e my wedding, from Catrina and did a makeup trial with her and a hair trial with Alana. All of these experiences were wonderful!! I would highly, highly recommend doing your trials, it helps you and your artist get to know each other. I also went to the Egg Harbor Township for hair and makeup by Catrina for my rehearsal dinner. She had me feeling like the best of the best my wedding weekend! Then on the day of my wedding Catrina and Alana absolutely killed my look. Just like all brides, I wanted to feel my best on my wedding day. Cartina and Alana took my look to the next level!! Not only did I look great but so did my bridesmaids, moms and flower girls. Alana and Valentina did the hair and makeup for the bridal party. There was not one single complaint from the whole group. Everyone looked stunning!!! Not only did everyone look amazing but Catrina’s team was so kind and professional. They showed up to the venue on time, got set up and got right to work right away. They were friendly, kind and patient. Alana went above and beyond to stay a little late to help make sure my flower girls had their flower crowns pinned correctly. If you are looking for hair and makeup in South Jersey, this is the place to go!!

EW she would knock it out of the ballpark. And I wasn't wrong. On the day of her team came a half hour early and took care of 8 of us. My girls and I looked amazing. I asked for soft glam and Hollywood waves. And that is exactly what I got. I didn't recognize myself in the mirror. This Pisces could not ask for a better HMUA and will definitely recommend her to everybody and anyone.

ofile posted online. From the start communication was terrible (after the deposit was paid). I had to reach out multiple times before scheduling a pre-wedding call for timeline and prep. Once we finally had the call, Catrina told me there would be 5 artists, including herself as requested, and they would be there by 8am. Only 2 artists showed up (45 minutes late), with a 3rd artist showing up about an hour after. Catrina never showed, neither did the 2 other artists I was told would be there. Due to this whole disaster we arrived 30 minutes late making us late for pictures, one of my girls never even got her hair done that was scheduled. My friend had to redo my MIL's makeup because she didn't like it, one of my bridesmaids had to redo her hair because it fell before we even got to the ceremony. Half of my bridesmaids couldn't get what style they wanted because we just didn't have time. I wasn't a fan of my bridal makeup either but didn't have time to make changes because we were SO late because of their mess up. I never received an explanation, apology, or even acknowledgement apart from a Venmo hair refund. I was also told in our call that she would have the lip color used from her own line available for purchase on day of so I could have it on hand, that of course did not happen. This entire experience was beyond unprofessional. I was so looking forward to a stress-free, fun, getting ready wedding morning with my bridesmaids, and that is an experience I will forever be robbed of because of Makeup by Catrina.

Even with customers coming into the shop, she did not rush anyone out and ensured everyone was happy with their final look. thank u to whoever changed their wedding plans) and she got me right in for a trial. Since our first meeting she has been so kind, friendly, and passionate about what she does! I also went to her for a vegan spray tan a few days prior to my day which was a great experience and service. She went out of her way both in my trial and on my wedding day to make me feel like a bride. My wedding day look literally made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. Nicolette did my hair and she did a fantastic job as well, also she was so nice in putting up with me constantly changing things and being annoying lol thank you! Altogether we had 2 makeup artists and 2 hair stylists for my bridal party of 7, myself, and both moms; they were extremely efficient and got us all done right on time for pictures. Everyone looked awesome and I can't thank this team enough! Book them if you want to work with kind, fun vendors who will make you look and feel beautiful!!!

I highly appreciated this because I was extremely nervous! Like other reviewers comments, she can be difficult to reach. That said, this is a crazy year for weddings, and when we did converse she was always professional and it was obvious she knows her trade. At the end of the day, her (and in my case, her team’s) work was above and beyond expectations.

Catrina was so sweet and made sure my makeup was perfect and everything I wanted. I don't wear that much makeup on a daily basis and she made the process comfortable and was very understanding. She is very talented and I felt the makeup was beautiful. We did a very natural classic look and it looked good in the photographs and they also worked hard but very efficiently which I can appreciate ! We had 2 makeup and 2 hair people that day for a total of 8 bridemaids, myself, and my mom. They got everything done with some time to spare ! I was very impressed by this !!!! I highly recommend them and truly felt beautiful on my big day because of Catrina and Jasmine. Thanks for making me feel like a princess (: Also the pricing was fair and I was able to venmo in advance which was cool and one less thing to worry about on my big day!

roblem we had is that she had a fight with her hair girl 5 days before the wedding and instead of just figuring it out she felt it necessary to call my daughter and tell her about it. Definitely stress that should not have crossed our paths at this point in the game. Because of this problem which was her problem and not ours, there was not hair extensions provided for my daughter and her hair was awful. Catrinia did refund the price of the hair trial after 4 phone conversations and much dispute. But here point was to trash her hair girl instead of just sucking up and being contrite.

Catrina nailed it. I am so happy she did my makeup twice!! All of my bridesmaids makeup was so pretty as well! She is very professional but makes you feel very comfortable with whatever you want! Catrina also has hair girls available too which made things even easier and who doesn’t want easier on their wedding day? Me and my girls couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out!
