Makeup by Gabriela

at and everything. And she gave me a little pouch with some essentials for touch ups throughout the night, which I thought was super sweet. Highly recommend!

for my nieces wedding as one of the bridesmaids. I originally sent her ideas of how I wanted my makeup and she listened to what I wanted and provided her professional opinion which I appreciated, she nailed the look I was looking for! She was punctual, had a clean setup, and most importantly made me feel beautiful!

ng to my sensory needs as someone that doesn't wear lashes. She made me feel incredibly cared for and listened to from our makeup test run, to communication to the day of with my bridesmaids, my mother and MIL. Gabriela is so kind and will make sure you feel like yourself in your make up and bring out your best features. I would highly recommend her services for any Chicagoland bride!

the to go kit she made for me). From the moment I sat down, she was so welcoming and informative, ensuring I felt comfortable and confident. She started with a skincare routine that truly brightened and refreshed my face, making such a difference in the final look (which is something I didn’t think of). Her attention to detail, professionalism, and warm energy made the entire experience unforgettable. Thank you Gaby✨

te into my day to day. She takes time to go over each step and has excellent patience for questions. She explains why some products are good for you and honest about those that aren’t. She goes over color choices and educates you about skin tones and what effect you may get from each. My makeup was flawless and this being the second time she helps me out I can tell you leaving her chair I’ve never felt more beautiful. Please book you appointment soon.

She executed the look greatly and it lasted the whole night without the need for touch ups. I am extremely happy with her service. She was so fun and awesome (:

Oh my, did she deliver! I typically do not wear makeup. I wasn't really sure what I wanted. We had a trial and finally I decided on a look. She was very patient and offered suggestions according to my skin tone and texture. I highly recommend you hire her ! I know I will be hiring her in the future for any family event that I may have.

her clients. I’m a bit new to profesional make-up and Gaby helped me by asking the right questions to give us an amazing look! Looking forward to working with her again for the actual Quince event!

mmend her for any occasion!!!

emailing many makeup artists I found on The Knot. Gabriela was one of the first to respond, but also was the only one that actually was available for the time and date needed with 3 weeks notice. She asked for example photos of what I was looking for and also gave suggestions to make sure the makeup would be long lasting after application. She also was very communicative leading up to the shoot and arrived early! My makeup was done in about an hour, maybe less and I received SEVERAL compliments from those I sent selfies to! I loved it and felt very confident :) I am still waiting for the engagement photos but I am sure I look amazing! Finally, she is very personable and easy to talk to, and I enjoyed her company while she did my make up. Key takeaways: great customer service, knowledgable, prompt, efficient, personable, and does an amazing job!!!

u want to achieve. I had bought the new Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk collection and had asked Gabby to create a look using the new items. Gabby created three flawless and stunning looks for me and my daughters that lasted all day. I highly recommend Gabby for her expertise in helping you look unbelievably beautiful!

only does she do an amazing job, but she’s also professional and such a fun person to work with. You can’t go wrong with hiring her for any occasion!

ow long it stayed put through dancing in the heat of the summer (practically the entire next day it still looked perfect!). She also provided a touch up kit (I only really used it for lipstick touch up after dinner, but it was so great to have!). If you're debating it, don't. Just book her! You will be so glad you did!

d was able to make recommendations about products that would suit her complexion and deal with some skin sensitivity. I am very happy we found Gabriela!

is extremely talented and made me feel confident in her ability to complete my bridal look. Gaby is very open and honest and was not shy about directing my makeup vision. I appreciated that she was open to giving me suggestions and has enough experience to guide her input. I am very excited to see the full vision of my wedding look and I trust that Gaby will execute it beautifully. I highly recommend her.

tunning and I could not help but gawk at her. I happened to run into her in the bathroom and complimented her makeup. She told me that her makeup artist (Gabriela) was amazing and came heavily recommended by 2 of her friends. She spoke very highly and I made a mental note since I was getting ready to plan my wedding. Gaby is super friendly and knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond to study your look and makes recommendations on the day of your trial. She was very easy going and welcomed feedback. I was torn between 2 looks and Gaby let me see what both looks would look like. Gaby is confident in her skills and knows her stuff! She knows makeup and SHE LITERALLY KNOWS SOMETHING ABOUT EVERY BRAND! Long story short...I ended up booking her for my wedding!!!

ter for my type of skin and the results were great. She also did my moms makeup and for someone who rarely wears makeup she was pleasantly surprised at how good it turned out. Overall no complaints!

know, she worked a miracle! I have NEVER gotten my makeup done and had it last perfectly for the entire occasion, let alone in September! She made me feel like a princess, and I will always go back to her whenever I can: she didn’t make me feel dry after setting everything in place, it looked so natural and I had everyone ask where I had gotten my makeup done. Thanks Gabby! 💕

makeup would last throughout the day. When I wasn't 100% certain about how certain products looked on me, she offered alternatives. She embraced feedback and I knew I could trust her. My skin wasn't in the best condition prior to my wedding reception but Gabriela helped by giving tips to improve my skin. By the time of my wedding reception, my skin was glowing, and my makeup looked flawless. I couldn't have achieved that without Gabriela and thanks to her I felt gorgeous. I highly recommend her and I look forward to working with her for other occasions!

