Makeup by Flynn

selves. Could not recommend Flynn more!!

s an unbelievable hair stylist and gave me the bridal hair of my dreams! Faith and Yana were also so kind and professional during my bridal trial answering all my questions and really understanding my vision. Could not recommend makeup by Flynn more!

call when I was getting married myself. She did an amazing job, was extremely organized before/on the day. She also helped me find the best possibly hairstylist for me, after my first hair trial didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. She was very patient and listened to exactly what i was looking for, and found me the perfect stylist. I was extremely confident in my team heading into the day, and I am so appreciative of her helping me achieve that!

us hours. Flynn and her team are highly professional and easy to be around. I cannot recommend them enough!

wedding photos. And despite 80% humidity my hair stayed intact :) They were kind, courteous, and kept the energy calm as we started to approach go-time on wedding day.

about paying right away. On the day of the event, I hadn’t heard from her and emailed her first thing to follow up on when the stylist would arrive. I reattempted emails, tried calling, instagram message. Finally, 30 min before my event she said she forgot to put me on her calendar. At that point, any attempts to rectify the issue would have costed our attendance. I had to make my husband run to a store to get products to do something myself. While I appreciate her paying me back, I felt really disrespected. She took my payment but wasn’t considerate of my travel and time let alone need for help in an area I don’t know. Just because she was featured on Vogue doesn’t mean a non-celebrity doesn’t matter. I paid a lot for her to treat me this way. Appreciate accountability but it doesn’t make it ok by any means. Of note, another NYC artist ghosted me and left me on read before Flynn, so there is clearly some issue with NY stylists not committing well.

felt incredible all day. She has a calm and zen demeanor which helped me feel great as I was getting ready. She was upfront about her pricing and referred an incredible hair stylist for me as well. It was a 10/10 experience and I refer every new bride to her that I can!

hat she knew how to do make up on multiple types of races/ethnicities as I had a diverse bridal party and wanted to make sure every bridesmaid felt beautiful.

on my bridal and bridesmaids hair and makeup!

essional, warm, smart, and receptive. She was easy to communicate with and super reliable. I could not have loved my hair and makeup anymore and would recommend her to absolutely anyone.

getting ready!! Couldn’t have pictured a better person to do the job, would recommend to everyone!!

amera-ready. From the trial session to the big day, Yana was professional, patient, and attentive to every detail. She listened to my vision and gave expert suggestions, ensuring my makeup complemented my dress, theme, and personal style perfectly. The products she used were high-quality and long-lasting—my makeup stayed flawless all day and night, even through happy tears and hours of dancing! Yana truly went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for her amazing work to make me feel my best on such an important weekend!

of 12+) and my family look amazing. They were super helpful the entire day and stayed with me to the very end! I would highly recommend them for any occasion but especially your wedding day! They are fantastic!!!!

w David made my makeup look polished yet natural. This was super important to me as I don't wear a TON of makeup and still wanted to look like myself. He did the best job. And I loved how my low bun turned out with Faith. It stayed in place the whole night and was exactly what I wanted. They were a dream team!! My family and bridal party raved about them. I would highly highly recommend!

end Flynn and her team!

beyond talented. All my bridesmaids loved their hair & makeup!

pictured. Their positive and upbeat energy make the whole "getting ready" part of the day that much more fun. AND the hair/makeup was perfect and stayed flawless all night.

sponsive to our needs and made it a point to make sure we had the best experience on both days. Not to mention - they are INSANELY talented and fun to be around. Flynn and her team are absolute rockstars and will make all your dreams come true!

onsive and managing logistics was also always really easy. Couldn’t recommend more!

sts too. Flynn was thorough in making her schedule, helping with last minute requests, and all of the artists were on time on the wedding day. All I cared about was really looking like myself still with wedding day makeup and Marina exceeded my expectations. It makes such a big difference when you don't have to stress about hair or makeup the day of and everything just goes smoothly. Thank you Flynn, Marina & team!

