Oh my, did she deliver! I typically do not wear makeup. I wasn't really sure what I wanted. We had a trial and finally I decided on a look. She was very patient and offered suggestions according to my skin tone and texture. I highly recommend you hire her ! I know I will be hiring her in the future for any family event that I may have.

emailing many makeup artists I found on The Knot. Gabriela was one of the first to respond, but also was the only one that actually was available for the time and date needed with 3 weeks notice. She asked for example photos of what I was looking for and also gave suggestions to make sure the makeup would be long lasting after application. She also was very communicative leading up to the shoot and arrived early! My makeup was done in about an hour, maybe less and I received SEVERAL compliments from those I sent selfies to! I loved it and felt very confident :) I am still waiting for the engagement photos but I am sure I look amazing! Finally, she is very personable and easy to talk to, and I enjoyed her company while she did my make up. With all the pictures and portraits, the wind and weather, I was so grateful for her foresight and thoughtfulness. e for her information. In addition to doing my make-up so beautifully, Gabby was also able to cover up some scars on my neck from a surgery I had in April. The scars are still pink, but by the time she was finished, you couldn’t even tell they were there.

ight cheek & more than a handful of pimples on my forehead. I felt defeated, stressed about being close to guests & taking pictures, but most of all I felt ugly... & then in walked Gabriela. Gabriela was so accommodating, so sensitive to how I was feeling (unlike in so many situations where I’ve encountered people feeling the need to put in their two cents), & so on top of her game. During my trial, my skin was fairly calm which meant that on the day of my wedding, Gabriela needed a completely different game-plan to cover my acne and make it last. She outdid herself. She will most likely preface her makeup application by saying that it will feel like a lot more makeup than you’re used to - which is true to a point. But for myself, someone who RARELY wears makeup, it never felt heavy or uncomfortable or cakey or “too much” - it looked beautiful in person & even more beautiful on film. Gabriela is beyond knowledgeable, but most importantly she is talented. During both my trial and day-of appointments, she verbally walked me through everything - what products she was using, why she was using it, & what she was doing all WHILE executing the look. She answered questions, not only from me but from friends who were simply onlookers. She welcomed feedback, allowed for (even requested!) inspiration pictures (which from what I’ve experienced, can be met with a lot of attitude), & was all around such a pleasure to work with. Her artistry should speak for itself, but there’s a reason she has so many positive reviews & happy clients - she truly cares about what you look like AND how you feel after.

She is a knowledgeable and experienced Make-Up professional. Even though it was months since she had help me with finding a foundation, she remembered my skin enough to notice improvements in it. Gabriela prepared for the optimal results for my special day. She gave me pointers to improve my skin even further. Her knowledge was obvious when she told me my skin needed moisturizing since I had dry skin. I always thought my skin was oily/combo! Turns out, she was right!! I started the daily regime she recommended on the trial day. By the time of my ceremony, my skin had greatly improved. She was on-time, friendly, and worked at an appropriate speed. When she finished, I felt flawless!! I got many compliments on my look, and the pictures turned out great! ence. Right away, walking in to her home, I felt comfortable and she made sure I felt like it too. Her makeup room is impeccable and left me in complete awe. The range in her kit was to die for and left you with so many options. She began by exfoliating my skin since I have extremely oily skin; she then explained why she would use the mask and why it would help for my long night and it helping keeping it matte after removing it. Right after, she explained which parts of the face she would start off and end off with. I had never got my makeup done by someone else besides myself and she made sure I knew which products she would use on my face and why. To me, not only was that reassuring to how my face would look, but my comfortability too. I had ever seen my face matte before her work and that is amazing!!! She made me feel and look beautiful for my big night that I had dreamt of for years! Gabby made the picture in my head come to life and for that I am forever grateful. I was flooded with compliments that night and even after tearing up a couple times, it stayed intact! Thank you so much!! Your work is incredible and I will definitely be coming back for my wedding (and pretty much every time I go out because it was that bomb).