ted a look that exceeded my expectations. Gaby also has a vast knowledge on skincare and makeup products. She was able to look at my skin and make recommendations that prepared my skin for my wedding. Gaby also gave me suggestions for products that I could incorporate into my daily routine. Also, she gave me an awesome touch up kit but her work was so long wearing that I didn't have to touch up at all. I highly recommend her for private lessons, your wedding day or special occasion. I ended up booking her for my baby shower as well.

make up but wanted something fun - she definitely delivered a classy and fun look. Her professionalism and speed were very much appreciated. I’ll definitely be requesting her services again and recommend her to all I know!

ks great on me, just pushing me out of my comfort zone. I recommend her highly both for her makeup skills and professionalism.

so far as to weaving little flowers from my bouquet into my hair. She was wonderfully detail-oriented, but still efficient. I was super grateful that she was willing to travel, because her work was heart-droppingly astonishing. I felt so comfortable, not only with her, but also with the end product when I walked down the aisle. And I absolutely LOVED that she provided me with a little “touch up kit” for throughout the day and ceremony. With all the pictures and portraits, the wind and weather, I was so grateful for her foresight and thoughtfulness. All in all, I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated, experienced, and skilled makeup artist.

e for her information. In addition to doing my make-up so beautifully, Gabby was also able to cover up some scars on my neck from a surgery I had in April. The scars are still pink, but by the time she was finished, you couldn’t even tell they were there.

ight cheek & more than a handful of pimples on my forehead. I felt defeated, stressed about being close to guests & taking pictures, but most of all I felt ugly... & then in walked Gabriela. Gabriela was so accommodating, so sensitive to how I was feeling (unlike in so many situations where I’ve encountered people feeling the need to put in their two cents), & so on top of her game. During my trial, my skin was fairly calm which meant that on the day of my wedding, Gabriela needed a completely different game-plan to cover my acne and make it last. She outdid herself. She will most likely preface her makeup application by saying that it will feel like a lot more makeup than you’re used to - which is true to a point. But for myself, someone who RARELY wears makeup, it never felt heavy or uncomfortable or cakey or “too much” - it looked beautiful in person & even more beautiful on film. Gabriela is beyond knowledgeable, but most importantly she is talented. During both my trial and day-of appointments, she verbally walked me through everything - what products she was using, why she was using it, & what she was doing all WHILE executing the look. She answered questions, not only from me but from friends who were simply onlookers. She welcomed feedback, allowed for (even requested!) inspiration pictures (which from what I’ve experienced, can be met with a lot of attitude), & was all around such a pleasure to work with. Her artistry should speak for itself, but there’s a reason she has so many positive reviews & happy clients - she truly cares about what you look like AND how you feel after.

akeup dreams and vision. Her knowledge of the beauty industry, skin types/tones, makeup brands, etc. truly showed in my final look. Gabriela was able to tame my oily skin, cover insecurities, and left me feeling like an absolute goddess. My bridesmaids were also stunning! So again, book Gabriela and you will not be disappointed!!! :)

lowed up with suggestions. She was even flexible the day of the wedding because I was running late. She showed up and got right to work. She did a great job. I highly recommend her for your beauty needs!

appreciated that Gabriela worked with us to find looks that were special for the wedding, but still felt like "us." She was flexible when the day's schedule shifted, and gave me really great advice about skin care, too!

natural way that still looks like me and she understood that. It was done just enough to look fantastic and glamorous! I was very comfortable with her because she made it easy to describe what I was going for and was very receptive to it. I would definitely go to her again. Thank you so much for making me look and feel stunning!

nal, easy going and understood what I wanted!

on your big day. I truly enjoyed working with her and I’m always amazed at how beautiful I look when she’s done. She’s very creative with her work and always asks how you feel about your makeup. She is willing to make any changes to make you feel your very very best and has great ideas too on ways she can do your makeup that day. Gabriela is also super sweet and caring! She always has a smile on her face and will do whatever it takes to make sure she sees you for your appointment. I highly recommend Gabriela for your wedding day, wedding shower, bachelorette, or any other special event you are going to. You will not be disappointed :)!!

recommend Gabriela . I will definitely have her do my makeup in my future events., thank you Gaby!

nd she also gives you her input, but she creates the look you dream of on your wedding day. The day of my wedding, she came to the location on time, and ready to glam us up! She did a great job on all the bridesmaid and myself. I was so pleased with her work and we all received many compliments on the day of the wedding. We all agreed we would be using her services again and also taking a class with her. I will recommend her to any bride to be or for any occasion.

gger company and I was extremely upset about the outcome. When I reached out to Gabriela, right off the bat I knew I could trust her because she asked me questions about my skin type, what I'm looking for, and what went wrong with my other trial with another company. She asked me a lot of questions to gain better knowledge on what I expected from her, and also talked me the whole way through her process. She even gave me pointers and suggested things that would compliment my skin, while still respecting my wishes. Gabriela knows exactly what she is doing, and her passion shows through her thoroughness. I highly recommend her!! You will not be disappointed.

s totally age-appropriate and natural-looking. For my daughter (the quinceanera) she went with the GLAM look and my daughter was radiant! The makeup lasted all night. I got many compliments on my own, and in fact was told that I was unrecognizable in a TOTALLY GOOD way by quite a few folks!! Professional, easy to work with...Thanks Gaby!

or our special day!

maids who wanted it. Everyone loved how their makeup looked, and what was even better is that the makeup looked great in pictures as well. I would recommend Gaby to anyone who wants a makeup artist who is talented, professional, and knowledgable about what looks best. You will not be disappointed if you choose Gaby for your big day!
