Charissa is hands down the best in the valley! She uses great product. She's well organized. She's knowledgeable about the makeup she's using. The makeup stays on for hours. I did not do a touch up all night! On top of great makeup, she's a great human! I will definitely be booking her for future events.

Charissa was absolutely amazing, I cannot say enough good things about her. Not only did she save my wedding day when my MUA cancelled on me last minute she did everything to make it work for my special day! She did a trial for me the day before my wedding. This is all in about a weeks notice. And she was swamped already with brides. She listened to everything I had to say and she hit the look I was wanting spot on. I did not have to change anything at all and she 100% listened and did an amazing job. I felt so beautiful and myself and the make up lasted all day! Charissa was such a pleasure to work with! She was easy to get ahold of, and she genuinely cares for her clients. I went into my bridal makeup trial was a horrible spray tan, and she offered to do a free trial spray tan on me because she cared so much to make me happy! I hired Charissa to do mine and my bridesmaids makeup for my wedding day and she was FABULOUS! We didn’t have a trial but she was able to give us all exactly what we wanted the day of. Her makeup looks so natural and she did such a great job making us all look our best for the day. Our makeup stayed on all throughout the night even through a little rain. I would definitely recommend her to any fellow brides. She was also so much fun to have in the bridal suite. It was like she was a part of our friend group. I can’t describe enough how great she was and I’m so glad she was able to be a part of my day!

I recently got married on June 25,2022, it was my first time getting my makeup done by a professional makeup artist and I can honestly say Charissa did an amazing job. Charissa and her colleague, Amanda, were absolutely wonderful to work with! They arrived at 6.30am and were ready to begin working on our wedding party of 10 by 7am! Charissa transformed all the ladies into goddesses!! When looking for a MUA, I was concerned about finding someone who knew how to skillfully apply makeup for dark skinned black women. It was clear that Charissa had a wealth of experience with dark-toned skin and was mindful of not overly drying out our skin. Charissa was incredible throughout the whole process! From booking and scheduling trials, she was quick to respond and easy to get a hold of. The first time I contact Charissa she immediately called me and explained how she worked and was very detailed. I definitely felt comfortable with her doing our make up for my wedding. We had a make up trial and there were a few things I didn’t care for in the trial but she made it up at the wedding. I loved my make up! Soft and neutral. Charissa and her team were amazing! I was nervous about doing my make up for my wedding because I don't wear make up on a daily basis and really wanted a natural look that represented me (so my husband would recognize who I was when I walked down the aisle 😉). Because of this, I did a trial with her and really liked it for my engagement photos but then realized I wanted less foundation and make up in general. On the wedding day, she was completely supportive of my opinion and in fact, on both occasions advocated that people should never be pressured into a style that they don't want which I really appreciate now more than ever because she honored my request on my wedding day and in part because of her and her team (also loved the hair stylist (Cerissa) who even helped restyle my mom's hair when she was worried about it), our wedding day was even better than I could have imagined. Charissa is a true professional. She was timely and responded quickly to my correspondence. I cannot say enough positive things about Charissa and my experience working with her and her team. From the planning to the actual day of the wedding, Charissa made sure my wedding party and I received the BEST service. I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup so I wanted a very subtle, natural, glowy makeup look which is what I liked about Charissa’s makeup style. Due to some personal scheduling conflicts Charissa was not able to do my makeup the day of the wedding, but instead of leaving me out to dry she took the time to work through these changes with me in advance and went out of her way to reassure me the MUA who could step in would be able to give me what I was looking for… and she did NOT disappoint (shoutout to @make.up.by.manda)!! Amanda got everything about my makeup right the first try, I did not have to ask her to change a thing! Besides the actual makeup services, Charissa handled every single thing about the wedding planning with such patience and kindness. There were quite a few adjustments that needed to be made over the course of my 2-year wedding planning (postponed from 2020 to 2021), and she was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Considering what a crazy year it has been for wedding vendors I do not take for granted the positive experience Charissa was able to provide for me. I would recommend Charissa and her team over and over again!

Charissa Sanchez was hired by my husband to do my hair and makeup for a surprise vowel renewal ceremony. My husband and charissa had it all planned out. She helped him tremendously regarding the idea of how I’d like my hair and makeup done for the ceremony and she helped put it into reality. It was so special. The only thing I was like extremely picky about was my makeup for my wedding. Being a makeup artist I struggled with the idea of doing my own and naturally went to 5-6 different artist for trials. When I found charissa it was such a breath of fresh air. She was so sweet, has amazing products and she’s knowledgeable! I was absolutely amazed with her flawless application and the durability of her makeup! The day of my wedding she very much felt like a calm in the storm, she even let my 3 year old who was having a hard time sit on my lap while she did my makeup. I must also add her timing was phenomenal! Under an hour for the natural glam look I had asked for and it really held up for my mid May Califorina wedding. I feel asleep with it on and my husband asked if I had woken up and did my makeup the day after our wedding because it still looked so fresh. I can’t say enough or thank Charissa enough for talent, skill & time! 1000% Recommend!
