Carissa was so professional throughout the whole process. From the booking, the trial and the wedding day. She made the wedding party feel so special and beautiful. Her industry and product knowledge is incredible! A perfect fit for a makeup lover to a novice. I would highly recommend her services to anyone!
I didn't actually get to use Carissa for my wedding make-up due to me having to cancel. Throughout the booking process, questions I had later on, and then ending with me having to cancel, Carissa was quick to respond, helpful, and gracious. If you want someone you can count on, I'd highly recommend her.
Carissa did an amazing job with my makeup, as well as my bridesmaids and mom’s makeup! She is very talented and proved that through her work on different folks in my wedding party. She is very down to earth and easy to connect with as well which made the entire experience that much better. She is thorough and precise when it comes to planning and scheduling which makes the wedding day flow that much easier. Do yourselves a favor and book her, you will not be disappointed!

She was so funny, professional, and kind. The morning of my wedding was so much fun because of her! She made my girls and I look gorgeous. My makeup stayed ALL day. Even through the rain. We got so many compliments on how gorgeous we all looked.

Carissa was an absolute DREAM to work with. She knew exactly what questions to ask during the trial run to achieve my perfect look, and was friendly and funny, to boot. I got in my car after the trial and immediately took, like 40 selfies, I was really feeling myself lol She did makeup for multiple people in my wedding party, including my Mom, who's in her 70s and had never had her makeup done professionally before, so she was nervous about the outcome. Reader, my Mom has never looked better - Carissa knows how to put makeup on older women to enhance their natural beauty. She also uses high quality products, and even gave each person a little touch-up kit! Her assistant was also fantastic and kind! If you're in Central Illinois and need your makeup done for your wedding or another special event, BOOK CARISSA! She will take care of you.

I have always been so iffy about other people doing my makeup…so I went to Glam Guru for a trial run before my wedding. I fell INLOVE!! Literally the best service. She is SO TALENTED!!! Forever want her to do my makeup! 11/10 recommend!
