Makeup by Christina Burns

ncing our features while staying true to our individual coloring and personalities. She perfectly captured the overall look the bride envisioned, creating a cohesive yet personalized style for everyone. Her talent, calm presence, and attention to detail were such a gift on a busy wedding day! Now, onto Laura Lee: We had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura Lee for the wedding, and I truly can’t say enough about her talent, professionalism, and creativity. She styled hair for ten ladies—yes, TEN!—including the bride, mother of the bride, bridesmaids, and a junior bridesmaid. Every single one of us has waist-length hair, and somehow, she made each of us look uniquely stunning. Laura came fully prepared and approached the day with total grace and calm. She took her time with each person, making sure our hairstyle ideas (with the bride’s final approval!) came to life in the most beautiful way. Her ability to listen, envision, and execute was absolutely remarkable. Each style was elegant, polished, and held up perfectly all day and night. We all felt so confident and beautiful, thanks to her magic touch. Beyond her skill, Laura is kind, organized, and passionate—a true professional in every way.

eeded to start the day off right. They made me and all the ladies in my bridal party look and feel incredible. Every single one of us felt confident, beautiful, and still like ourselves — which was so important to me. Christina and Laura truly listened to what each person wanted and tailored every look perfectly, whether it was soft and natural or full glam. Not only are they insanely talented, but they were also so organized and efficient, keeping everything on schedule without making the morning feel rushed. They were warm, professional, and genuinely fun to be around — it felt like having extra friends there to celebrate with us! I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. The hair and makeup lasted all day and night, through every laugh, happy tear, and dance floor moment. Christina and Laura are absolute artists and such kind, lovely people. Highly, highly recommend them for any special occasion — they were truly a dream to work with!

er the wedding that it was probably the best wedding make-up/hair experience she has ever had. I couldn't have asked for a better beauty team for my big day!

mily feel beautiful and was able to accommodate and last minute lash request for my step daughter. Could not recommend her enough!

beautiful on my wedding day and I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist! She is truly the best!

will look great on you and does such a thorough job explaining each step. The style in which she applies the makeup does not look heavy at all, honestly it is the best my makeup has ever looked in my entire life! She did the makeup for all my bridesmaids and each girl looked so pretty and they were raving the entire night about how much they loved their makeup! We also booked hair for the bridesmaids with Laura, who works with Christina and each girl's hair looked amazing and lasted all night long! I will be recommending Christina and her team to everyone and if you are trying to find your day of wedding beauty team, you have found it with Christina and Laura!

o other brides looking for a reliable makeup artist.

s and this was by far the best makeup I have ever had!

ing for. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day thanks to both of them! They did a great job on my wedding party also. They were very timely, friendly and reasonably priced when makeup can be so incredibly expensive at times! Thank you both so much!

uccess on the day of the wedding, and her team got along so well with all my girls! Most importantly, everyone’s makeup was GORGEOUS! All of my bridesmaids were beaming all day. Thank you so much for making me truly feel like the most beautiful bride and for making all my favorite ladies feel flawless. 🤗

team for my wedding! I didn't even schedule a trial for my bridal look because I knew they would master it on the morning of! Veronica did absolutely amazing!! I showed her a few inspo pictures and she freaking nailed it!! Veronica is the sweetest human and she made it so relaxing getting glammed up! All of my bridesmaids and both moms looked so fabulous with their soft natural glam! Even with dancing all night the make up lasted up until I showered!

rful assistant ready to go! Christina and I chatted about her history in the field at my trial, a few months before the wedding, which helped ease my anxiety about picking a makeup artist. She is very receptive to feedback and truly wants you to feel your best. We tried something a little out of my comfort zone for the trial and she was more than willing to change the plan up to something a little more 'me' on the day of the wedding. Her flexibility and adaptability is something I have struggled to find with makeup artists in the past. My makeup required very small touchups after photos and first look, which were easily done. You won't be disappointed!

o work with and so sweet! My bridesmaids also looked stunning! I would highly recommend her for your wedding day!

the BEST makeup artist in St. Augustine. I loved the airbrush makeup for my wedding day and so many of my bridesmaids agreed! It was perfect for a full long day of photos, tears, and celebrations. Christina eased all my nerves during my trial and I was blown away with how great the makeup turned out. If you’re a St. Augustine or nearby bride- use Christina and her team. They rock and I can’t speak more highly of them.

amazing. She made me feel so beautiful. Thank you Christina!!

y bridal makeup as well as my three bridesmaids all of us felt beautiful! If you’re looking for a professional Christina is the stylist for you!

th, can’t recommend her enough! Thank you Christina!

the bridal party hair and then we packed up and went to the treasury for makeup. With 8 people that needed hair and makeup done in a short amount of time, Christina, Angela, and Kim worked quick and made each of us feel beautiful. Since I live about 3 hours from St. Augustine, I did not have a hair/makeup trial, but Christina and Angela were great and I never worried about that. Definitely recommend them!!

