Located in West Hempstead, NY, Makeup By Diana is a wedding beauty company. Founder and professional makeup artist Diana Cappolla wants to make her part in the wedding planning process as straightforward as possible. This company was borne out of her passion for makeup, and she wants to use this excitement to help you feel beautiful for your big day. Makeup has been a love of Diana’s since she was a teenager. She would happily help her friends get ready for nights out and school events. Realizing how much she loved helping people feel radiant, she decided to turn it into a career, resulting in Makeup By Diana. She has been a licensed makeup artist for more than 12 years, and now does her friends’ makeup for their weddings. She works with Jen Rozenbaum as a beautician for boudoir photoshoots. This has given her lots of experience in helping people embrace their confidence and inner beauty. Diana confidently offers her services to larger groups so that the entire wedding party can look their best. Before the wedding, however, you can discuss your thoughts and preferences with her at a makeup trial. She loves being able to become friends with her clients, which makes it all the more meaningful when they are radiant and ready to walk down the aisle. Her professional nature can ease your worries, assuring you that you are in safe, capable hands. If you prefer a more glamorous, full-coverage look, Diana is happy to provide airbrush makeup.

Every session I had airbrush makeup and I can say that it looked flawless all day, even after a day full of heat, sweating and even a late night swim. Diana also was super punctual on the day of the wedding and was very responsive via email which made me feel at ease during all the chaos of the pandemic. Highly recommend Diana to any bride looking for a makeup artist!

I saw her for a trial, she communicates so well to someone like me who’s not used to wearing a lot of make up. It never felt too heavy, even with the lashes. We played with my eyeshadow color, going a little lighter, seeing what looked good. I never felt rushed, in fact she suggested some of the changes and was willing to spend whatever time I needed. Once the trial was over I couldn’t wait to see Diana again on my wedding day.
On my wedding day I woke up with a cold sore - what a nightmare! Thanks to Diana’s talent no one could tell. I received so many complainants on my makeup that day - even from the photographer.

She is professional, prompt and incredibly organized and responsive from the moment you reach out to her, to anytime throughout the process. Because of her vision, I looked absolutely perfect. During her trial, she gave me some suggestions that ultimately brought me to the incredible pictures and look that I wanted!!! She impressed all those who saw me and did make up for my mother and sister (who both looked equally as stunning). Our make up was perfect from 5:30am through the wedding and an after party that ended after midnight. I could not believe it!!!! I can't think of a better job than being a professional Makeup artist. I have been in the makeup industry for over 12 years. I absolutely love enhancing my clients natural beauty and being a part of their biggest day! I am the proud mom to a beautiful 6 year old girl and 1 year old German Shepherd, and have been happily married for 9 years!
Having been a Bride I understand the entire planning process and its my goal to make this part of your planning as easy as possible. I look forward to working with you on one of the biggest days of your life and becoming fast friends!
