I wanted natural eyebrows, how I liked my eyeshadow, etc. She asked all the right questions and I ultimately liked my look, I just decided the only thing I would want to change on the day of, was no shimmer or gloss. She took pictures of the final look. On my wedding day, she came in and started right away, and didn’t ask any questions or show me my trial photo. I figured she knew and remembered what I wanted. Fast-forward 1.5 hours later, and my eyebrows are super heavy, dark, sharp, pointy, and close together. I was shocked! It was nothing like the trial where she did soft natural brows, and the eyebrows can really change an entire makeup look. I expressed my concern that I didn’t love the eyebrows, and can she please make them not so dark and close together. She attempted to remove some of the color and put more foundation on top of an already set/powdered face, so it just started getting more cakey. I decided to just say it was ok as I also was running out of time and had to get dressed to meet the photographer for the first look. I was so disappointed that Courtney did not replicate the makeup trial look, and feel like that defeats the purpose and was a big waste of time & money. I wish she would’ve shown me the trial photo before starting, to make sure we were all on the same page. I wish she also would have not set my entire face with powder before showing me and asking me if I wanted to make any changes. On my wedding day, I did not feel confident at all because of my makeup. My friends tried to reassure me that it didn’t look bad, but that’s just not what I wanted or what makes me feel like me. Now that I got back some sneak peak photos, my favorites are the ones from behind or far away. I hate all the close-up photos & videos. Unfortunately, I would not recommend for such an important day.

her an inspiration photo and she exceeded my expectations. She was super friendly and made me feel comfortable for the first time getting my makeup professionally done. When I got home, my fiancé was impressed! She had a second artist with her on the day of the wedding to do myself, six bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom. They stayed on schedule all morning but didn’t rush. Each of my bridesmaids said their makeup was the best it had ever looked. Some of their husbands even said it looked better than their own wedding days! My mom was worried about her makeup being too heavy, but she loved it! It was a long day with 100+ degree heat and my makeup lasted the entire day. It looked amazing but I couldn’t even feel anything. I have never gotten more compliments before. Courtney made me feel gorgeous and I am so thankful for her!

s are incredible! You can tell this is her lifelong passion. I had an outdoor wedding, in October, and had a TON of dancing. Basically, I was a sweaty mess. My makeup stayed flawless and gorgeous all night long. I would absolutely recommend hiring Courtney as your makeup artist, you will not regret it. She has a wide range of abilities, and whether you want dramatic, natural, pop color, or anything inbetween, she will make it happen.
