know what to ask for or what I wanted but by letting Candee play around and do what she does best really helped me get to the look I wanted. I asked her about airbrushing but she said that the makeup she does looks best in photography...I just got my photos back and let me tell you she was right. Candee is an extremely talented makeup artist! I do not usually wear makeup and had no idea what specific makeup I wanted. I got married in November 2015 and Candee did my makeup along with my mothers and two of my bridesmaids. I just got all of my pictures back and I am in loveeee in how she did my makeup! I loved how my makeup came out during my trial, and on the day of my wedding but I am blown away with how fabulous all of my girls and I look! Picture this! It’s your wedding day, you are so nervous, excited and stressed out. You show up to your hair and makeup appointment knowing just how it will go because of course you had a trial. You knew exactly what you wanted. Every detail of the day is planned out. You show up with breakfast for the entire bridal party and notice there is an unknown person set up ready to work. Who is this women? You look around and notice the girl that did your makeup is not there. Yup this is my fabulous story! I am the luckiest bride I had the best makeup artist ever! The Salon called in Candee Caldwell she was amazing. She was professional and friendly from the moment I walked in. Of course all makeup artist like to do trial however we didn’t have time for that. She spoke to me the entire morning while everyone was getting their hair and makeup done. She told me about herself and her life. By the time I sat in the chair for my makeup I felt like I was with a friend. I don’t wear a lot of makeup: maybe some mascara and eye liner. Candee knew exactly what to do to make my pictures pop and without taking me out of my comfort zone of not a lot of makeup. She made me look like a better me! The photographer loved my makeup and had no clue it was Candee’s work. When I told him Candee did my makeup he said “No wonder you look amazing”. She made me feel wonderful and beautiful. I was the luckiest bride to end up with the best makeup artist! Also I had been to a wedding recently where the bride had a lot of her makeup on her dress. Candee uses waterproof make up and it all stayed on my face. My dress is still bright white no makeup stains. I have very sensitive skin and I didn’t have any problems. Five Stars and I highly recommend her! I saw an amazing wedding photo with makeup credited by Candee Caldwell in early 2015. Everything about that photo shoot was amazing especially the women’s face in the picture. I immediately reached out to Candee and asked to have a consultation and she suggested a test run. Well I absolutely loved the test run and booked her for my April 2016 wedding. Candee also made me look like a rock star at my 80’s throw back bridal shower in March of 2016. When my wedding day came myself and two brides were beyond beautiful thanks to Candee. Everyone said how gorgeous we were and we still looked like ourselves but better. We all danced the night away and our makeup survived a 12-hour day and no one wanted to wash their face. For any future engagements that I have I would book her because she is amazing. Candee is professional, affordable, intelligent, easy to work with, extremely personable, listened and understood our vision. If you are getting married she is a must have! Kudos to Candee!

Look no further, Candee is the one you want doing your make up. Working with her was an absolute pleasure! Not only is she a talented make up artist with video, advertising and magazine credits, she is also an incredibly nice person. She welcomed me (and my mom) into her home for the trial and listened to what I wanted for the wedding. We had such a nice experience that my mom wanted Candee to do her make up as well. On the big day Candee arrived a few minutes before the arranged time. My bridesmaids and Mom all looked amazing. She even helped my mom cover up a bruise on her arm. I do not think there are enough words to describe how wonderful Candee was on the day of my wedding. Besides the fact my makeup was amazing, she went above and beyond to help me out when she knew I was behind schedule. Candee was absolutely excellent providing my wedding make-up. I highly recommend her for any bride. I wanted a very natural look for our wedding by the lake. Candee made me look like I was born flawless. She gave me a very natural look that made me feel like me and yet accentuated my good parts. She really listened to everything that I wanted and provided creative ideas and suggestions. Candee also provided the make-up for my bridesmaids and mom. She did a great job with each and every one. My bridesmaids had a variety of different styles, skin tones and ages (one was 11)-- Candee made each one look perfect. Everyone was so happy with the absolutely beautiful job she did. I cannot recommend her enough.

Candee was wonderful. I had her work her magic on 6 women and 3 young girls for our wedding. Being a second time around bride and she made me look lovely. And, for all of the other women, she took the time to ask what they were wearing and then matched the makeup accordingly. We have the pictures back and all of us couldn't be happier with the result. Candee is a sweetheart. She was cheery and on-time for my wedding day. Make sure to schedule a trial before your big day. Also make sure to give yourself ample time for the trial. I felt a bit rushed and wish I had been able to stay longer. The trial is free with a $50 deposit to hold the date of your wedding.

I was referred to Candee by my photographer and after meeting her at a bridal expo I knew she was everything I wanted in a make up artist. She is professional and listened to all of my concerns as well as ideas. She explained everything to me throughly and answered any questions I had, no matter how silly they seemed to be. Candee did my makeup for my engagement photo shoot and not only did my engagement pictures turn out beautiful but my makeup held up for the entire shoot, especially with it being a humid fall day.
