ed 18 months in advance backed out of the contract without warning, without a backup solution, 3 weeks before my wedding and the night before my trial. I was in town only for that trial, so it was very stressful to not only find an artist in that incredibly short window, but to then get a trial that same day. In comes Caroline. Despite technically being booked already on my wedding day, she worked with the other bride (also thank you other bride!!) to squeeze me and my 6 bridesmaids in. At that moment all you can do is take whatever service you can get, but I had no idea I just booked one of the best in the game. Caroline is extremely considerate, easy to talk to, and professional all in one. She made a trial day work on that same trip back to Chicago (1 day notice for her!) and immediately made me feel welcome. She gave me space to work out eyelashes, and was so easy going about any adjustments I made. On the day of the wedding, she came to the hotel and started setting up at 4:30am!! She was prompt, timely, and gave each of my bridesmaids flexibility if they had changes or questions, all while still technically on a time-crunch to get to another bride. You would never know she had anywhere else to go that day with how kind, outgoing, and at-ease she was. Now to the makeup, my goodness. I was worried at first when Caroline didn't offer airbrush since my original contract with Mercedes was with airbrush for me and all my girls. Nevertheless, she reassured me that with the highest quality foundations and applications that she does, my makeup will last. Boy did it. It was raining all day, I was sweating all night, and it lasted until the very end of that long 4:30am-2:00am day!! What I learned with the abrupt abandonment of the contract with Mercedes from Golden Bridal Design is how important professionalism is in this industry. Do not hesitate with Caroline. She is warm, accommodating, talented as hell, and professional to every extent. She was a friend and confidant to me during that stressful time and that means everything. And as far as the actual makeup, I have pictures to prove how perfect it was for me and my girls. THANK YOU CAROLINE!!!!!