ht! Everyone said how natural it looked and we’re so impressed. They were so accommodating and I truly, cannot thank them enough for the gorgeous make up! They were also so great to work with and very personable. Thank you for everything!

mind by providing me a timeline days in advance and both showing up super early. They were super friendly to work with and made the morning stress free! Thanks to these awesome ladies, I had the hair and makeup of my dreams that lasted ALL day and night!

ly felt confident. I will always use Christina for any future important photo shoots or events in my life. Christina, thank you for making our day flawless and stunning!

bridal trial, I knew that Christina understood what I wanted and relaxed! My wedding day makeup was absolutely perfect and held up amazingly. I am so thankful to have had her on my team of vendors and would gladly recommend her to anyone inquiring :)

She really is amazing and talented. We could not have done it without her! Christina was so wonderful to work with, we had no stress or concerns knowing that she was by our side. We really cannot thank her enough for making each of us feel so beautiful and confident!

p, but my bridesmaids and my mom & mother in law! Absolutely flawless and my bridesmaids and mom were talking about their makeup days after and taking end of night selfies to show how incredible it still looked! Christina is also so sweet and so fun to talk with during a hectic day, she made it easy!!!

takes the time to find the perfect lashes for your face and the airbrush was perfection. Highly recommend!

thing. She worked with me to figure out what I liked about my “inspo” pics to create my own look. On the wedding day, she was so efficient and was able to get all 5 bridesmaids, mom, and I, made up flawlessly and our makeup stayed put all night. It was a joy to work with Christina and I will definitely be booking with her again!

n. No issues or complaints of any kind. Recommend a consultation or trial makeup service beforehand to help to find your personal preference.

asure to work with and the makeup turned out so beautifully.

felt beautiful! I would always recommend Christina!

and she absolutely killed my makeup with just showing pictures. I’m so thankful I found her!

g with hair and makeup! I am not a huge hair and makeup person, but they were so personable and attentive and helped me bring my vision to life. It was better than I could’ve ever imagined and I have never felt more beautiful in my life thanks to them!! My bridesmaids were just as blown away by their work - our hair and makeup lasted all night, so seamless and lightweight!! And the touch up lipstick was the perfect little gift! We had so many compliments from our guests!! Cannot thank you guys enough for all you do!! Truly, the best!! :)

was also very lightweight which I loved! Both hair and make up lasted the whole day!

y recommend Christina for your wedding!

my bridesmaid’s even said she liked her makeup better as a bridesmaid my wedding day than on her own wedding day as the bride! She seriously did an amazing job so if you’re hesitant with choosing a makeup artist I hope this review helps you - I 100% recommend her!

essional (they did a whole moisturizer and prep and then applied our makeup-we were all so impressed). Christina and her assistant were so amazing to work with and if you find her on Instagram or social media her pictures do not do her work justice! She is also timely and so reasonably priced. I found her on The Knot and living out of state you just never know what you will get and I relied on reviews so I felt I needed to write a raving one for Christina and her team. I could go on and on-seriously hire Christina!

corrected everything perfectly on the day of the wedding. I was also very impressed with the bridesmaids makeup, not having a trial before! She is so sweet and a calm presence on the big day. If I had one negative- it would be how the makeup was impacted by a few tears (which was something I don’t think I brought up, just assumed it would be good.) At my first look, I shed a few tears (really just a couple) which created very noticeable streaks down my face. I hurried to try to fix before the ceremony but just wasn’t the same. The rest of the night I was trying so hard not to cry- for fear of ruining it further. Not something you want to be holding in on the big day! This is probably something that would be fine if discussed with her. Just my personal experience. But overall happy. Makeup looked great in photos.

ing. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I’m really picky coming from the cosmetology industry myself and trust me, Christina does amazing work. Make sure to book her immediately when you decide to have your makeup done for your event! Thank you again Christina!

orking with her leading up to the big day too. She was so easy to communicate with, prompt, and extremely flexible throughout the planning journey! I cannot recommend Christina enough. We will absolutely be sharing her work with future couples, family, and friends alike!

orida heat of July. She also gave everyone little lipsticks to take to reapply during the wedding which was awesome. Christina was easy to work with, very professional, responds quickly to messages, and just all around a sweet person. Thank you so much Christina!

ids). I would recommended Christina to anyone looking for a makeup artist.

e! My makeup surpassed my expectations.! It lasted the whole party and it held tears and sweat, incredible!! Another important aspect for me is the quality of the products she uses. I tend to get allergies when I am wearing makeup, especially in my eyes. I did not feel any discomfort during my wedding and my makeup was impeccable the whole time! Hiring Christina was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. Highly recommended.

est version of myself. She uses high-quality products and is the QUEEN of lashes, so the makeup lasted all day, but never once felt greasy or uncomfortable. At our wedding afterparty, many hours after the reception ended, one of my friends even said "You look exactly like you did when you walked down the aisle!" - a testament to what an amazing artist Christina is. My three bridesmaids and my mom also were also SO happy with their looks, and agreed it was the best makeup they ever had done.