ntastic job on hair and makeup for my relatives and me. They were wonderful to spend time with that day, and really nailed what everyone was looking for, with time to spare. Bianca and Brittany incorporated feedback from my makeup and hair trial into the day-of look and I was so thrilled with the end result and photos from the day. Absolutely perfect!

ded trait for a wedding day. I highly recommend them for any makeup and hair needs.

beautiful. Can’t recommend Flynn and her team enough for your wedding.

were anxious about hair and makeup and both of them were so thrilled. Flynn is laid back and easy going, the perfect energy that you want around you on your big day. I cannot recommend Flynn and her team enough!!

ughtful on with every single person the day of my wedding. I was so happy with how my makeup looked-- it was better than I could have ever imagined. I am so thankful for her and her team and cannot recommend her enough.

ll feel so relaxed. It was like we we're all friends. Flynn, Shqipe, and Zana carefully listened to each person's preferences and ensured everyone was happy. They worked efficiently and stayed on pace with my tight timeline, but never made anyone feel rushed or tense. Every single bridesmaid, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and myself felt so beautiful. Our hair and makeup held up through 12 hours of wedding celebrations. No one felt overdone, but rather the most beautiful version of themselves. Flynn is an excellent communicator and is very organized. I cannot rave enough about her and her team.

is someone I'd happily recommend!

appy with how my makeup turned out. Flynn's team had done the makeup for two weddings I was in so I knew I was in good hands!

to make the "getting ready" part of the day so much fun. 10/10 would recommend Flynn and her team for any wedding or special event. Simply put, they are the best in the biz.

l both of us were totally happy. She was patient, friendly, on-time, easy to be around, and clearly super talented with hair. This was all true on the wedding day as well. I was really happy with my hair, and still am when I look at the photos! I often have the experience of getting a blow out and having it fall immediately upon leaving the salon, so I was nervous about wearing my hair down for the wedding (even though it was what I most wanted). I was so glad that on the day of the wedding it lasted all day and night. Thank you to Faith and the team at Flynn Makeup and Hair for organizing!

helps with stress on the big day. They were truly a pleasure to work with. Can’t recommend them enough!

se who wanted a subdued and natural look, Flynn and her artists delivered beautifully.

p!

nergy and everyone was so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. Could not recommend Flynn enough. I also want to add that the hair trial was fun and easy to schedule. She and her team deserve more than 5 stars!

! I felt so beautiful without feeling like the makeup was caked on or too fake looking. She was such a pleasure to be around and made all my bridesmaids feel super comfortable. Also the staying power of the makeup she did was unmatched! I didn't have a smudge all night and when I rolled out of bed after four hours of sleep to go to our goodbye brunch (and forgot to wash my face) my makeup STILL looked perfect the next day. Spectacular work.

d I couldn't be happier that we went with her!

th the trial for both make up and hair. But come the wedding date it was a huge disappointment: -I called 3 days before to give directions to my venue and she had NO IDEA if she was doing make up, hair or both. Fine, its been a while maybe she forgot. Good thing I called to remind her. -At my trail my hair was soft curls in the back. At my wedding my hair was a disaster! It looked nothing like the trial. I was assured my hair would be curled and she said she would, but left without finishing the job. Here are some photos: https://ibb.co/dDpLgK6

get a drink with. I can't believe how happy I was with my wedding look and the looks of rest of the bridal party. Everyone was saying it was one of the best wedding makeup experiences they'd had, not just because of how her team has mastered the truly natural makeup look, but they were also so so fun and calming to hang out with all morning. Flynn and her hair artist Faith truly made me feel like the best version of myself. Thank you!!

ecame friends by the end of the day and I couldn’t recommend them more.

lowing, beautiful bride. Not only are they skilled artists, they are a pleasure to be around – Flynn and her team really put me at ease on a nerves-filled day!
