Hi, I'm Diana Anghelus, owner of Makeup By Diana. With over 15 years as a licensed esthetician, I specialize in bridal and wedding makeup for all skin tones, ages, and cultures. My passion is creating personalized looks that enhance your natural beauty and last all day in Arizona's heat.
EXPERTISE & TRAINING
I have deep expertise in Middle Eastern, Indian, Asian, and multicultural bridal makeup - having worked with brides from diverse backgrounds throughout my career. Originally from Eastern Europe myself, I understand the importance of honoring cultural traditions while creating timeless, camera-ready looks.
Trained by world-class cosmetics brands including MAC, Dior, Lancôme, Guerlain, Prescriptives, and Origins, I hold advanced MAC certifications and bring both artistry and skin science to every application.

She was professional, punctual, and awesome. She set up a very concise morning-of schedule for me and my ladies well in advance. I also let her know I needed a hair person, and she recommended the best hair stylists too.
In 2019 (?) I had a trial with her for my wedding in 2020 (covid postponed) - she was already so into cleanliness of her brushes & makeup, and she continues to be even more careful in 2021.
We had he for only half a day, but every lady in our house (7+) had questions about makeup, and she cheerfully answered all of them. She may have been some peoples’ favorite guest. Haha. So many people told us we all looked beautiful, and who did our makeup!?

As someone who NEVER wears makeup, she didn't push an over-dramatic look but made me look like an elevated version of myself. She really knows her stuff, and she's super organized and clean (a priority any time, but especially for a COVID wedding). Her prices are also reasonable from the research I did. . I was pleasantly surprised when she said she'd come to my home to do the trial. I loved my trial makeup, and I knew Diana was a supportive person to have around on my wedding day. We communicated regularly between my trial and the wedding day, and she quickly responded to any questions I had and was flexible with some changes I needed to make with the bridal party. On our wedding day, all of the girls' makeup looked amazing and I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day because of Diana. Additionally, Diana came with us to the venue, and did some touchups for me prior to our first look and ceremony. After our wedding, I was surprised to see an email with some photos that Diana had captured during the day while we were getting ready and waiting for the ceremony to start. My mom had reached out to me feeling kind of sad that we did not get a picture together in our dresses before the ceremony, and as I looked through the pictures Diana had sent me, she had a couple of photos of me and my mom. This brought tears to my eyes and I'll forever be grateful for these moments she captured. I can't even express how lucky I was to have Diana there on my wedding day, and I am already trying to think of other reasons to have my makeup done so I can see Diana and have her do my makeup again!
