I cannot say enough amazing things about Carissa! She made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt on my wedding day. From our first conversation, she was so professi...
onal, communicative, and clearly passionate about her work.
After my makeup trial, I was speechless. Looking in the mirror, I felt like I had an Instagram filter on in real life—it was that flawless! On the wedding day, she absolutely nailed it again. My makeup photographed beautifully and lasted through July humidity, summer storms, and a full night of dancing.
Beyond her incredible skill, Carissa is such a fun, positive, and calming presence to have in the bridal suite. She brings the best energy and truly goes above and beyond for her brides. This girl comes prepared—not only did she provide thoughtful touch-up kits for me and my bridesmaids, but she also packed essentials like straws, safety pins, and all the little “just in case” items every bride should have. How thoughtful is that?
Carissa is hands down one of the best in the business. If you want her to do your wedding makeup, she needs to be one of the very first vendors you book—right after your venue! I’m endlessly grateful for her talent and care.

car after the trial and immediately took, like 40 selfies, I was really feeling myself lol She did makeup for multiple people in my wedding party, including my Mom, who's in her 70s and had never had her makeup done professionally before, so she was nervous about the outcome. Reader, my Mom has never looked better - Carissa knows how to put makeup on older women to enhance their natural beauty. She also uses high quality products, and even gave each person a little touch-up kit! Her assistant was also fantastic and kind! If you're in Central Illinois and need your makeup done for your wedding or another special event, BOOK CARISSA! She will take care of you.
