Throughout the planning process, Gina was easy to communicate with!! She was prompt with her responses to texts and emails. Booking my trial with Gina was a breeze. I was even able to work it so that I had my hair (different company) and makeup trials on the same day! If I had a question, Gina was quick to provide an answer. On the day of, Gina was so polite and professional!! She did makeup services for myself, my mom, MIL, SIL, and a couple of bridesmaids. Each application was done in a professional amount of time and everyone looked beautiful! My mom, MIL, and SIL very rarely wear makeup and she listened to their requests and made them feel and look gorgeous!! When it came to my makeup, Gina worked with me and was open to changes I wanted to make from my trial. When she handed me the mirror, I was stunned! The makeup was 1000% more beautiful than I ever expected!! It was just the right amount of makeup to make me feel like an elevated version of myself, exactly what I wanted. The makeup was so lightweight and lasted all day and night (even through all the sweaty dance moves)!  I felt like a supermodel! If you want to feel and look like the most beautiful bride, BOOK GINA!!

I felt absolutely beautiful, but still looked like myself—such a perfect balance. On the day of the wedding, Gina and her team were nothing short of amazing. They worked quickly and efficiently, flawlessly doing makeup for myself, 8 bridesmaids, and 2 adorable little flower girls—and they finished ahead of schedule! One of the sweetest touches was the little touch-up kits she gave us to use throughout the night, which turned out to be so helpful. Everyone looked stunning, and the makeup stayed perfect all night long. I can't recommend Gina enough!

else. My MIL asked me the Saturday before the wedding if she could add on makeup (I recognize that is the most annoying thing to ask a vendor). However, I text Gina about it (took 24 hours to respond) and she said “Hi, what time do you have to be ready by? I have another artist helping because I have to leave at 10:30 because I had another wedding that one of my artists was on to do the bride and she just canceled on me.” I immediately called her because my contract was for her to do my makeup and all of my bridesmaids, plus I didn’t want my makeup finished that early and I didn’t want to feel like she was rushing to get all the way back to Philly to do two brides for that wedding. She didn’t answer my call and eventually called me back. She said their MUA canceled and they didn’t want someone who hadn’t touched their face before to do their wedding makeup (fair). She said she was trying to make everyone happy…. My issue is the absolute lack of professionalism to send that over text in response to my question (instead of calling me proactively) and not honoring our contract. I still wonder if I didn’t text her about my MIL, would she have even told me beforehand or would she have just shown up wedding day and been like sorry I’m leaving in 2 hours! Her “other artist” did my bridesmaids - which fine, I do understand that is how it often works, but because my bridal party was on the smaller side, Gina was contracted to do everyone, so it was incredibly unfair to not honor the contract. My bridesmaids didn’t tell me until after I got home from my honeymoon that her “other artist” had never met Gina before. She told them on the wedding day that was their first time meeting and working together (that would have shot me into orbit if I heard that on my wedding morning). I believe her phrasing “other artist” was purposefully misleading so I wouldn’t be upset. It was also very annoying that my MUA didn’t even stay for touch-ups (minor in the grand scheme of things, but still not ideal). Further, I didn’t have the best experience with my trial (perhaps that was foreshadowing). I was overall happy with the general look (I’m pale and the color match was great), but my skin close up looked HORRIBLE. It was separated and patchy and not how my makeup ever looks. Gina recommended I get a dermaplane facial for the wedding and that she would make it look “the best she could” come the wedding...I don’t operate in a world of “fine” so that was equally frustrating as it was not reassuring. Also, her studio had no natural light, just a ring light, so when I got out to my car I could see the makeup better and see how unblended my contour was. Naturally, I panicked and bought/tried/researched every foundation/primer under the sun (spent so much money). It all looked good on my skin with and without a dermaplane facial (nothing like hers looked at the trial). I ended up using the Estee Lauder Double Wear with the matching primer and it was amazing and lasted all night. So on top of it all, I didn’t love that the solution was buying/bringing my own makeup. I hate to write such a negative review, but this was my experience.

Unfortunately, Gina was not able to be there on my special day. But she introduced me to her lead artist Natalie. I did a trial with Natalie and she was also so amazing! Gina and Natalie know what they are doing, they also provide you with the best advice and make you feel amazing. Natalie killed my wedding day makeup and I don’t think I could’ve looked any better! I felt gorgeous each and every time. She listened to the vision I had for my look and the execution was even better than I could have imagined.
