On the wedding day, she was completely supportive of my opinion and in fact, on both occasions advocated that people should never be pressured into a style that they don't want which I really appreciate now more than ever because she honored my request on my wedding day and in part because of her and her team (also loved the hair stylist (Cerissa) who even helped restyle my mom's hair when she was worried about it), our wedding day was even better than I could have imagined. Due to some personal scheduling conflicts Charissa was not able to do my makeup the day of the wedding, but instead of leaving me out to dry she took the time to work through these changes with me in advance and went out of her way to reassure me the MUA who could step in would be able to give me what I was looking for… and she did NOT disappoint (shoutout to @make.up.by.manda)!! Amanda got everything about my makeup right the first try, I did not have to ask her to change a thing! Besides the actual makeup services, Charissa handled every single thing about the wedding planning with such patience and kindness. There were quite a few adjustments that needed to be made over the course of my 2-year wedding planning (postponed from 2020 to 2021), and she was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Considering what a crazy year it has been for wedding vendors I do not take for granted the positive experience Charissa was able to provide for me. I would recommend Charissa and her team over and over again!

The day of my wedding she very much felt like a calm in the storm, she even let my 3 year old who was having a hard time sit on my lap while she did my makeup. I must also add her timing was phenomenal! Under an hour for the natural glam look I had asked for and it really held up for my mid May Califorina wedding. I feel asleep with it on and my husband asked if I had woken up and did my makeup the day after our wedding because it still looked so fresh. am in Yosemite and needed to be done by 4am. Our session started at 2:30am and Charissa was punctual despite driving an hour to meet me. My makeup came out so beautiful and natural and lasted all day, even in the rain. My hair was GORGEOUS and the curls held up until the next couple of days after. I received so many compliments on my look. I highly highly recommend Charissa for hair and makeup on your wedding day. I'm glad to have booked her and loved they way everything turned out. never worn false eyelashes before. Charissa put me at ease during my trial as I was able to test out the eyelashes and wedding day look for my engagement pictures. Needless to say... I LOVED IT!! I felt like a fancier version of myself, but still myself, which was so important, both to me but my husband as well. Prepping for the wedding... Charissa was so helpful and accomodating at various bridesmaids and family members changed their minds at the last minute, which she warned me would happen. She was able to do makeup for 9 people total!! Everyone looked amazing and had nothing but stellar reviews for Charissa. About 6 out of the 8 people hadn't had their makeup professionally done either and they also felt like themselves but a bit more glam. Everyone was just gorgous!! I will definitely be having Charissa do my makeup for any events in the future because her makeup is beyond beautiful! She is so talented, easy to talk to and very flexible with her scheduling of appointments. She also created a timeline and day-of schedule for me, which helped tremendously with 10+ girls getting their makeup done. Everyone felt beautiful, we received so many compliments throughout the day, and the makeup lasted over 12+ hours and still looked perfect by the end of the night. I can’t wait to work with Charissa again and I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for beautiful makeup services!
